Exactly. Brooke knows as long as Taylor is around, her position with Ridge isn't completely secure because he loves having two women fighting over him. In a way both women were trying to change that tiresome dynamic. Brooke was trying to dismantle the love triangle by sending Taylor back to Morocco and Taylor was trying to place herself at the center of a love triangle by marrying Omar. But Ridge objected to both attempts and he's gotten the triangle he wants again with himself at the center.

Actually, I applaud Eric for admitting to that…because it seemed he did let Brooke take over their son. He willingly let Ridge become the other parent with Brooke. 😊

He spent more time complaining about the family not accepting Sheila, than he did talking about Eric Jr. His entire relationship with that child post divorce from Brooke happened off screen. Even Connor spent more time on screen with Eric Jr.
Ridge and Eric are so much alike.... Their attention span is only as good as their libido: until the next shiny sexy distraction comes along...

However, as Ridge said (and I can't believe I am actually quoting Ridge lol), the "Ridge being his brother but also father thing", was clearly something that was bothering Eric Jr as he grew older and understoos better his family dynamic. CJ's teasing about it was just the catalyst that brought it to the surface. And now that it's on the surface, the focus is erroneously on CJ, when it should be on what is Eric Jr's problem.
Well, this being a soap Brooke has no control over her parenting skills unless the “writers” care to do so? 😮

Stephanie is speaking for the comment section today. She literally uses our lines: how Brooke married her son's brother (17:19), how Brooke used the children to get Ridge (17:35), mocking Brooke's "the children need a father" line (17:40), mocking Eric's sidelined role in his son's life (18:03). I suspect this will happen more and more with Stephanie voicing our objections to Brad's writing and his dismantling of his father's story structure.
This episode was probably not written by Brad. I feel like he writes his way and another writer on another day, will have Stephanie or whoever, address what his boss tries to make us forget!

While Ridge is trying to "love" and figure out what to do about Rick, Brooke relieves him any true responsibility. She tells him he did nothing wrong, when in fact, the whole situation is messed up and they all played a role. Ridge pushed Eric away (like when he got the phone call a few episodes ago); Eric for taking a step back and Brooke for all of the above. It's ridiculous that Brooke gives Ridge and only uses him for sex, status and money.

the 2 minute encounter between Ronn Moss Ridge and Hunter Tylo Taylor showed more chemistry than the "forced" bed scene between him and KKL Brooke's in my opinion. I feel that the best chemistry KKL ever had was with Winsor Harmon's Thorne and Jack Wagner's Nick
If that were true the producers would not have made Brooke and Ridge a super couple for decades. These people are in business to make money. And couples with no chemistry get killed off. Ron Moss had chemistry with both actresses.

B&B misused a legal term. Burglary happens when a thief steals property while the victim/owner is away. The correct term should have been "intruder." This crazy man intruded into her home, held her a knifepoint and tried to rape Taylor. However, I expected a scene where Taylor came home to a ransacked place and scared the thief away without any major interaction. That's a burglary. So B&B, or whoever posted this, misled the viewers. The scene is a lot more scarier than described. Usually, it's the other way around.
Episode 247 when Lauren tells James she will tell him everything about Shelia March 20, 1995 should be the start of Season 9 and it should end March 22, 1996. I don't know why they haven't changed it over!

It is really long. Season 8 starts with episode 1752, that first aired in *March 1994* , but the current episode is already from *August 1995*

But Season 10 starts with episodes originally aired in September, 1996. Maybe they will put up a season 9 that then covers Sept. 1995-August 1996.
I believe these episodes now airing are already in what would be Season 9. The Bold and the Beautiful premiered March 23, 1987 so every year around that time a new year or season starts!
