Congratulations 🥹
Super congrats ❤
Watched this clip and the full respiratory examination as I wanted to learn more about how to help my residents. I’m a nurse and need to be able to give as much info to the GP when I have any concerns or need them reviewed. After watching these videos, I was sounding a residents chest and was able to give a more descriptive account for the GP. Thought it was pleural effusion but obviously not qualified to make this call. GP attended and had same conclusion, but sent for X-ray to clarify as still concerned. Informed by hospital it was actually pneumothorax & treatment started immediately. If not for these clips I don’t think I’d have picked up on the difference as soon as we did. Thanks
When percussing, you shouldn't keep your dominant hand's finger at the end of the 2nd tap, it has to be just like knocking a door, otherwise you will dull the note and therefore inaccurate.
Helpful and impressive!!! Keep it up, Geeky medics...
It would be nice if there was notes on the respective areas of auscultation and percussion during each area is examined
Very helpful 👌🏻 thanks 🤍
