- Time to get the motor and trans set up in the Travelall build. Maybe this crossmember will stick around, time will tell! It works for mock up for sure!

That actually was PERFECT!!!! Simple, straight to the point and quick! Nice!
I once owned a 1968 International Crewcab pickup. In so many ways, I wish I still had it. All your great work has made me realize I had a great truck.
Sometimes even the most simple things no one will ever notice bother us the most. A little extra dressing never hurt anyone.
Listen to the inner you, man. Listen to the builder force within.
You're a dang good welder and fabricator.
Thanks!
At first I was like "what?! No speedhole???" Lol you didn't let me down, that really churched it up a lot! Looks great!
I’m really debating on replacing that crossmember with a different one.
@@PuddinsFabShop it looks way nicer now that you finished it with the sheet metal. It is your build tho, you have to be happy with it. The way I decide whether or not to redo something already did is to ask myself if I think it will still bother me 5 years from now. If so, redo. If not, leave it be.
Puddin it turned out very well there. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making God bless.
Another awesome informative video I wish I could do the things you do.
Nice! I like the tubing with the dimple die in the center flat stock.
looks great and saved a bunch of money win win
Thanks!
nice to see you back at it ., great job ,looks nice
Thanks!
Nice work, You make everything look so easy. I'm interested in seeing how you figure out the exhaust problem.
It is solved. Really simple to. Video soon. I’ll upload it Friday
I wish I'd had seen all these videos when they came out
Awesome work
another great show!
👊🏻👊🏻
The trans mount turned out sweet. Another great video👍👍
Thanks, I’m still not in love with it!
Looks awesome great work
Thanks!
Cross member looks sweet more strength in round tube
“Let the frame muffle it”. Bwahahahahaha! So I guess rerouting the exhaust or modifying the frame?
Definitely not modifying that beef cake frame lol
I think it turned out great
I'm surprised you used round tubing when rectangular tubing would look so much better. Round tubing always reminds me of the hillbilly's living out in the bush in Northern Saskatchewan who make things out of old metal bed frames. Other than your choice of material the fabrication looks awesome.
I agree with that rectangular would look better. I didn’t have any at the time. Round tubing is used by several automative manufacturing companies though. For me the hillbilly shit is angle iron. I’m still not convinced this crossmember will stay tho. I’ve acquired some rectangular tubing since building this one.
@@PuddinsFabShop the cross supports of old metal bed frames are made from angle iron...
I know that. I’ve never seen a round tubing bed frame. Lol
@@PuddinsFabShop man it came out pretty nice
Looks good
Killing it Jacob.
Thank you! 👊🏻
Good video man
I wish mine was that easy! Mark 4L 80e in my 61 Thunderbird unibody is a pain😢
Not cheesy at all!
Coming along
Tig, oh my! I need more tools
The precursor to crossmember 2.0.
Both got ditched when I boxed the chassis.
Cheesy!? that looked fine, but I like the finished product good work!
I’m a year late but catching up. Enjoy the videos
I love the Edna Project. If my mind works the same as a lot of other viewers I’d sure love to see the complete chronological playlist for this project. It might also help some future viewers to stay on the channel.
I find the Travelall a signature project for your channel and it is also your trademark.
Show the lady some dignity and give her the playlist. Maybe that would be something that your kids or wife could sort out for you? I mean, if you find that kind of administration of the channel boring. 😉
If you go to videos they’re uploaded in order. I do need to create one though. Maybe later!
Got ya one created!
@@PuddinsFabShop Thanks! You are freaking amazing! I hope you are having a lovely weekend with your loved ones.
I love that you seem to have a beautiful relationship with your dad too. You seem to have a lot of fun together. 🥰
Thanks for doing this. Watching series now.
👍
I wonder if anyone has made a framerail as part of the exhaust? I know it would corrode like crazy, but I like the "crazy" part! I think the crossmember came out clean and functional.
That would be crazy.
Going to have to put the puddin touch on that welding table. It’s way too short for you to work at
Dont beat yourself up. At the end of the day, it just has to hold the back of the transmission up.
I don’t beat myself up, just not happy with it lol
That'l do er!
This just gose to show that builds can be done by the average guy aslo on a real life budget.
Yes sir!
Can you make a video when you install the fuel pump.
Yep!
I'm surprised you didn't an urithane bushing between the mount and the tranny. Other than that looks great.
Did you use a truck oil pan.
Yes. Not need to worry about clearance issues when using the front frame as well
I would rather hear you commenting than music.
if i had kids and your skills i tell them here is the thing you are getting car for your birthday but it has to be between such and such years and you have to build it i’ll help you from chasey up
Is that motor a 5.3 or 6.0???
4.8
@@PuddinsFabShop that’s cool
@@PuddinsFabShop I love your videos bro keep up the good work I would like to run into you one day you seem like a really cool dude
Is it just me or does it look a little to the left
It is to the left. The drivetrain in a factory gm is set off towards the passenger side
thank god in your new videos you stopped saying “if that makes any sense”.
i get though im not nocking anything i know you want the very best for your girls and love them very deeply i get that you now need a boy lol someone who gona wana rench with you
