My feedback:
In the future, battery life needs to be at least 6 hours.
The main mic needs to be relocated from the nose bridge to another part of the glasses. In phone calls people have mentioned I sound muffled or the call is going in and out, until I lift the glasses.
Love the AI integration. With over the air updates it will only get better and better. My favorite “Hey Meta, Take photo and send to XYZ”! Saves so much time!
Camera quality during the day is acceptable. Night time photos look horrible compared to a phone’s night mode (I tested it out).
In all, this is acceptable for the price with room to grow.
Amazing breakdown! I agree with all of them. I'm pretty satisfied with everything right now. Even the mic on the nose bridge wasn't too much of an issue maybe since my nose is shaped differently. I just really need the camera angle to be more to what we see. If we can get something that can turn horizontal too, that'll be ideal, but I don't think they'll work on that since they really want this to push socials like IG Live and Stories.
Are they able to get prescription lenses I am considering getting smart glasses however I want to get something that can replace my glasses.
Yes, Ray-Ban has a limited set of prescription glasses grades you have have installed upon purchase. If your grade is not there, they have a list of certified ophthalmologists that can install grades for you.
I’m still getting nauseous after 30 days of wearing my Meta Smart glasses. So I removed the lenses and my headache got better. I think the lenses are too thick of glasses. I really like the sound quality and great for phone calls.
I have that experience with other blue light glasses. Some lens thickness makes it difficult for certain people. Hopefully you can get the lenses replaced with something that works well for you!
Do they work with videos and other visible features without anything? If they do can it work with apple phones?
You'll need to have the meta view app activated on some phone to get the features activated and yes they will work on iPhones!
Wish battery was better and that’s my only complaint
I was happy with the trade off since I would not want a thicker stem. Hopefully the next generation will have even more efficient battery life!

- Do the transition lenses include blue light filtering?
- How does the audio hold up on city streets/biking/in public on sidewalks? I'm in Chicago and wonder if these would work for my day-to-day.

@@jeffins1239 out of all of the reviews I’ve seen you can have it all the way up in large crowds and in public. Halfway point is the sweet spot for quieter places without spillage. I’ve yet to receive mine but can update when I do
As mentioned, the transitions are not blue light, but should have some protection from harsh screen light. And audio, because it's open-ear, is not great for loud environments, but good enough for normal walking around! I use it all around in NYC, the only problem I usually encounter is loud subway trains.

Hi, interesting review!
Quick tip: try to improve on the audio mixing. The music is a bit loud at times, fades are a bit slow, the voice is not quite well leveled throught.
Audio is super important for this type of video, we need to understand what is being said. Vibes are secondary, haha

You are 💯 right! I shot this with 2 camera equipment with different mics and edited quickly. I was able to level the different cameras but still need to learn how to level everything together. Thank you so much for the comment still!
