  • Chef David shows you how to carefully deep fry a turkey in peanut oil for any Holiday.
    ****CAUTION VERY DANGEROUS****** FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
    ONLY OUTSIDE IN A CLEAR AREA
    Bring Oil 300 degrees •
    MAKE SURE YOU DONT OVER FILL THE OIL. GO TO THE OIL LINE ONLY
    Slowly place turkey in peanut oil with fire OFF •
    Once in turn fire back on •
    Cook for 50 minutes or 165 degrees •
    Turn off the fire and then slowly take out, poking holes to release any trapped oil •
    let rest for 15 minutes and the carve •

    Thanks for keeping it simple man! I'm hosting Thanksgiving for the first time with my family and YES deep fried turkey is the only way to go! Also my first time deep frying one.

    Yes, I agree growing up in Georgia I have a brother that would cook the turkey that method and it's delicious and juicy also stand outside in the cold yes it was cold that year it's get cold in the South I like cold weather anyway. 😊

    It does say 50 minutes in the description but he definitely does say 15 minutes during the video. 🤣 Either way looks like a good turkey

    This video is pretty useless if you don't say if the turkey is frozen or fully thawed.

      It has to be thawed or you can kill your self if it’s frozen
