TRB 2022 Annual Meeting - Keynote USDOT Secretary Pete Buttigieg

U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg addressed the attendees of TRB’s 2022 Annual Meeting during the Chair’s Plenary Session. He discussed the importance of evidence-based science, along with economic strength, equity, policy, clean energy, road traffic safety, funding, and infrastructure.
He answered questions from TRB’s Executive Committee Chair Susan Shaheen of University of California, Berkeley and Vice Chair Nat Ford of Jacksonville Transportation Authority.
