Deep Purple is, was and always will be my go to band… I’m a 50’s child and grew up with the music of Deep Purple when it mattered most and it’s still relevant today. A lesser known song is ‘ Place in Line’ from their album’ Who do we think we are’ Check it out.

He's been slower for a while, his voice still works for songs like this but anything live from the Machine Head era wrecks his voice fast.

McBride did a very good Job on this one - but i still think that the Versions of Steve Morse are way way better....
McBride's sound is exactly what DP is about...And ofcourse RB back then...We love Steve but his sound was not in my opinion the correct one..
