Thanks dude. I bought one on clearance at Walmart. So when I opened of course no instructions. Also didn’t have the (4) screws. So I had some machine screws in the garage. I never throw screws away. Missing the turkey holder. I will just call the 800# for that. But thanks for the help.
Dammit! Where is the "How to cook a turkey video"? You were pretty through on the assembly of this and was hoping to have an idea on what cooking on this entails.
I know this is from two years ago, answering your question for those like me looking for the instructions on thanksgiving 2023 and forward. lol It will not leak, the threads have nothing to do with the end where the propane come out.
So its kind of a threaded rod, the threads are what the nut screws on to. You want to be able to see 3 threads (3 full twists of the nut) still exposed
I just brought one home from WM...48 bucks. These instructions make no sense, but you helped me get it ASSEMBLED. Not one word about electric start, or the TIMER! How the hell can you use the timer anyway? There are no numbers marked, but I HAVE to use it or it won’t fire!? And the starter: I’m pushing down on that button, but it’s not making a clicking sound like you would hear on a button.This thing makes no sense at all. Can you post the link when you actually used it? Thanks!
Also the pictures in the instructions show the burn and timer box pointing in opposite directions when tightened, (the burner opening points upwards and the box point downwards. However when I tighten the two tightly as instructed, my burner points to the right while the box points downward, this doesn’t seem right to me
You’re right. It’s a timer. And without it set, the heat will not work. Timer/heat switch would have been a better choice. Sorry for my mistake. Thank you sir.

The instructions say to “turn the burner clockwise tightly”... three threads remaining is not tightly... Furthermore “Proper connection is critical for correct operation of unit”.
I’ve tried calling the number provided, just to ask if it’s okay to loosen the burner 3/4ths of a full rotation so that the burner points upward, the representative did not no and just said they are a third party entity. I asked for the manufacture and they said they don’t know, it’s a Chinese manufacture and there was no other help I could get. I’m a Democrat but America First for this very reason... 0 potential accountability for a product is ridiculous
Julian, I’m having the same problem. What did you end up doing? My thread is much shorter than that of the video and when I fully tighten it sits perpendicular to burner.

My end was half as short as yours that screws into the burner. It wouldn't even tighten up at all. Had to send it back.

Yes crap directions 4 sure. VIDEO WAS GREAT. This is my 3rd fryer and have never had the issues with assemble.
Also Kyle, my same model number fryer only has 5 threads on that gold threaded piece... allowing three threads to remain showing is impossible
The instructions showed that the thermocouple should only go in for a 1/2 inch you shoved it all the way through.
