David used to go to Art Shell Music on 48th Street in NY to get his horn repaired…I managed the guitar shop there. When I heard him playing, I’d go upstairs to say hello. He was as kind, talented and personable a person as you could ever meet! His unique sound always stood out, and his jazz licks were always tasteful, powerful and memorable. Bless you brother - Your music lives on!
