- Its a simple step by step video on what to do if you are facing problem regarding window glass on your car which gets stuck open or stuck close and not going up or down or it has become very slow going up or down
process is same for every car , we need to align the window channels correctly which got offtrack somehow so that it can roll up and down perfectly .

Thanks this is useful. Also recommend spraying wd40 On the inside part of glass channel helps to clean the dust and make movement smooth.
Yes sir , but avoid wd40 because wd40 can degrade certain type of rubber compounds , so instead of that you can use silicon spray

Hi Sir , nice video. Sir i would like to ask you two things..there was a safari dicor obd video in your channel 2 yrs ago..When you connected your obd how long did it take for the blinking to stop and weather you should turn the ignition on position till dashboard ligjts come or you need to turn the engine on to connect ecu? in my case no malfunction lamp turns on and off while turning key to on position..and i am unable to connect obd 2 to my phone even though its paired and the unit is getting power as a red light appears.Kindly need your advice.And also sir my obd came with a mini cd..and since my laptop does not have a cd drive, i have no clue whats in the cd.

Yes , sir , but as you can see in the start window was lifting from the backside and coming out of the channel , and in the end of video that lift got reduced . Along with lubrication a little adjustment was also needed

Yes sir , its a very common issue the plastic carrier which rides on the power channel gets wear down due to the plastic material and then it starts to show symptoms

Did the problem re occur? Coz i see still there is some problem glas moving sideways while going up. I have same problem and in my case there is only one channel not 3. But after various adjustment and trying everything it from channel lube everything in the pulley system itstill stuck out on the 3 inch on the top side. Nextis im gona try a silicone based lube in channel maybe a dense one that stays.
Sir then the chances are that , the window carrier is worn , as its made up of plastic and it rides on a metal part with the weight of the glass ,

Silicon spray will do it sir , if the channel rubber is intact , no need of replacement
Thanks man, this helped a lot. Question, any smart way to troubleshoot door open warning light? I couldn't find a switch on door, also found red wire connected inside the lock, so I guess it doesn't have separate switche for closing door mechanism. Any suggestions?
Sir its inbuilt into the locking mechanism , just check the connector ones , something corrosion buildup on connector can lead to issue like this , as those connectors sits inside the doors and water usually gets trapped inside and creates alot of humidity

Sir you have to adjust the wiper arms , problem will be solved ( if the wiper motor is not weak )

Sir car ke alloy wheel ke lug nuts hote hai unpe grease apply karke alloys wheels ko tight kar sakte hai..kyoki mere ek freind ki car ke lug nuts open hi nhi hue jisko kulwane mei bhot problem hui or alloys par bhi kafi deep scratch aa gye ???
2. agar grease use kar sakte hai toh konsi use kare i mean normal NLIG 3 grade grease ya High temperture grease

Sir to be very true , toyota is know for their extreme reliable image , and thats true , if you want peice of mind , then go for toyota but you have to settle for a little less tech features inside the vehicle than Aria . So the choice is completely yours .
@@yourDIYneeds Thanks for your quick and prompt reply sir. As far as I know, Aria uses same 2.2 Dicor engine that runs your Safari Dicor. If you have any personal experience with Aria, I would love to be educated with that. I just want to replace my innova with Aria coz it has 4X4 with some added comfort. Apart I already own a 2006 Innova used it for 2.25 lakh Kms till date without any single issue. Your point for toyota is absolutely right.
Sir technically aria and safari is same under the body , apart from cosmetics and tech features both are same
And if 4X4 is what you want then safari is a good option , just have a good look at the condition of the vehicle you are buying ( if you are considering a pre-owned vehicle ) safari's off-road abilities are tried and tested .
