    I hope you will continue to make these types of videos. My professor is good but for 3 hours a week it is hard to understand everything. To have these FREE videos to watch while studying at home that are so detailed it is wonderful. I feel so much more confident about my test now.

    Great video as always. One thing that helps me remember what operons function is to think of it as an On and off switch. Allowing or not allowing for the transcription of the genes that follow.

    Good for what you explained, but you only included an explanation of an inducible system. The mcat may also (or instead) have a question about an operator with a repressible system, which isn't simply the opposite of the example shown, and thus should have been explained.

      The video is titled lac operon, an inducible operon. If you wanted a repressible system you should have watched a video on one like the trp operon...? Your comment is harsh and unnecessary.
