- Buckle up for a mind-blowing interview with Alan Park, the man who witnessed history unfold as he chauffeured O.J. Simpson on that infamous trip to LAX. Prepare to be shocked by the revelations on this episode of One Degree of Scandalous! Park was three months into his new job as a limo driver when he received a call that changed his life forever. His boss dispatched him to 360 N Rockingham in the luxurious suburb of Brentwood in Los Angeles. It was late, on June 12, 1994. His assignment was to drive Simpson to LAX. This epic journey occurred less than an hour after Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were killed two miles away. Park and Kato Kaelin speak together for the first time ever, and this incredible episode reveals information never told before. Every minute, every chilling detail. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do more of the OJ case...so fascinating
how about having someone from the Brown family. I heard once that supposedly some of the phone records are still sealed, and that Juditha and Nicole spoke around 11pm or so....which would change the possibility of the timeline
how about interviewing Ron Shipp?
interview with Keith Zlomsowitch????
Tom & Kato Fantastic show. Allan was great and has such a recall memory. Agreed have him back for even more. Another quest I think would be great is attorney Daniel Petrocelli from OJ disposition.
Park was the key witness for the whole trial: The timeline revolved around him and his arrival to Rockingham and their departure. Fantastic guest
thank you!
I like to think I encouraged TZ and Kato to talk with Park, as did a lot of OJ trial-interested people. (I was going to say "buffs" or "aficionados" but it's not like that....not really....)
Agreed. Loving this get together. Allan has aged well.
All the pundits the night before the verdict was announced thought that because the jury asked to hear Alan Park's testimony at the end meant that he was guilty. People don't recall that everyone on the planet thought the words in the courtroom were going to be guilty.
Factsss 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Allan Park is sharp! He always presented himself in court, in documentaries and here with a lot of class, respect, honesty and integrity. He was, in the legendary words of Tom Lange, a "dynamite witness". Allan Park was the one who literally made the timeline for the whole case, the most solid and reliable witness in the entire trial.
I agree, he was my favorite witness back then and you can still tell today he’s a good guy and carries himself with class and integrity 👍
Which was why Shapiro was asking him all those nonsensical questions like the measurements of the stretch limo. Park handled himself beautifully on the stand against Shapiro.
If you had a go pro strapped to OJ while he murdered Ron and Nicole, that jury was sending him home! So Allan was just another speed bump!
@@CIF-pm7tk infuriating, isn’t it?
His mother was a lawyer. I am sure she advised him. Love how he did not let Shapiro run rings around him. Also hearing the end of that call he knew OJ was guilty as hell and his Mom heard it too on speaker phone. He was so confident on the stand.
The one person who never tried to profit off a double-murder trial.
His family already had money.
@@loki2stunt His family, not him
@@rafa7622 it afforded him to frolic in Catalina so what's the difference 🤔
@@loki2stunt the fact of the matter is that many people, who already had money, profited off of these murderers. Having money doesn’t mean greed ceases to exist, that’s why it’s called greed.
He could’ve made millions
It becomes quickly obvious Alan is a good dude with no agenda. Great interview Tom
Thank you!
Right like Kato. Lol
@@TZScandal I was in the 10th grade, we all thought this entire thing was crazy, especially when Allan park was called, our schools name, Allen Park high. Spelled differently, but all the kids would always bring it up.
What an absolute treasure to get this interview! After all these years this is the first interview I’ve seen with Allan Park! He was the absolute KEY and star witness in this entire trial. I remember listening to his his every word much like I’m doing now!! Complete respect Mr Park. Thank you for your testimony. It was truly riveting!
He handled his cross examination so well. Shapiro was so desperate and treated Parks horribly but Park stood his ground and gave it right back and respectfully.
Never saw an interview with him either. Months before this, I was nosy and tried finding out info about Allan on the internet, just to see if I could find any interviews with him post trial. Couldnt find a whole lot, and I just chalked it up to him not wanting to have anything to do with this case again.
Really cool to see him speak about that night. And not that he doesnt look terrific, but its also kind of crazy to see him so much older than that young blonde kid that I last saw.
My God, how time has flown.

I really like how much recall Allan Park has about that night. His memory is very sharp even after all of these years! What a great guy and a great interview. Good work Kato and Tom Z!
Yes good recall. He makes a really nice appearance here
I went to school with him. He’s truly an upstanding guy.

He seems really put together and good in his life yes!
Handsome man.
I was just telling my dad about this video. I was living with him in Florida back when the murders took place. I asked him if he remembers kato and he said "Oh yeah, of course I do. The guy with the long blonde hair. " He remembered the "limo driver" too. I can't believe it's been 30 years. I just turned 19 yrs old 1 week before the killings. I still feel heart broken for Fred Goldman. Thank you so much for this.
Thank you! Appreciate the comment. T.Z. Another great guest next week.www.youtube.com/@TZScandal
Ask your Dad if he remembers that Kato was a hostile witness for the prosecution and lied for OJ? Kato was supposed to be a good friend to Nicole who even named her dog after him.
Who’s your dad?
@jettyoeill I find it funny when he asked him if he remembers he clearly deflects the answer..he freakn remembers period
@@helenjackson9232 I agree. For the young people that weren’t alive when this happened, I’m sure Kato seems like a nice guy.
I will always see Kato as the “friend” that stabbed Nicole and her kids in the back by deciding to live with OJ in his guest house for free so he could make sure OJ always had the coke he needed. Then not coming forward with the truth on the night of the murders and being a hostile, uncooperative witness.
I don’t think Kato was involved in the murder. He did aid in the cover up to save his own ass.
Allan Park! I’ve been waiting for this interview!
🙏
Chris needs to be the next guest on the show!!!!
Kato just an upstanding, genuine guy, and the limo driver as well. With these two it should’ve been a slam dunk case. Not to mention the blood, the glove, the cap he left everything, but his calling card at that murder scene. Knowing his children could’ve found their mother like that just horrific.
Marsha made kato a hostile witness the jury probably dismissed his testimony
Kaydough blew the entire testimony, he caved, he blew it and he should turn down all appearances.....he gave the jury some of the DOUBT they needed to give the black jury the.guy a pass.
@@schott43 unfortunately, I don’t think any amount of testimony for that jury, would have convicted OJ…….
Upstanding? He betrayed Nicole in life and death and that sh_tstain stepped over the bloody bodies like a slim Jim wrapper! Then lied to help him get away with it. You are disgusting
Kato was a nice person.
That ending part about looking behind garage is significant.
He prbly wanted to find that glove.
Yep when he changed and stuffed all the clothes into the little bag he noticed the gloves were missing. The only reason he left the socks is because he assumed there would be no blood on them.
@@LB-lt3pzDumb assumption tho on OJ's part.
Like how the fuck did he not have a blood bath in his Bronco though? Especially on drivers side ? & only a dumbass would leave the gloves 🧤 & beanie behind!
he made so many mistakes. in a fair trial he wouldve ended up buried under the prison.
A lot of people might not know this, but Allan's mother is or was an attorney who represented Patricia Krenwinkel (Manson Family) in a few of her parole hearings.
Thanks I thought she was a lawyer or judge or DA. Thanks for the info.

Yet no mention of any cuts on his hand....interesting
@@jamaalshelton6793 OJ admitted to bleeding on the night of the murders in the interview with Tom lange and Philip Vannatter.
The phone recording not ending and hearing the defense saying that’s not what Oj said, says it all
Love that Allen revealed that. Never knew
Damn right . That was pure GOLD -100 %
There was a lot that told it all. It was so obvious from day 1. No matter how much evidence the jury wasn't going to convict him. Anyone with an IQ over about 50 knew it from day 1.
I am still puzzled by the thumps on the wall. 🤔 How can the sound of Bang! Bang! Bang! In a row, sound like someone crashing into a wall? Sounds more like a signal. 🤔🤔🤔
Ikr, loved that he shared this. Completely new info and I’m here for it.
Mr. Park, you are a man of integrity.
Allan Park: A very modest man, handled himself well.... a lot of folks would have been petrified! Allan Park reminds me of [the sky blue eyes of] actor Steve McQueen, and the other guy looks a lot like a younger Robert Redford, the actor.
Another riveting interview. 💗💗💗 Thank you Tom, Kato and Allan. I knew this was going to be good. A few weeks ago, I rewatched Allan's and Kato's testimony on the witness stand. It just pulls you back in from 30 years ago. I was 22 years old at the time.

Agree on so many levels. Read that bag was left in a secret compartment in the limo. Next day, bag retrieved by OJ’s regular limo driver, bag driven to a lake. No idea how true. Read this just last week on a message board
It is interesting that maybe the cops for years has been giving preferential treatment to Simpson , thus setting in motion a nonchalant attitude of proper conduct to a “Star”! The Star treatment! That attitude it’s probably what got Simpson situation was in , in the first place.
Exactly & Tom Lange always acting like he is super cop

He came across as a really good person on the stand too.
Tom, enjoyed this interview with Allan Park…..Him and Kato should be friends in real life….can’t believe they haven’t talked in 30 years
Kato became a celebrity after the trial. Allan park is just a regular guy who wanted to stay out of the spotlight. I could see why he didn’t want to associate himself with anyone who was involved after the trial if he wanted to live a somewhat private life. It’s crazy to think that it will be 30 years and that Kato and Allan park were the first people to see OJ after the murders.
glad i got them together! thank you T.Z.
Omg I clicked so fast!!! Please keep up this series! Love every episode!
That question at the end was CHILLING! Who knows what OJ might have done to Kato had Park not gone around the side of the house with them. CRAZY!!!
Thank you! Great comment. Another awesome guest next week.www.youtube.com/@TZScandal
I know because as he followed them OJ said we gotta go
It's highly unlikely OJ would have done anything to Kato. Kato lived on his estate, so anything that happened to Kato would make OJ a prime suspect and having just murdered his ex-wife and Ron Goldman he wasn't going to kill a 3rd person at his own house. He would most likely have gotten Kato away from the side of the house by distracting him so he didn't see the bloody glove. Also OJ trusted Kato otherwise he wouldn't have allowed him to live there for free.
@@Romulan2469Agreed bro. Maybe he would have lied about the dog getting loose, who knows, but he wouldnt have murdered Kato lol.
@@Romulan2469if OJ knew the glove was there, why not pick it up from the jump instead of worrying bout distracting Kato from seeing it. 🤔

I felt that way about both Alan and Kato. Life was difficult for both of them in the immediate aftermath, for something that they had nothing to do with and they were pretty young to deal with that. Kato particularly had to deal with feelings of sadness and horror for his friend Nicole.

I like you called mom for a number. Good old days.
The fact that OJ got away with the murder of two people. He killed the mother of his children and a young man who was starting in life. OJ was such a selfish individual. He was driven by ego and jealousy! He couldn’t stand the fact that Nicole was going to be happy with someone else. He got away with murder when he was clearly guilty. Feel so bad for Nicole and Ronald and for those children that lost their mother at such a young age.
He left their mother for them to find, but luckily they didn't
OJ didn't care about the safety of his children.

The racial tension at that time was so high they let him walk because LA had enough damage from the Rodney King Riots and I do believe they rioted over the MJ arrest as well but those 3 cases had racial tension High AF

My best line "we wouldn't be going for the same parts"
Being a former Chauffeur I relate to the time awareness and memory aspect. Whenever there is a “run” with a famous personality everything seemed to play out in slow mode. His testimony should have been the clincher. Occams Razor. Great interview. 🤙
Allan Park is the most important witness in the whole trial. His testimony alone should have put OJ in jail with a strong prosecuting team
He literally drove his limo over the area where the bronco was on at least 2 occasions between 10.20 and 10.40 trying to check which gate was best to squeeze a long limo into. He couldnt get it in properly on the Rockingham gate because of the tight corner. He couldnt even make this attempt if OJ's bronco was actually parked there as OJ has always claimed (because the detectives found it there). This is unquestionable proof that OJ was out in that bronco. It means Simpson was out, lied about that and he would need an incredible explanation as too where his bronco was after 10.20pm
OJ was actually incredibly unlucky that night. His normal driver would have gone straight too the Ashford side and wouldnt have really known if the bronco was (or wasnt) parked on Rockingham. But it was park, he was new and he conclusively proved beyond any doubt that OJ's Bronco was not there because he was driving his limo over the exact same space on the street trying too position his limo at the Rockingham entrance before deciding ashford was better. The bronco wasnt there because he was over at Bundy killing 2 people.
What a fantastic witness he was. Vincent Bugliosi would have finished OJ with this one witness

That's why Marcia called him to testify and not Jill Shively although I do think Marcia made a huge mistake in not calling Jill Shively nor Skip Junis as they were both key eyewitnesses as well. @@bsrk3170 Yeah that came out wrong,
Honestly he comes across as a very arrogant person who shifts all the blame for how badly this case was handled onto others. But I am willing to hear what he would have to say.
Yes! Chris Darden would make a great guest!
Excellent! Very, very chilling to hear these details.
Fabulous interview. thank you, Allan! And thanks to you, Tom and Kato.I watched this entire trial…VHS recorded on work days and watched at night!
Thank you!
Thank you thank you for Allan’s interview!!!!
Thank you! Appreciate the comment. T.Z. Another great guest next week.www.youtube.com/@TZScandal
This has quickly become my favorite channel on CZcams. Thank you Tom and Kato for such fascinating content so well delivered.
Thank you! Appreciate the comment. T.Z. Another great guest next week.www.youtube.com/@TZScandal
The cut on OJ ‘s finger was on his left hand so even if he was looking while shaking his hand…… wrong hand lol
What a great show this was. You guys do a great job and the stories never get old.
Thanks for interviewing A. Park. You gave him space to talk and answer questions. Did good for an hour interview, but feel like more could have been poked….maybe on longer interview in future. Thanks, guys
Thank you! Appreciate the comment. T.Z. Another great guest next week.www.youtube.com/@TZScandal
What a great guest! I thought I knew everything about this case, but I'd never heard about the recorded phone call with the defense. Thanks for having Mr. Park on.
It's painfully clear OJ did it. Wow, just think, you are driving to the airport a man who just literally half an hour ago completely butchered 2 humans to death. He is sitting just feet from u. Just mind blowing.
He's also sitting feet away from the bloody knife and bloody clothes.
Another fantastic guest. It’s amazing much more we still don’t know after 30 years. I honestly look forward to these interviews every week.
Thank you! Appreciate the comment. Another great guest next week.www.youtube.com/@TZScandal
Another great interview!
This was epic. Great interview guys
Awesome interview… Tom, I am in love with your voice!🎙️ and Kato, I have been a fan/supporter from Day 1… you’re amazing! So happy I found this YT channel! 🥰
thank you! so glad you enjoyed it! T.Z.
Thanks Allan! 😁👍🏻
Fantastic interview!
You got the upgrade. You’re officially Two Degrees of Scandalous with both Kato and Alan Parks on the same podcast. Way to go!!
Great show Gentleman. I just came across your channel.
Excellent the two of you together 👍🏾
Hey Tom Z, any chance of getting Denise Brown or Kim or Fred Goldman on sometime? That would be the Super Bowl of interviews.
Working on Kim and Denise. Count on it! T.Z.
@@TZScandal Great, thanks Tom Z! Can you try and get Mark Fuhrman as well? I think we need to get Fuhrman to answer the following questions:
1. Why he plead the 5th
2. Why he put in his notes he found a bloody fingerprint yet didn't preserve that evidence immediately nor speak to anyone at the scene and in particular the criminalist about that fingerprint
3. Why he never arrested OJ nor filed a report for the 1989 domestic violence assault on Nicole
4. How he felt about Lange and Vannatter taking over the crime scene investigation and their handling of the investigation
@TZscandal Get Marcia Clarke
@@RWB43449 That would be a good interview as she has a lot of explaining to do.
@@Romulan2469 I agree but just like she's talked about in the past coming on the heels of the Rodney King beating. They weren't going to convict an African American man in Los Angeles.
Great interview!!
Wow! Loved the interview!
This guy just seems like a genuine dude. God bless
Talk about a unique way to have ones life altered .
I appreciate the honesty of Allen during his trial testimony in the OJ murder trial.
Many people who were involved with OJ because of his crime have never been the same as a result.
Kato sure adds to this channel with his insight and intelligence.
Tom is also very effective with communication skills and he speaks his mind very effectively.
Great content.
Thanks Tom And Kato.
