- There's an iconic tin whistle solo on the song You Can Call Me Al so anytime it's on the set list I always bring my tin whistle🙈 This was on St. Patrick's day so I had to throw a little bit of St. Anne's Reel in at the end:)
Musicians: Vince Wylie, Mariko Reid, Jacob Pleakis, Denzel Chismar-Oliver, Andrew Kirk, Brandon Lehman

It's probably the best known palindrome in all of modern music (if not all music).
I am forever telling people that part of the bass solo is rewound, and everyone looks at me like I’m crazy. I heard it years ago as a kid and heard it. After 20+ years of trying to get people to hear it, only musicians (I used to be a musician) can hear it. It’s so frustrating.

@@Sihgilanu i mean 100%. I commented that because that's what I do when I play something fast so it just made me laugh and comment
That is the definition of cool
This is an interesting comment to me. Mostly because it's not how I play (the clarinet). Once I've practiced a piece multiple times, I play via muscle memory rather than picturing the sheet music. By muscle memory I mean the positioning and movement of my fingers on the instrument. I suspect you're correct about this musician picturing/ reading it in his head through. It's fascinating to learn about how different people do things in different ways!
What sheet music? It’s an improv solo. There is no sheet music. Unless you mean from the Irish tunes he snuck in there. I think that the other musicians at the gig had no idea that he would play that.
