I Got the Blood Marrow Too but I Haven’t read it yet! It sounded so cool when I saw the author tiktoks, I also love how she drew the characters and there are a couple art pieces inside the book🥰

Brenda Jackson has been writing Black western romances forever. However, they are series contemporary romances, which I don't see you reading. But you should check into her. She has so many. She may lead you to some others.

Hey Shawnaci 💗 "Give me a sign" by Anna Sortino is a YA Romance about a camp for the Deaf and Blind and talks about Deaf culture! I think you would really enjoy it especially if you want to read more books about different cultures! 😊

Wonderful haul! (I was SO excited to see Dani Trujillo's 'Lizards Hold the Sun'--her books are so cozy and heartwarming, and I'm so excited to see her get more hype!) If you're still looking for more Black cowboy romances, Rebekah Weatherspoon's 'Cowboys of California' trilogy is so fun and sweet (with some spice, though). It's got a dynasty of Black rodeo/ranchers with a famous Black grandma/matriarch, and each of the books follows one of the 3 brothers and is very loosely themed around fairy tales (one of woman loses her shoe at a red carpet event, a la Cinderella, etc.).

Michelle Lindo-Rice has an ongoing series with small town vibes. It’s called seven brides for seven brothers. I think there are 3 books out. They’re very sweet. I think fade to black. The 7 brothers are all(?) adopted by black parents so there’s a mix of races.

They are great! The first one had some “evil woman” stuff(the second one too??) but i still really liked it so it must not have been that bad, i read them last year so don’t remember them super well..
