You said conditions for flying were not ideal. Do you mean that the average paramotor pilot should probably avoid flying in these conditions, and only highly experienced pilots should attempt this flight? Just curious as to exactly how bad the conditions were. Were they just minor things or something a less experienced pilot should consider, and would you recommend they not fly in these conditions?

Just don't "Drive" on public roadways, and you should be all legal. If you did go on public roadway then you may use you have the right to travel and learn the legal definition of Driving

There will be someone who will try to prove it was more than 30 mins after sunset by light levels, or the time streetlights come on or some other BS. Some people have too much time on their hands.
Somehow I knew that even though it'd be close you'd be able to land EXACTLY 30 minutes after sunset. It's a stroke of luck that this is also what the rules say. Nicely done :D

You could do with some Landing Lights to make the approach more visible. The glare from the strobe must have been a bit annoying. How about red and green nav lights either side and a red strobe underneath?
He flew into a mall that is basically abandoned and will probably be destroyed. The Taco Bell is on the outskirts of the closed mall. The flight and drive though at TB was epic :)
Should probably invest in a night landing light for just in case, especially after watching that first landing. Love your videos dude, im starting paragliding in a few weeks after putting it off for 15 years because of you and your friends. We are blessed in SLC with amazing wind and amazing hills. Cameras are notoriously bad at recording at night, especially when there's a strobe killing the sensor. I believe it was sketch due to the winds more than the light. (Not a bad idea to add landing lights anyway, though)
I`ve heard that currently 6 pilots are officially allowed to start and land everywhere for testing which potentially will result in a general allowance.
In Germany you can fly over populated areas though which you can't in the US if I'm not mistaken. I think you have to be at least 300m (984ft) above the ground. I think the reasoning for both this and the no landing and takeoff anywhere rule are that Germany is much more densely populated so if you can't fly over populated areas there aren't a lot of places you'd be able to fly over
the way I've found to successfully eat a burrito supreme or crunch wrap is to simultaneously suck it as you bite in to it in order to keep the "squish" from moving around or to all over your lap. well done lad!

The other night I had a dream I won the contest to fly with you, and as we were flying, I was trying to take a selfie, and as I was, the wind got a bit too shaky… and then I saw my phone Plummet to the ground. I woke up and immediately had a sigh of relief. Also the only thing more ironic than having Taco Bell in a parasmotor… is drinking a Red Bull.

The problem with One Wheel is they won't let you fix a thing on it. They brick the device if you try to replace the battery. The electronics are very undersized, there is only one place that can repair them, and they have been lying on their shipping by not declaring the device as having lithium ion batteries which is a big risk for commercial aircraft and has resulted in FedEx banning them.
I love the crunchwrap except I get the black bean version which subs beans for the meat. Impressive that you didn't spill any. I always spill stuff eating with both hands. That video made it look really dark when you landed.

It's really neat the way your pulled a trikemobile out of your bag of tricks and WOW'd the attendant at Taco Bell. All of your encounters with people are so upbeat. Naturally you present your best material, but still it warms my soul to watch these videos. Just think: if the wind were twice as strong, you would have aimed southwestward, but landed northeastward in Montana reservoir! (Have I said too much? Didn't mean to.)
I think that's totally amazing that you were able to fly one handed eating a Taco bell crunch wrap and a burrito while flying your Paramotor at 2000ft and you didn't have your Taco bell crunch wrap and especially the burrito splattering all over the place... Congratulations, I couldn't even do that with two hands and several napkins while sitting on the ground👍🙂
Now with the legalities, I know how this feels. I own a 2007 Honda XR650R, it’s a straight up desert motocross bike. I “converted” it to be “street legal” (technically it’s not! It only passes if you look at it with a glance) So that gray area is kinda vague. They did give me a plate, all they cared about was brake lights!? But I get pulled over all the time cause it’s got number plates. Now, that being said, what would you need to get a plate on a trike? Literally the “driving car”. You would think the prop would be an issue, but then again DMV by me cared about one thing, does it have a brake light! Yes, ok here’s your plate.

That was exactly like my last landing, resulting in a hard landing, blown front tire, buckled front forks, & a forward somersault, ending upside-down. 😖 My phone died, so the time slot was unknown. A very uneasy feeling for sure, when the car headlights start to come on, & your bucking wind trying to make it back.
