I agree! Jago knew his purpose was never meant to be some bloodthirsty psychopath. Moreover he was meant to be a sort of judge for the guilty, jury for wicked, and executioner for the criminal. So that the innocent can rest and be safe under his protection.(just in my opinion of course)

Theres actually some lore behind that. At first the night lords were only the most gifted people of nostramo and also the original terrans. The best of nostramo are still killers but theyre at least intelligent or honorable. But after curze leaves the planet, the nobles secretly revolt. The nobles and a night lord marine, who is related to a noble, start sending the worst recruits of nostramo. This poisons the legion even more. Every new recruit is dishonorable and insane. When I heard about the short story of Sevatar and the Astropath I bought it immediately. This is why I love the Warhammer 40k stories and characters. Each major character is built on so many layers. When you think you know who they are, you find something that makes you re-evaluate them completely. I always pictured Sevatar as this ruthless and silent killer but your video showed a different side to him. Sevatar enacting justice on that girls torturers' was out of left field. Not only that, you tied Jago to Curze who is a very complex character. Bravo to your story telling and research. If I may offer one critique, any chance you can give a list of where you found this? That way we have a chance to read the same stories you found.

3.) as a result of 2. , Conrad misses him by the end of the Horus Heresy (lol) when he's dead/missing.

I think the best thing about Sevatar was the ending we don't know what happened to him and there are some great theories but if you just leave it as he went to hunt the people who hurt innocent it's a neat and happy ending. Not gonna lie my head cannon was that he went with Altani (sorry if I miswritten it) founded a happy life in a backwater planet and find a scattered night Lords he trained them to be justice and those Marines went on to become Cacharadons.

It is very clear by the all the hints in the HH books and later in the Space Sharks novels that Sevatar is the first Chapter Master of the Carcharodons Astra. They are exiles, they hunt in the dark and they call their first Chapter Master the Forgotten One. Curze had a vision of Sevatar leading a chapter of grey clad Marines in the void hunting the xenos and traitors and that vision came true.

Did you even read the Outer Dark and Red Tithe novel? They are literally hinted as Raven Guard decents of those who was banished by Corvus Corax for being too brutal.
They are a splinter force from the Banished Ravens now Ashen Claws with them having a shaky relationship and almost about to tear each other's throats only stopped bounded by their ancient oaths when they need each other's backs.
Sure it might be possible that Sevatar might came across them and founded the Space Sharks with their vindication against the enemies of Mankind in the void and with them being referred to as "Brothers" by the Night Lords
