- We have a very interesting matchup. After our korean mma lady couldn't finding any opponents, a guy stepped up to do an amateur mma match against her. Let's see how the match goes! Let us know what the guy did wrong in this match in the ground game! Also, make sure to watch the original and Face's explanation after the original generated some negative comments. Note: I felt it was unfair to just call him "Guy," so I added the word "Camo" since I mentioned how I didn't think dressing in Camo was the best thing for the cage.

It might be a loss on the amateur record, but it's a total win in the respect department! There is nothing to lose when you're a beginner against someone who's much more experienced, no matter the division. The guy showed true martial artist spirit, camaraderie and willingness to take punishment for the sake of learning and growing. If he keeps up this same attitude, he will go far🤝

She’s got a few months training. Streetbeefs literally match you up with opponents based on number of fights in the yard. Before that they ask how much time training you have. A person with 9 months of training could be put against someone with none. Also the type of training is questionable in general, someone with 3 months of training under an established gym vs the guy who stated they trained for 2 years but it was all at there home hitting a body bag for 15 min a day will not be in the same skill gap. Streetbeefs is what they are because training or non training you are given the availability to get in there and fight. Don’t forget the original point of SB was to settle beefs between two individuals. As the channel grew more people started coming just to test themselves and weren’t very skilled fighters. The difference between the Italian Tyson days where he would shred through dudes because he was just so strong, to now where that same monster can actually struggle vs more trained and experienced fighters is insane. I think Chris made a good call and didn’t want to put her in unnecessary danger either. He probably asked around everyone’s exp and decided it would be ok for a good reason. However there’s no need to be upset about this match. It was a fair fight where the guy outweighed Storm and had a reach advantage and she had a good coach behind her to know what her capabilities where. I think to even find someone at her skill they would actually have more months of similar training time under there belt kind of dismissing the idea of a “fair fight” because then that guy would technically have more experience than she does. We as men who like to watch or compete in fighting sports should be the first ones to acknowledge an individual’s accomplishments regardless of sex and without dismissing the validity of a persons win in any way. For me I’m 115 I know there are women who can beat me, and I also know men who outweigh me by a lot who I could actually hurt pretty badly. I know trained fighters who I can get the better of and untrained fighters who are relentless and tough who will absolutely starch me if given the chance. Fighting is beautiful and I’d like to see men be the ones who are the forerunners of keeping the sport of fighting alive with encouragement rather than through biases.

She is much more skilled than the guy, who doesn't know wtf he's doing and thinks he can fight just because he watches fights, and still, she didn't have it easy.
She was not very skilled either, her stand-up was fine but her grappling technique was pretty bad.
She was obviously much more skilled than this guy but that's not saying much, most amateur female fighters with a few fights under their belt would take her down and choke her out very easily.
The owner of streetbeefs made a video yesterday where he talked about this fight. He said the korean woman trains with his wife and she is very athletic and talented but she has only a few months training and I can totally believe it.
That's not ground skill. He just has had someone to explain him some basics of some of the moves they have seen on ufc.

That girl looked a lot more than just a few months training. And that guy looked like he was high or something.
Excuses. She looked like she had about a year's training at best, he'd had a little ground training, maybe just a few weeks before the fight. Weights are hard to tell sometimes, but suffice to say if he had an advantage there it was very little. That and being less experienced was what made him lose.

The only reason she won is because the guy had very little or no training. She has obviously been doing this a lot longer than him. The man was throwing punches like a kindergartner. Just sad.

I imagine most guys would feel uncomfortable about hitting a female, especially one that is much smaller but if he did at the start I think he quickly regretted it and judging from his “style” I don’t think it’s any surprise he was outmatched here. Good that she got a live body to practice on.

I unsubscribed streetbeefs for this. This sends a bad precedent. I give major props to her cause she is a fantastic martial artist but if this moves on to something else than other women can get hurt bad.
