- Carnival Mardi Gras port of call Amber Cove is beautiful! We booked a Carnival Excursion, La Casa En La Playa A Select Retreat. Momma and company took great care of us for the day. The drinks and lunch buffet are included and the service was the best we have experienced on a Carnival Excursion.

My daughter and I did the 555 for my birthday this past July. It was delicious very fulfilling and I will do it again on my cruise in May 2023. I’m sorry about the misunderstanding of the dress code for you. I had did my research as always before any new experience to make sure that I am well prepared so I don’t get embarrassed. I

Watched your Icon videos. Can't believe you started with your first cruise with RCCL with Icon. Even though it may be the most beautiful alot of vloggers reported the food was mediocre now that they are catering to kids and cheap fried food. Rccl doesn't have alot.of experience with fast food. Thank God. Like Carnival does. Loved your Emeril review. Describing each order and taste and spice factor. And Disney you didn't even describe food in Micheline Market and Marvel was mediocre. And with what Disney charges their food should be better. Also Rccl is NY fav. For entertainment and food. Soecilty restaurants with Wonderland, 150 Park place, and Giovanni. The only specialty I would book is Empire Room. Worth it. Yaddy said only go to Chops on Icon for lunch cheaper and better.
And on Icon everything is a ridiculous upcharge. The beds in Hideaway are 200.-600.00 Ridiculous. If you go on rccl go on Wonder. Or smaller I dependence of the Seas. I'll continue to watch and like. 😅

Weird… will double check our settings just in case. Yes, the drinks are all inclusive! They do have some specialty drinks you have to pay for, but for the most part any other drink is included!

I just don’t understand why the water looks so murky? I notice it also looks murky at the port by those cabanas that are right there …. I wonder if all the beaches are like that there ?
We were kinda surprised at it too! There is a bit of seaweed, and the bottom of the ocean isn’t nice and clean and perfect sand like in Grand Turk or even Cozumel. But that being said, the water was still really enjoyable, the service was good, and it’s a good time. Just don’t expect the crystal clear blue waters of other Caribbean stops

I have never been on a Carnival Cruise but hears - as one does - a “hairy chest” contest is part of Carnival’s regular activities. Myth?
They used to have that contest but unfortunately it’s been removed from the rotation. Too bad cause Abed would dominate that. Lol
Not a myth! They used to have hairy chest competitions on the Lido deck, but I believe they have discontinued them
I don't know how this is best excursion. Just a house, beach, and eating. I've been to so many places similar. The only unique excursion at Amber Cove seems to be the falls.
We looked at the Falls but decided to go with this one. It was our first time in Amber Cove, we’ll have to check out the waterfalls next time! Thanks for the tip!
