- With Chainsaw Man Chapter 167 flipping the internet on it's head. I couldn't think of a better time to talk about new gen's two strongest monsters going head to head.
So could Kaiju no 8 one punch his way through the greatest devil? Or is Denji about to walk someone else like a dog, for a change.

So my reasoning for why CSM has better healing than No. 8, is because after full body healing. Kafka explains that he’s very tired, will die if he continues to fight (which is one of the panels I show on screen). This implies, that although he can recover multiple limbs and take plenty of damage. Eventually his body would give out.
Compare this to Chainsaw Man? Who never shows any fatigue in the series, is called immortal multiple times, and preformed Kafka’s best healing feat- on steroids- by throwing his heart through the atmosphere (as opposed to the distance of a small room, like Number 8 did). Then I’d personally say? I think Chainsaw Man’s regen seems more potent/long lasting then number 8’s.
But Number 8 definitely did regen an entirely new body, which I probably should’ve made more clear in the video.

things are always about fights, honestly it'd be good to see animation crossovers that are just wholesome, i think kafka would just become his father figure teaching him how to act right, be happy without booba etc, with the added benefit that unlike the rest of his friends he won't die as easy and also has a heart made of monster so he gets it.
The best crossovers have the initial misunderstanding fight that everyone wants before interactions like that happen, tho more of that in general would be great.

Talking about instant regen that black chainsawman does like taking its heart out to form a new body, it is also shown in the kaiju no.8 series as when kafka fights general shinomiya
his core was gone from his body when general punched him and that core formed into a new body surprise attacking the general.
Still there is a lot of potential that kaiju no.8 might show further since on the fight between him and general, even in his gigantic form, his humanistic nature held back its potential power than may have been stronger than his current power.
Meaning that like Saitama, his power might not have a limit or is exponentially growing (like letting out your monstrous nature and not having ur humanistic nature to interfere).
Still they both have potential between them and the thing is they're both awesome characters with alot of uncovered mysteries within there backgrounds and powers

I actually looked into it for quite a while, before coming to the conclusion that it might be a pretty weird english translation misinterpretation.
Because No. 8 never directly stops anyone from healing. He just punches them in the face so much, that healing becomes more slow/hard/difficult.

And I know you said how Denji/Chainsaw man is faster than Kafka/Kaiju No 8 (Which I think is debateable), Kafka/Kaiju No 8 could just do to Denji/Chainsaw man what he did to Hoshina and catch his Chainsaws in his teeth and keep him stuck before punching him to smithereens. Also Kafka/Kaiju No 8 has regenerated from just his core/heart as well.

Also, The fight I was going to suggest was Shiki ichinose from Tougen anki and Shintarou Jagasaki from Jagaaan because both can make guns base weapons but both are underrated manga that don't have anime (Tougen anki is getting one next year tho) so I don't think you might know them well

Very accurate however for the fatigue Kaiju no 8 statement. I think that’s false. Kafkas multiple times has stated that he’s to old for it aswell as it affecting his real fatigue. If we’re putting the real chainsaw devil against the real kaiju no 8. I do believe that endurance would be much higher

I’m not sure how to actually scale any of the devils Chainsaw man beat. Because devils are only as strong as they are feared and nukes aren’t even in the top 10 fears. So we could say that the nuke devil could be a pushover just as easily as we can say was strong then the Tsar bomb.
I mean it seems in general that devils are as strong or stronger then the thing they represent when its a thing we can measure as seen with the typhoon devil being able to casually run through buildings make storms that yeet cars ect. This means at bare min chainsaw man true form should be equal to the strongest nukes we have

If you don’t mind switching it up from Anime/Manga vs Anime/Manga to Anime/Manga vs video game, I’d love to see Chainsaw Man vs V1 from Ultrakill. Base V1’s performance on the greatest capabilities and feats of the Ultrakill community, including glitches. (Glitches are valid in Ultrakill, at least most of the time.) Expand it to the theoretical maximum capabilities if necessary.
We’ve actually done this exact sort of thing recently, when we covered Gojo Vs Sans! And I definitely enjoyed covering the Anime Vs Video game aspect of it.

Expected chainsaw man to win
Pochita can be highballed to light speed or ftl. Theres a page where Pochita intercepted a spear by Makima using angel devil. The spear was depicted as a beam of light and it emits light too. If we high ball this feat we can say that spear attack was as fast as light thus scaling pochita to *possibly* FTL speed. the Falling Devil appeared ,she caused worldwide gravitational fluctuations by just merely existing on Earth, she wasn't even trying to cause that much destruction just trying to cook but just her sheer presence was causing worldwide damage.
and Fami had the falling devil as one of her pawns. She is Makima's sister who is likely weaker than Makima as she only starts her own plans after her sister got eaten and even questions how Nayuta (A weaker control devil) was able to mess up her plans.
Makima was able to square up against the Dark Devil pretty well even if she would have lost but manage to put up a fight against a Primal.
Nuclear weapons devil was under the War Devil's control, Pochita was able to defeat and eat it causing nuclear weapons to no longer exist, he also ate the devil that represented a star causing it to no longer exist as well.
Pochita alone was able to solo and fight against The 4 Horse women and the hybrids all at the same time, was able to severely damage War, and cause something in their group to no longer exist. Death devil, who is a horse woman, was stated to be the strongest and most feared devil, if that were true then she would be more powerful than primordial devils who were described as transcendent. Not to mention the fact that he kicked a hybrid through multiple skyscrapers using a point-blank kick with no build up added to it

This will all be a toss up and cemented that Kaiju no.8 slams once Kafka gets light speed reactions or relativistic feats directly from Kaiju no.2 main burst attack.
It’s just odd that someone like pochita is stated to be able tank nuclear attacks and yet he gets hurt by multi city block to town lvl attacks.

The low-ball for CSM is that Pochita ate the nuclear weapons devil, wich is stated by Yoru to be plural, meaning the nuclear weapons Devil should consist atleast of multiple or inummerable nukes like the Gun Devil. The Gun Devil for reference is millions of times the size of a gun and being made of them, due to its level of fear, meaning the same could apply for the Nuke Devil. The Devil should represent the fear of people, sp things like the Tsar Bomba should also be included, wich with its full yield scales to mountain level and ther should be numerous warheads.
And Pochita scales to the Primal fears, wich transcend Devils like it anyways. This is mountain to island level due to how many warheads and what kind they porbably are, like the Tsar Bomba.
Yoru even confirms this by saying "nuclear wepaons" plural in ch 98.
The mid-ball for CSM is that with how Devils mechanics and their fear amps work, is that when a devil has no fear they are as weak as the concept they represent, like with the Chicken Devil itself saying its as weak as a chicken. Devils grow in size and power with fear and consuming the flesh of stronger devils.
That also includes the includes the sun/star Devil that Pochita ate, wich resulted in the sky being devoid of stars and that in the calender in ch 71, there is no sunday in it. Meaning it was a star devil that was erased.
The base form of devils is as their concept themselves, as seen with every devil like with the Chicken Devil being stated as chicken level.
Fear amps allow Devils to grow massive, wich also should include the Star Devil as its mentioned in the same vain as Devils logically equal or above it in fear. The Gun DEvil even with 20% of its body is millions of times the mass of a normal gun. As the Gun Devil completely dwarfs trees that should be 10-20 meters tall when it stood still to shoot Makima.
With pure size then Pochita would also have to far surpass FTL to even fight it, or the simple fact Primal Devils transcend even what the star Devil being named as representing "a star and its light that breaks childrens minds". With the sun/star being talked about easily being the sun itself, since its been conceptually erased and Makima says she only still knows of a few Concepts and their exact names slowly fading from her mind.
Pochita reacted and moved faster than a light like attack, in the form of the 1000 years spear.
The Gun Devils attack was able to hit Makima from 500km away in one seconds, making that a mach 1469+ feat at only 20%, making its actual speed then being mach 7295. With this Gun Devil speed being a low-ball.
The Gun Devil is shown with order of travel and time frames given in the manga to travel from Hawaii to Canada in 0.4 seconds, wich is a 5000km+ distance. Depending on where it lands that would make it mach 30000-80000, wich is a upto nearly a tenth of the speed of light. And thats only travel speed and doesnt include combat speed wich is way higher as showcased with other feats should scale way higher.
Pochita also intercepted Makimas 100 year spear from inches away from Kobeni, wich is portrayed as a beam of light from a star. Makes sense, as Pochita would atleast have to fTl to fTL+ to be able feasibly decimate the sun/star Devil, that Pochita and Primal DEvils should transcend.
Pochita traveled from Hell to the human realm door in the space of a short conversation, wich in recent chapters is shown that each door holds its own realms/space, with the human world door leading to a universe-sized realms. Wich means these realms can be upto human realm sized and there are innumerable doors so going trough each to reach just one door. The Darkness Devil and other Primal Devils were also able to travel from one corner of another realm to the humans in Hell in a short time, but wasnt able dodge or blitz Makima.
This is confirmed by the line by Pingtsi, who has an information gathering ability that the Devils watching them are watching them from remote places in Hell.
Also another interpretation of high-balls for the verses, wich also doesnt inlcude the fact the Eternity/Infinity Devil created an infinite realm with its own space-time. It embodies the concept of Eternity and Infinity, as is shown by its true form and infinite 3D being equal to 4D. And the 4th dimension is time, when Eternity is infinite time itself
Primal Devils are stated as transcendant to normal Devils, by a character with an information gathering ability. Transcendance quite literally means to be of a higher spatial dimension/higher plane of existence. As normal devils already exist that can be considered 4D by their very nature and their feats that would make Primal Devils 4D-5D.

I think you might need to watch the video again. I think I literally say these words, almost verbatim, when talking about Denji getting one shot by Kafka.
