Advice to new players:
Play whoever you like. Any and all characters will work fine for the game.
When people say "best" or "worst" characters this is in regards to Abyss meta. If you're new or don't want to do abyss then you're pretty much free to invest in anyone.
The main game is pretty easy and allows you to use anyone. Spiral abyss will usually lock you into meta characters.
Don't get caught up in popular opinions or meta talk, play the game however you like and build whoever you want.
You will naturally pull and build different characters over time and you can replace teams to fit your needs so don't worry.
People even play Genshin with starter characters so remember to play ur faves and have fun on your journey
Agreed! This video was just to inform who can give more value to your account as time goes by. But it doesn't mean you are forced to pull them! Like I said in the video, pull for who you want even if they are not on the list!

those supports will make literally any team for anyone cracked, so i can play good teams with my favourite characters
Yes best advise ever for new players....!!!! don't get baited into pulling these characters all at once, if u r new and just started the game and u r F2P then there is no way in hell u r getting all these characters quickly even welkin won't be able to help u very much, just wait and take it slow and eventually u will get the characters that r meta and help u with clearing the abyss with 36 stars. I know skipping new characters to get these old awesome and meta defining characters can be hard but that is what gacha is all about so don't let urself get baited into it have patience that's it.
getting Neuvillette and kazuha have definitely been my best pull decisions 😍
Pulling for Zhongli and Neuvi is the best decision I made with my constant red pings and skill issues 😂
One thing Yelan is more flexible than Furina p.s Furina need a healer to maximize her fan stack so for the new player i recommended Yelan more than Furina
Furina can be nice for new players too, she can heal she can be a sub dps and she can help you with exploration.

I pulled Yelan and have trouble using her. Both my main dps are charge attack users and my back up is aggravate.
Furina fits with the majority of main dps, as long as you have a healer. Yelan only fits into hydro reaction teams that use autos.
The best advice is get Nahida , xq, kuki, nuevilette, furina

I feel like it is better to get 5 star flexible support that can fit into many team comp than dps, as dps character can be getting powercrept by future characters. For dps, go for any character you like
Agreed!! That's why from 6th to 1st place is all supports/sub-dps
I disagree, I actually think the opposite, with 4 star supports like Bennet, Sucrose, Kuki, Yao Yao, etc who are just as good as some 5 star supports. I think a 5 star DPS is more important, I mean look at Keqing, Hutao, or even Tartaglia for example, they’re old characters and still relevant in meta today with Furina and dendro. With some exceptions like Klee most 5 star DPS won’t get outdated and will be relevant for a long time.
I mean if you tell me Neuvillete will be power crept in the future… Mihoyo needs to break the game to do that lol

My advice is : stay away from Ayaka as far as you can as a F2P. She is the highest investment character in the whole game and represents the second worst element

Her teams are not that expensive as you might think, i'm doing fine 36'ing the abyss with just Diona, Kazuha, Xingqiu lol and these characters are the one that you WILL have to get in ur account eventually, It's true that cryo is the second worst element in the game but the fact that she's still a top tier dps character despite having that element is just crazy, She shreds bosses like butter even with no reactions if there's a support that can apply consistent pyro status on the enemies for her burst to trigger a consistent melt reaction she would be alot more insane if only the other element is equally as good as Dendro and hydro... i despise how these 2 element are just completely on another level it's unbalanced and unfair
Ayaka pretty fun to play.. but c0 on floor 12 abyss.. u will be struggle a bit to get full star clear . Depending on how strong ur artifact and .. support.
Meta wise if u want full star clear abyss quickly as new player.. hyperbloom is the cheapest team.
National team is also one of the team to consider as for the other side.. but if u get stonk hypercarry like Neuvillete.. u will be fine also.
If hoyo keep buff HP mob in floor 12.. she will fall off but right now.. c0 she still doing fine. Also depending on enemy... dont put she against coppelia or copelius.. that boss got pretty high cyro and anemo res.
Well when you are new player there a talk about that " When you have character that you like or you don't know what kind of charater you should build, just play Archon and they will do the rest"
The only one i disagree with is Zhongli over kokomi. Because Kokomi is as good as a comfort character as him and can also the totm set. You don't have to use clam on her. And she's way more versatile obviously. I think Zhongli and Kokomi should switch places.
It's about buff's and resistance to interruption that matter these coming abyss & moreover the enemies with huge res to some elemental types as well as the enemies becoming more agressive patch by patch , & zhongli being a a character who can provide both of that is good of choice to put him over kokomi, like said kokomi is not a bad character but there's better characters like xq & yelan, as for why zhongli is mostly placed over kokomi is of the dps oriented teams like wanderer, nuevilette, xiao, etc teams who he is appreciated for that resistance to interruption he provide's more than that of heals & that tiny bit of 20% all elemental shred. Moreover we are talking about zhongli here just skill & say goodbye to damage
@@rax6667 you can't choose the abyss you want just to favour him lol. His res shred is good but Kokomi provides more things overall then he does. Sure you don't have IR but that's only useful for a few bosses who are very aggressive. Also Kokomi is can be placed in Bloom/hyperbloom/Taser or even Vape comps in which she can comfortably clear the abyss. If you're good at dodging then he just falls off in value. You'll always get a better result most of the time if you replace him from his team which is also a problem with Kokomi but since she can abuse Clam and Hydro she isn't as replaceable as him. This abyss is specific is very good for Kokomi more then Zhongli. She's hydro and can literally make you immortal. Insanely good for the first chamber. More over she can use TTDS for support or PA or Inazuma and Sumeru catalyst for support. I say this as someone who has Zhongli and doesn't have Kokomi. I pulled for him just because I'm an Archon collecter.
Zhongli would always be over Kokomi every day every time, Zhongli forms a core part of the top dps team, is it neuvillette, Zhongli is his best option, is it hutao, Zhongli is the best option, is it lyney or wrioteshley or alhaitham or Yae, or Xiao or Ganyu etc he works and forms a core part of every strong dps in the game except for Ayaka,Cyno,childe or ayato
In recent abyss, we see that interruption to resistance is still more valuable than single target healing, if you want to enjoy and play all fointaine dps optimally, you need Zhongli, Kokomi primarily works in Ayaka freeze and nilou bloom teams, and all the things you mentioned about using ttds and totm is only useful for Ayaka, she doesnt work well with hutao, Xiao, every single fointaine dps don’t need her, so I don’t see her above Zhongli
@@Konomidebanshouwashikisesurenemies in the abyss like concencrated beasts, recent fatui agents, those enemies from the chasm, need interruption to resistance to counter them, a good shield is even good against the coppelia boss, so that she doesn’t stagger you around, and a lot of dps lack interruption to resistance or a good defense that is why Zhongli is more preferred than Kokomi, without Zhongli, lyney is kinda meh, same goes for hutao and other Fontaine dpses, even neuvillette needs that shield at c0, so that his combos don’t get interrupted
And there are just overall better hydro appliers than her, Furina is better and also has aoe, while providing a long buff and higher damage to the team
I've been using Kazuha in the abyss ever since I've got him, and the CC is very valuable in the abyss.
I strongly disagree with 2nd place. Going for Furina isn't a good choice specially when you're talking about new players. Furina is meant to be a buffer for end game players (Ar 55-60). It's really hard to get her fanfare stacks without an AOE healer and almost impossible at low AR. Honestly, everyone her will prefer going for Yelan cuz she fits in so many different team comps, works as a buffer and is very easy to play.
That is a good point, but don't forget that we all get a free AOE healer, Barbara. And furina is useful for new players as well because she can provide good dmg with her pets, make exploration easier, and she can allow you to only farm one set in the early game. So you can save your resources in farming different sets after you reach ar50
@@D1FENIX No one will ever recommend to build Barbara, her healing, she doesn't generate energy for her team (unless you have a Fav Codex) and is least optimal choice. Baizhu, Jean and Charlotte are the character with whom she really shines for stacking up fanfare easily. Farming set can be a good choice but this won't be as optimal as Emblem domain cuz most of the character in game can use and not to mention Shimenawa 2 piece is also very universal since most of the character in game still scale off their base attack.
Barbara in some cases will be the only healer for some accounts, so she is not completely bad. I never built Barbara because I got lucky and Bennet was my first 4*, but here in the comments I saw people already saying that Prototype amber + Er Sands does the job on her.
The emblem is good for sure, but for new players what they will look for is DMG, because that's what will be lacking in the beginning, so a domain that helps any on field DPS is probably the better choice for those players.
I took a 6 months pause of genshin now I am back, the meta has changed so much, thank you for your video very valuable

as a player with not so good luck on my side, you can took my advice since I'm also f2p and this advice is the one that good even tho c0, and by no chance I can top up seeing that my luck can bring me to be mona irl XDD
1. archons, seriously, all archons are useful, you can't go wrong with them, even venti is still by far the best black hole and f2p friendly, you can also make him sub dps too :D
2. neuvillette, so far he's the only chara that we can aced in floor 12 on abyss even with cheap build and craftable weapon, you won't regret pulling him, the downside is his best arte can be unlock if you went to fountaine, I guess many charas also like that
3. alhaitham, boy can make easy build and f2p friendly, he also not too hard and his mechanic is unique and pretty good at damage
4. ayaka, she's the best in frozen team, f2p friendly too, even the craftable weapon in inazuma can do if you don't have any other, mine does blackliff tho XD
5. kazuha, like seriously, one of the best support in the game, gogogaga with em and voila your team can killing fast
6. yelan, she's doing great as both sub dps and dps, she's strong and her build is also f2p friendly, can fitting in many comp just like kazuha, won't regret pulled her up
this is a basic 5 limited star that I think will definitely helping in all team, the rest can be obtained as you wish, what mine did is the most important one, since if you at least have this with your best build, you can aced abyss at least up to 11 with full stars, this video's choice is also good tbh, all in all it's up to which chara that we wanted and how lucky we can get, even up to this point I failed to get furina, lose rate in that, but I definitely will get her in her rerun XDD

if ur new player and u see people say xingqiu is equivalent to yelan and yet u get her for free.. trust me xingqiu needs c6 to be even compared with yelan and yelan is super ez to build for new players just slap hp and give her fav
So uh...new players, as you can see on the list, only three are onfield dpses, most are sub-dpses
This is a supports meta game, supports always have more value

pulling for zhongli and neuvilette was the best decision ever! the game has become much easier honestly!

ayaka is hard to recommand for new players espically for mobile
Fontaine doesn't have that many 5* characters for now
Lyney is focused for mono pyro teams, already keeping his potential around Bennett at least (for buff and heal). But you will also need a good shield, something a new player will have a hard time getting.
Wriothesley is a character that I have on a new account that I created just to make sure I would get him, forcing me to use a f2p team. And I can say without any doubts that he is not good for F2P or new players. Unfortunately he is someone locked behind constellations (C1 mostly), and his f2p melt team is way harder to play. Making him already not a good pick for F2P or New player.
And Furina and Neuvillete are on the list, and even tho Neuvillete is the best DPS on the game, a support like furina will be more valuable while you progress to the game because support will always be more valuable.
Lol ayaka is easier and does better dmg than wriothesley
Bad idea to suggest Furina early on when an account only has Barbara for healers. She is Abyss only/Veteran only

Her summons are strong enough to kill open world enemies(just summon them and keep dodging they will take care)
And her summons also randomly hit boxes and solves sumeru & Inazuma puzzles
She helps in solving Fontaine puzzles
Don't underestimate her
Unless she runs with Charlotte on the banner...

IMO if you're a new player thinking who to get as 1st 5 star I would say Raiden, cause she opens up a lot of strong, easy to play and f2p friendly teams the comfort she gives is just too much. She's also easy to build early on compared to other meta picks since she's from Inazuma, Plus her Artifact Domain is the best domain you should farm early on after getting your NO and VV pieces so building her is also building her teammates like xingqui and xiangling. the 2nd one to get I would say is Kazuha or Yelan depends if you got Sucrose and built her. With Yelan you could run RaidenNational as 1st team and Sucrose Yelan fischl taser team as your 2nd. After that you could literally think who you want to build next go for Kazuha for a better overall anemo support or Nahida if you want to build dendro teams next. This is only my personal take on the best progression a new player could do to make a strong start while efficiently using your resources like your resins.

if its ayaka, i will rather choose Ganyu or Wrio, because they are flexible and very easy to use. also Ayaka's best team consist of 5stars in the game, it will be difficult for new players to catch up their reruns or worst they could be confused which to choose since its double banners.
Finally, you use the right term. "Ayaka best team".
Yes, her best team requires 5*, but she can work with 4* perfectly for new players. Ganyu is straight up easier to use but also comes at the cost of more boring gameplay and other demands.
Wriothesley I would not recommend it, as someone who created a secondary account just for him, I can say that he absolutely needs C1 and a good team to work well. Or else you will have a hard time playing him.
That before furina release , after furina her best team is ayaka furina Charlotte kazuha , and yeah this team have 3 5 stars but those 2 5 stars are recommended to get anyway
I regret pulling Ayaka. So much dependence on good artefacts and 5star swords, and is very clunky to play with that burst of hers.
@@r.d.6290 with 4p Blizzard you just need to focus on Crit dmg, atk and ER.
And for swords you don't need 5* swords you have 2 craftables amazing for her.
Ayaka is fun to play when you get her built right and her OP weapon.
Should have included furina along with yelan.
Cuz she not does almost equal to greater dmg than yelan but also buffs all ur team.
Hu tao , xq , furina , jean teams clears faster than hu tao, xq , yelan , zhongli
And also while using bursts or character skills yelan burst cant ve procced so we can get 5-6 sec dps loss every round. But furina summons attack automatically they dont need ca or na atks to proc. This enables her to be in xiao , keqing, nuevelette teams etc..
End of the day it all doesn't matters so enjoy yourselves ❤

Xiao and Wanderer are not worth it. I have played with both of them and Faruzan C6 makes a good difference, without her they are worse than the DPS I mentioned

strongly agree,my first 5 star was ayaka i adore her and play her everyday,but after i got nahida kazu and raiden the game suddenly provide me with so much teams to do and experiment,abyss is not an obstacle i often manage to clear it (not full stars yet but i still need to work on some artifacts and probably my lazyness and not trying more than 3 4 times is the reason),all regions are at 100% and i enjoy the game becouse after ar56 the game become so much easy to play with those arcons,recently got furina and now will focus on my c2 raiden,wish all of your viewers happy earlys in pulls and stay happy,oh and dont bully paimon too much^^

kokumi doesn't deserve that spot very much honestly she's still good but her new best team currently requires furina. she was bullied on release because she had no where to shine. her best team was sokukimon/soup which is a very hard and tight team to excute
Well, my account literally changed in clearing Abyss after I pulled Yelan and Kokomo.
Here's my opinion:
1. Kazuha
2. Nahida
3-6. Yelan or Childe or Neuv or Alhaitham
7. Furina
8. Venti
9. Baizhu
10. Koko
top 5 is really subjective. hard to say who's better because they are really strong. but i think nahida and furina is top 2 and 1. for me kazuha's worth slightly( i mean slightly) fell off after dendro was introduce.
yes, support characters are reallt valuable but for me my top 4( not in particular order) are nahida yelan raiden and furina. i have them on c2 with r1 weapon except furina.

I have some opinions on the placements if you don't mind me ranting in your comment section.
1. Personally I think that Ayaka should've gone into honorable mention.Especially for new players, Blizzard Strayer isn't the artifact set I'd recommend them farm, and unless they've completed Dragonspine, they are unable to farm the artifact set in Co-op. Also, she suffers from wanting 2 hydros (similar to hu tao) when many people end up only having two and wanting one on both sides of spiral abyss. I, for one, didn't get Xingqiu until I bought him at AR 50 and I still don't have bennett coz my bad luck. Also, new players won't have the free Lynette and Anemo traveler is not the best cc - especially for freeze teams. This forces the only cc character new players will possibly have (sucrose who I also don't have yet I have c6 collei and xiangling) onto Ayaka's team.
2. Kokomi should've gone much higher in my opinion. There are an abundant of dps characters, but it's much less likely for Kokomi to get powercrept, and she literally has one of the most convenient freeze teams in her and Rosaria
3. Zhongli should've been lower. His shield is convenient and all, but is going in the wrong direction with Fontaine's hp drain, and healers just become so much more relevant.
I understand some of your points, but let me defend some things:
- Even tho your point on the artefact is valid. I do believe most players are going to dragon spine before other regions, and even if they don't, you can actually get away with other set like berserker or even use random pieces, they will just nedd to focus on more crit rate. The only downside of Ayaka is the Sakura blossoms being on Inazuma. And about the other points, Ayaka actually prefers 1 cryo (for battery), then 1 hydro and 1 anemo. Because her DMG comes more from the ultimate so a cryo battery will help. And about the Lynette, every new player gets Lynette for free at AR25, no matter if you started playing last month or next year. She will always be free for new accounts at AR25 (which is not that hard since in the beginning you gain a lot of XP).
- About Kokomi, I think her value for a player account will be way higher than most dps on the game. Healers and supports will always be more important for someone to have on an account. And someone like Kokomi, who can fit in almost every team, is way more valuable than most dps of the game.
- And about Zhongli, he is at 6th specially because of the same thing you mentioned. Shields are getting more and more oppressed and healers are getting more value. That was the main reason why he is only on the 6th

How can you be AR 50 and not have bennett? The 4.0 event handed a free copy and you can also get him from the shop twice a year.
@@user-xo9zl7yb5d some people are just unlucky on Gacha, and don't have time to do the events and save starglitter for even more pulls. Idk if that's what happened but we can't judged. I am AR59 and I don't have sucrose and Chongyun still
@@user-xo9zl7yb5d XD I missed the event due to HSR hype and being obsessed with it, and I don't like using my starglitter in case I need to use it for extra wishes on a character I really want. Also I'm banking on the fact that I could still always get him with decent rng.
I have arlecchino, raiden and kazuha only. Please suggest some teams to build around raiden and arle for abyss( i have the necessary 4 stars for it like xingqiu, xiangling, Bennett, sucrose). Also should i wait for zhongli in 5.0 or 5.1 or should i pull for furina now?? It is a tough decision 😢
For Arlecchino you can make mono Pyro (arlecchino / Kazuha / Bennett / Xiangling), vape (Arlecchino / Xingqiu or Candace C6 / Bennett / Kazuha or Sucrose)
For Raiden you can make National team (Raiden / Bennett / Xingqiu and Xiangling) or hyperbloom (Raiden / Yao Yao or Kirara / Dendro MC and Xingqiu or any hydro applicator) or maybe a Aggravate team (Raiden / Sucrose or Kazuha / Dendro Mc or Kirara and Fischl)

In terms of pull priority, Furina is way more valueble than Zhongli, and in your case, she could be a replacement for Xingqiu in one of your teams, allowing him to be run on the other half. But you need to remember she needs a healer to stack her buffs. If you seem to be struggling with survivability, Zhongli might be the best choice for you because of his strongs shields.
Its up to what you need the most atm, but remember, fun > meta. Pull for who you like over meta, because it will be your love for the characters that will keep you on the game

@@lisaextracool I got wanderer at 20 putty without being guaranteed on his last rerun. And I mainly use him for exploration. But I will try him on abyss once I get my faruzan and Mika built since I'm going to use him with Furina, but if I don't like it I will just go the original wanderer build with Bennet Faruzan and Zhongli

But I just don't know if I will like it because wanderer really needs a shield or else he is always getting interrupted hahaha. But I will try once I get those 2 leveled up and built.
Mika is already in the work since I already have everything pre farmed for Navia (so I have 2 weeks to focus on him and other characters)
It's really fun to play hutao in C0 coz C1 is a cheat code and no struggle

I'm a f2p player that started 3 months ago and I'm unsure who to pick between Furina and Ayaka. I don't think I can get 6 5* in the next 7 months - assuming they all run in this period.
I really want Raiden, Kazuha, Nahida and Yelan since they seem to be the best for their elements.
If I get Furina, then I don't have any dps. Also I won't have kokomi or jean.
If I get Ayaka, not only I'll be missing the best buffer in the game, but seems that Ayaka is mostly used in freeze/monocryo and has 7% abyss usage.
My goal is to do well in the abyss. I still at floor 4-3 because of the advice to not build too many chars at once. I decided to try to build only top tier chars. So I only built Bennet, Xiangling, Mona and Kaeya (as I had no chars early on). I got Diluc but I didn't build him because it seemed uncool to have 3pyro on the team :)
It abyss doable without any top tier dps? Would leveling normal attacks on Yelan or Raiden and having them on field be enough? All those would be c0 without fancy weapons.

Regarding your first question about who to pick. In the early game a DPS can be more valuable because in the beginning it's hard to deal good DMG. Buffers/supports like furina are also good to have in the beginning but they become more important as you progress to the game. Furina besides being a buffer, actually does good DMG with her pets, but never at the same level as a DPS. So, in early game I would advise Ayaka for you. Furina will eventually get more reruns than Ayaka because archons seem to have reruns faster. And it doesn't matter if you see low usage on characters on the abyss. Sometimes abyss doesn't help some characters in general but most of the times it's because people are hyped with new characters so they decide to use them.
And about your second question, yes! It's totally possible to clear the abyss with characters that are not even in the meta. I know people who finish abyss with 4* for example.
Leveling up the basics on Yelan will be valuable only if you plan on doing her charge atk a lot. And with Raiden you don't need to because the attacks she does on her burst are considered burst DMG. It's only worth it on Raiden if you somehow are trying a meme physical build (which is not that viable).

Realistically, as a new player you should just invest in whoever you like.
In terms of "good" or "bad " characters this is in terms of Meta and only really applies to spiral abyss which is more of an end game first. All the characters will do fine for the main game with some investment.
This is your game and you should play who you like. Only focus on Meta if you want to do spiral abyss which honestly isn't necessary and is optional

Dont level yelan or raidens NA talent, that's a waste of valuable resources
It's hard to make that pick for someone else. If you go for Furina, you could always build your free copy of Barbara as a healer if needed. Or you combine her with Bennett, although it will be harder to maximise your fanfare stacks with him, especially at C0. Of course you can also wait for a Baizhu and/or Kokomi rerun to give her that healing boost you need. She works with Noelle as well, so you will find a spot for Furina. Your best Furina weapon is probably a Favonius sword or the free Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (fishing weapon from Fontaine).
If you go for Ayaka, you can use Mona, Kaeya, and any anemo character (Lynette is a free option, Kazuha and Venti are the best options) for a team. Sure, you can improve the team with premium characters, but the core is functional. You can even get a bit of healing if you give Mona a Prototype Amber. You have a strong budget version of her team already. Plus, you can craft a fine sword for her: Amenoma Kageuchi.
If you pick Furina, she about 2 cracked units worth of buffing, but requires an extra slot for a healer (Prototype Amber does not heal enough). If that healer does more for the team than just healing, your DPS will go up. If not, you could replace her with Xingqiu/Yelan and a buffer for a more well-rounded team. Furina does make your team more squishy as well, so keep that in mind. Furina is amazing, but you don't have to fear that your account is doomed with only Yelan and Xingqiu for hydro, especially since you have Mona as well. Do remember to pick up a Xingqiu from the starglitter shop or the Lantern Rite though, regardless of whether you end up wishing for Furina or not.
If you pick Ayaka, you are committing to a cryo DPS for a freeze team (or mono cryo). Know that you can clear the abyss without ever touching a cryo character, and that bosses cannot be frozen (which reduces your crit rate from blizzard strayer). If knowing that does not scare you away from Ayaka, she will not disappoint.
There are tricks to do the abyss without top tier DPS characters. Note that I haven't beaten floor 12 yet, but what I'm about to say should be accurate.
One thing you can do is run hyperbloom on the floor with fewer enemies. Hyperbloom can be potent enough to clear any single to few target content, even if your team consists of 4 star characters.
For the other side there are often options such as Bennett, Xiangling, an anemo character (preferably Sucrose or Kazuha, Venti works too), and a hydro character. to Your damage is dealt through the vaporize reaction combined with swirls. An all 4 star option is Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett, Sucrose. Note that the elements that work well differ from abyss to abyss, so you can't always rely on your go to teams. That's why some elemental spread between hydro, dendro, electro, anemo, and pyro is key to success in this game. Note that Sucrose and/or Kazuha should be enough anemo for most players (Venti is an option too). Cryo can be a great sixth element for some content, but it is possible to skip it (from what I've heard). Geo and physical are an option as well, but there's no need for fomo if you build none throughout your Genshin career (other than maybe Zhonghli if you need a strong shielder).
Guys pls help, I am a new player started in mid November now AR 35 (really upset for missing such good banners like neuvillite).
Got lucky and got furina in first 10 pulls, but on thr other hand I dont have a single healer except barbara😢. Now I am at 83 pity and was able to save 50 fates in the past 6 days. I am sure of going for raiden but a little skeptical seeing the comments about Ayaka .Pls advice should i just go for raiden and dave the primos for future banners or pull bothe ayaka and raiden.
My personal advice, go for Raiden, save the rest.
Barbara can work with furina so don't stress it too much. And since you are decided to go for Raiden, save the rest for other characters. New releases like Neuvillette or Wriothesley always get reruns before the end of the region.

you forgot to mention that raiden’s f2p weapon is locked behind the absolute worst demonic trash mechanic in genshin… fishing… there is literally only one place you can get the fish for “the catch” and you cant farm it in one day.
That's true, but it's not an excuse tbh. Furina's best f2p sword is also from fishing, and you also need to wait for it to be fully refined.

Technically Furina's best f2p is Fastering Desire, but I'm glad you understand what I was saying hahaha.
The fishing weapons have one thing that any other weapon has.
They only cost your patience and time to refine, no billets or pulls for that like the others. So as long as you are dedicated and have patience to fish you will have a solid weapon without wasting wishes or resources.
I wish I had the time you imagine I have hahaha. Believe me, if I didn't have a life outside Genshin, my videos would be posted way quicker. But unfortunately a man needs to work and sometimes needs to play the basic 30 minutes only for day because there is not time for more.
You are free to do whatever you want with your account. If you don't wanna fish don't. But if you are trying to get the best from your character as an f2p you kinda don't get to pick and choose. So you need to play with what you have. And having a cracked weapon completely for free that you just need to fish is a win for me. Also, you are not forced to rush it. I took my time way before getting her. Because as a total F2P at the time I was not going to ignore the fact that I had one of Raiden best weapons for free.
You don't need to rush for the weapon and refinements right away. Take your time, but saying that needing to fish for the weapon is a bad thing instead of saying that you are getting a cracked f2p option is kinda exaggerated.
hmm out of this list i only have kazuha(was my first pull as im a 3.6 joiner) and yelan. want to pull for some more dps's so will try to get ayaka and raiden in 4.3 and maybe yoimiya as i like her design. nahida and furina are probaby the only 2 supports i still want and maybe zhongli somtime in the future.

so your reason for leaving out Baizhu is that he is dendro focused, but Alhaitham and Nahida make the list even though they are also dendro focused? And also, you called Dendro the weakest element in single target. Such misinformation earned you "Don't Recommend Channel."

Alhaitam is the best DPS for dendro teams, nahida the best support. Baizhu is a healer focused on dendro teams, and totally focuses on it since his passives boost dendro reactions. And while Alhaitam and Nahida are pretty much irreplaceable, Baizhu is not a must because you have other dendro healers/shielders, he almost only becomes a must if you plan on doing an dendro team with furina.
And regarding the single target, I don't remember what I said because it's already a while since I recorded this, but what I meant is that dendro is the weakest solo element.

Ganyu charged attack is boring but neuvillete's charged attack is not boring because he's strong and hydro🤔
Yeah because Ganyu can't move around as quick as Neuvillette in his charged attack and his charged attack is beam which can hit multiple enemies. Plus his animations are way cooler.

My current team is keqing, jean, furina and bennett. I will swap jean with nahida once i get her since i have guarentted pity and i got ayaka in her last rerun
I advise you on switching Bennet instead, and then you do a quick bloom team with Keqing, Nahida, Furina and Jean.
Just my suggestion tho, play with who you like the most!
Hey everyone, I'm F2P and I started almost 2 months ago and now I am AR39. Still no 5* yet but I'm waiting for Ayaka and Raidens rerun next patch. Any advice on which DPS to pick please 😊
Go for raiden, ayaka needs premium team consisting all 5 star
Raiden will be more valuable in the long run. Ayaka I would just recommend if you are lacking DMG.
And with Ayaka you will be stuck to freeze teams. Raiden will be useful in a lot of scenarios

You can get away with a lot of 4* characters like Diona, Rosaria, Xingqiu, Sucrose and Lynette.
And just like I said on the video, you can make her work just with the free characters the game gives you. It will not be her best team ofc, but for the early game it will do just fine.
For new player imo raiden is better because she has variety of 4 star teams like
National w/ xinqiu bennet xiangling (these three can be purchased on the shop)
Hyperbloom w/ barbara dendro traveller collei (full free char)
Aggravate w/ fischl lynette yao-yao (fischl on the shop, yao-yao free at version 4.4)
Etc. And these teams isn't fixed, you can mixed and match with character you have.
But i recommend you to see whose play style you prefer through trial characters, youtube guide, or abyss run and pull for whoever you like the most. Good luck 👍
Ayaka is a little harder and you know but raiden is the best for f2p cuz she has best f2p weapon just by fishing best artifact set that can use for almost all characters emblem and best f2p team national the are all 4* and really easy to lvl up that all is imo ok if you love ayaka most pull for her

BS. Xing Qiu is all you need for Hu Tao and while she's not even on the list Ayaka is?!? As for Raiden especially at C0 call me crazy but even putting her in the honorable mentions may be too high, she does no dmg and electro is only usefull for dendro making even Kuki at least on par with her as at least she can heal.
Hutao prefers 2 hydro, both for more hydro app and for hydro resonance. For some reason her best teams are either:
-> Xingqiu - Yelan - Zhongli
-> Xingqiu - Furina - Jean
And it's preferable for Xingqiu to be C6
Like I said on the video, Ayaka can have a team already based only with free characters.
And regarding Raiden, if you think people only use her for the element you are wrong. Raiden at C0 is not a DPS, it's a fact. But archons have their kits focused towards support capabilities. If you think a good characters needs to have good numbers you are wrong. Characters with good support capabilities will always be way better than any DPS you may find, thats why you don't see Neuvillette better than 7th place.
If you like to only see DMG on your screen it's fine by me. But the best characters are not define by a big number but more from what they provide to the whole team.

And like I said on the video, Ayaka gets already a functional team with only F2P characters. Kaeya can serve as a battery and sub DPS, Barbara for healing and hydro app, and Lynette for VV.
Meanwhile Hutao? The only 4 stars you see her running with are Xingqiu and sometimes Thoma. Even tho she can also get away with some 4*, you will barely see them with her

Second topic, the 4* you selected for hutao are some of the worst decisions imo. Hutao plus 2 healers? Amber? Only Fischl from all you said can work but is still not recommended unless you wanna use more stamina running around enemies after overload.
Hutao will need 2 hydro and a shielder, Zhongli is the best one. But Thoma is not a bad pick because it also gives ATK due to pyro resonance.
And your argument of only using Hutao and Xingqiu may be valid in some abyss, but normally unless you have cons for both of them, it's almost impossible to do it with only those 2.
Less than 1 mounth , i got xinqiu /xiangling and fishl (very lucky perma pull (20 pull) ans Noël baner ) so i just need one solid main dps now with good infuse , yae miko was an option but 4 star in banner are not good (i got yaoyao in festival lanterne, Xinjiang 😅...and ninwuang need some constellation to be fine to play , if i loose the 50/50 its dramatic.... I can't take that risk 😂.
No doubt everyone needs neuvillate to solo the abyess 😂
Neuvillette straight up the best DPS in the game. But he is still not as valuable as other supports haha

Neuvillette is good yes, but you will always need support in case you want him to do his best numbers possible or to buff and help other DPS characters. Remember that when Natlan launches the abyss will probably be mostly with hydro and cryo enemies, and Neuvillette will not help that much.

Barbara. 2 hydro gives more HP for both of them. And Barbara also has nuke healing and healing over time for the active character

Besides, since both are hydro, furina helps Barbara with some particles too.

About furina, my furina has 174 er (HP sword, ER Sands) and I have my ult relatively soon even with her being the only hydro
Imo Ayaka is no 2 after Neuvillette.
Her 4 pc blizzard set gives 40 CR so it gives you leniency
She herself ascends with CD, giving you CD 88.4% at level 90 That's significant!
She literally has a forgeable weapon as one of the best suited, which gives Atk % and Energy recharge, so more freedom on artifacts
If you can farm a decent Blizzard set then go for her.
Apart from that, she can freeze enemies when paired with hydro.
Exploration bonus! What else do i need?

If I was a f2p I would never do it, because I prefer having a lot of characters instead of having 1 or 2 super broken. I will end up doing the abyss no matter what. So might as well have fun with a lot of different teams. But that's preferences
Pull for who you like and if you dedicate enough on those characters you will do the abyss just fine!
ask if I have any 5-star characters from the Fontaine region still no problem clearing abyss floor 11/12? the list of characters I don't have owned my account such as Lyney Neuvillette Furina Wriothesley. but I have past region characters like Hyperbloom National Freeze on my account.
I was down with where you put ayaka and nuvi until you mentioned cons. With cons in mind ayaka should be above him due to her c2 and c4 making her more versatile. You can use her as a cryo enabler at c2 and then any team that wants defense shred wants to use her at c4.
But at C0, Neuvillette is the best DPS in the game. So new players or F2P ones that won't go for constellations will find him more valuable.
And each constellation for Neuvillette improves his DPS role even more. So even if we consider them both at C6, Neuvillette will be the best pick always.

no I don't have any constellations for neuvillette. And he is super easy to play no matter if he is your main character or not.
I will eventually go for C1 just because of the possibility of not needing to run 4 different elements on the team. But I've been using him on basically every abyss and he is not hard to play.
Yelan and Alhaitham are 2 of my best pull decisions.
And you are right thinking like that. Yelan will never disappoint and Alhaitam is the best dendro DPS of the game, and does everything amazingly well at C0!

Remember, these are not mandatory characters. They are just characters that will help you more than others. But with the right amount of dedication and time you can make everyone work!

I agree with the list. Simple rule: Archons are great (Venti is great just not higher floors of the Abyss anymore).
Ayaka is the best cryo DPS in the game right now.
Alhaitham is the #2 DPS in the game - and best dendro DPS
Kokomi is such a good healer and hydro applicator.
Nahida is a game-changing dendro applicator.
Zhongli is still great for surviving content. I think he's almost a must have for some weekly bosses like Raiden Shogun, the Guardian of the Oasis, the Celestial Narwhal and Scaramouche until you're super at dodging everything.
Neuvillette - I still don't have him, but anyone who can solo clear the Abyss is alright in my books.
Yelan's hydro application is amazing. She's even a decent DPS.
Raiden Shogun is probably the best electro character in the game. Raiden National is still one of my best Abyss teams.
Furina - I'm still getting used to her. I know she is great on paper, I just don't have the most practice with her.
Kazuha is my first 5* and he was game-changing. Crowd control, shield/resistance shred, and damage bonus, I almost never leave home without him.

You misunderstood what I was trying to say. Hutao needs 2 hydro, Ayaka can use 2 hydro. But Ayaka is top 10 because you can already use her with f2p characters and even tho her best team is 5* she will work with a 4* team.

Raiden is on the list with a more supportive role. She is the best battery of the game and she has 100% uptime on electro application. If you have C2 she will also be a burst DPS instead of a Burst Sub dps. But if you want her I do recommend her!

@@doishyu Raiden must be reruning soon since last time she had rerun with Ayato. And archons normally have more frequent reruns than other characters. But in terms of boosting your account value, even tho ayato fits every team, Raiden is more valuable
For me I'd put Nilou on 10th. Very underrated. Nilou bloom is very f2p friendly and easy to build compared to ayaka. And it will work so much better than forcing an f2p ayaka team. Saying she's niche is not valid anymore. You can beat any aoe content with Dendro Traveler+Barbara+collei. If u go for the other 5* in this top 10 like nahida and kokomi she gets even better. Can even beat ST too if u go for alhaitham or nahida cons.
It's f2p friendly but her max dmg potential it's locked behind her weapon and that 4* weapon who gives hp which is sad but works
i got nilou as my first 5 star and she is still level 30. ik im dumb but i dont understand her hydro plus dendro team synergy. can you explain? thanks
@@Sanatic14 after you use nilou skill (E-E-E or E-NA-NA-NA) every dendro core created by the team will explode almost instantly for a period of time. But for that to happen you need only hydro and dendro on the team.
And the best thing about nilou is that you just need to build her with HP and you don't need to level up talents. So, if you have her with a lot of HP and you fulfill the condition of only having hydro and dendro on the team, she will turn every dendro cores into literal bombs hahaha. Just be careful with survivability, you will need a healer because who ever is onfield will be taking DMG as well
Meanwhile me using: Hu Tao, Kazhua, Xingqiu, Zhongli .....
It works, but she prefers Xingqiu and Yelan for the hydro resonance and the DMG buff Yelan gives on top of the extra hydro app
raiden better than yelan, haitham and neuvi are three of the takes of all time

Yelan is just behind her because you can get Xingqiu easily

If u use raiden yelan/xinq xiang bennett u have 1 of the strongest teams in the game, 1/2 5* 2/3 4* cheap team and good dmg overall
neuv c0 can be better than raiden as dps but she is more valuable as sub dps support but even hypercarry raiden c2 is still very good
Hello im rank 46 rn im a f2p i got dehya (lost 5050) and Furina as 5 star and i honestly dont use dehya my team is c2 xingqiu , c1 xiangling , c0 furina and c2 fischl and as you can see i am lacking a lot of dmg
I wanted to pull ayaka because yk she can do lots of dmg and i got literally 0 dmg etc but when i read comments people somehow dont like her i still dont know why but anyways i really need a main dps because i cant do any domains/bosses without borrowing help from my friend and its kind of embarrassing
And i probably got enough for one 5 star pull (if i lose 50-50 im dead) should i pull for ayaka or raiden or if i cant get both who should i go for? Thanks 🫢 my current team is the only ones i built btw but if i get a main dps i'll be happy to build other 4 stars as long as i can get dmg
Ayaka is a great DPS in general. People are just hating on her because she is stuck in freeze teams, and freeze only works in mobs and not on bosses.
Raiden is an amazing support and sub DPS. She is the best battery of the game while having a decent sub DPS capability with her burst.
Ayaka will be super hard to use on bosses, but Raiden doesn't have the big damage you are quite looking for.
For these reasons, if you just can pick one of them I recommend Ayaka if you are really lacking DMG. And if you somehow get both you have your best scenario hahaha
And for Ayaka try to build an anemo character like sucrose/kazuha or Lynette if you really don't have her. And since you have furina you can use Charlotte as the healer for that team. So my recommendation for the Ayaka team is:
Ayaka - Furina - Kazu/Sucrose/Lynette - Charlotte

I can agree for the most part except Zhongli. He's easily replaceable once you get a proper healer and debuffer.
That's why he is only in 6th place. And even tho healers are more important nowadays with Furina, Zhongli will give you more comfort than any other character
@@D1FENIX Replaceability and low character strength aside, i can see a lot of newbies preferring to be invincible more than dealing maximum damage so i can see where you're coming from. I personally pull for characters that are more comfortable to play.

Slight changes to the list:
1. Kazuha, nahida, furina are a must pull no questions asked
2. If you pulled for nahida, alhaitham becomes unnecessary, yes he's good, but nahida does the same job in dendro teams and provides em increase on top of that, alhaitham may make up for the difference in dmg, but you can implement nahida in teams other than dendro like reverse melt and what not
3. The strongest solo dps in the game is Nevillette no doubt, but he still has a problem getting staggered... Plus when paired with a team, hu tao may be a pain to build and play but the reward is so massive it's not even funny, especially against boss enemies, and ayaka may be as good, but she needs a strong crowd controller and may not work against enemies that can't be frozen, but she excels against crowds if you have a good crowd controller (the best is kazuha)
I understand some of your topics, but I wanna clarify some things.
1. Yes you are right on that, that's why they are top 3
2. Alhaitam potential gets even better with nahida. He is not necessary, but she is a support for him. So, in my opinion, if people like to spread teams and already have nahida, Alhaitam will never disappoint
3. Neuvillette gets interrupted only by big enemies and big attacks (ex: Ruin Guard) and since he has range and moves around you are going to be safe from it normally. But ofc, having a shielder or C1 gives you comfort
@@D1FENIX for beginners, i believe nahida is a better choice since she's easier to build, but i can't deny how good alhaitham is in dendro teams late game, nahida may be more flexible since she doesn't require on field treatment all the time, but alhaitham is just a better dmg dealer no doubt
In the end, you can pull both of them and build a perfect team no problem, but ofc i was talking about efficiency in early game pulls
@@fengsanlian6514 I was someone who skipped nahida at 3.2 and got Alhaitam on his launch. I can guarantee he was a legend even without nahida. But after nahida he was my best DPS until I got Neuvillette.
But yeah, nahida is way better for new players that's why she is at 3rd place hahaha

I will never regret pulling Alhaitham instead of Kazuha. Al was my first 5 star dps and helped so much in dealing damage. And while Kazuha could help a lot too, he also made fights boring in my opinion.
Now if only I could pull Tighnari reliably...
Alhaitam is amazing for anyone that is lacking damage, especially at the beginning of the game.
Kazuha is for someone who is looking to improve their DPS damage even more (if he works with them ofc).

But don't forget, I don't really know when they will give Neuvillete a rerun. Just keep saving your primos with exploration, events and dailies and you will be able to get him

Iam an f2p started the game 30 days back my only 5* is furina and iam in ar 45. My current team is Furina,Kuki, Traveller dendro and Barbara. I feel like this team is not enough to advance more levels in the game can u suggest me which character to pull in upcoming banner. Seriously iam stuck in ar 45
Early game a DPS is needed, so I would recommend Ayaka and if you can try to get Raiden too

I put off Yoimiya for like a year or more. She’s one of my favorites now. Yelan, Kazuha, and Yae Miko too. I’m really starting to like Furina a lot. Still can’t stand Itto and Cyno.
My dream is to make Cyno a good character for my abyss team where he needs to do damage less than 75 seconds but it is hard
Are you using him on Quickbloom or just aggravate?
I don't have him unfortunately but just because of bad timing, I will eventually pull for him. And since his first day I thought he would be better in quickblooms. So if you are not trying this it's worth giving it a shot
And for what I'm aware of, his best team atm is:

@ on Quickbloom you will do damage both from aggravate and from hyperblooms. That's why his best team is the one I mentioned.

@@D1FENIX I barely use him anymore. I'd rather use nahida/yae or yae/alhaitham. Her off-field damage is unreal with dendro. Right now I'm using Furina/Jean/Yae/Nahida or Yoimiya. It's massive off-field damage.

1. If you want to save primos go with the 4stars National team
2. Yelan is MID
3. Furina’s kit makes your artifact farming friendlier. This alone makes her the best hydro support in game + her massive minion damage.
4. Just pick one 5star per element, get their cons build them up instead of building a lot of C0s.
5. Get the C2 or bust mentality, if you cant pull for C2 dont pull…why? Because most 5star powers are unlocked at C2…
6. No need to watch a 10minute video over this matter.

Why nobody mention about the audio?
Some people did mention my voice is a bit low. And I heard it by myself, but I also noticed that it changes depending on devices.
In my phone for example I can hear the video without headphones and I will hear it perfectly. But on some PC I can't

Regarding your question. In my opinion you should always prioritize fun over meta. This video was more towards new or f2p players that just want to have the best account as quickly as possible. I will always advise people to pull for characters they love even if a super good character is reruning after.
In resume, if you want to have a strong account asap, prioritize characters on this list. If you don't care about meta at all, take your time and pull for who you like. If in the future you want some characters on this list, then you go for them!
And about yoimiya, she works just like hutao, but she is a bit weaker unfortunately. But if you like her go for her without even questioning or listening others saying it's not worth it.

Yoimiya, kazuha, Bennett, Yun Jin (C6)
But she gets interrupted super easily and she can do decent DMG with vapes, a more new player friendly team you can use is:
Yoimiya, Bennett, Yelan, Zhongli
(you can replace Yelan with Xingqiu and with this, since xingqiu provides resistance to interruption, you can switch Zhongli or the shielder for an anemo support like Kazuha/sucrose/Lynette for example)

Kazuha seems to have a preference to get reruns before we go to a different nation. So maybe around 4.8?
But there is always the possibility of him reruning early.
I refused to pull for Neuville cuz im enjoying to much Childe gameplay, also Childe>Ayaka easy.
