    Thanks for the review! Very helpful. What you could do is buy an Ortlieb dry bag separately and use it with your Topeak harness. Then you have the best of both worlds.

    that's exactly what i was looking for. good that they show that with the bracket on the tradable. I wasn't sure if I threaded it correctly. the user manual was too difficult for me. your video helped me a lot. I use the bag for a Nemo Dragon fly tent and therma rest sleeping mat. it both fits perfectly in the 8 liter bag. Thanks and best regards🙏🏽🍀☺️

    Thanks for the review, especially the strapping demo.
    To avoid more tears in the dry bag, perhaps the tent poles etc can be strapped on the outside of the bag? I think Topeak include a H shaped strap for this
    Happy travels

    The instructions that came with this bag were next to useless and what’s more the design had changed but the instructions had not been updated. This lovely ladies directions sure helped me work out how to fix the harness to the bike. I have a Specialized Sirrus Carbon 2019 model, and cannot fit this bag to my bike because I have the gear levers and brakes etc in the way. I’m not sure how to proceed or should I send the bag back. I’m thinking of trying a handlebar extension but unsure if it would work.
    I am so disappointed….

      I’m glad instructions helped! Sorry it isn’t working out for you. I coincidentally haven’t even been using this bag that much anymore! 🤣 I’m forever changing my gear setup I think! Main reason is I love my routeworks bag so that’s always on my handlebars. I actually just purchased a product that may replace this and I’ll be doing a new video on that as soon as I get it and test it out. :) Stay tuned!

    Very helpful review video! Random question, what kind of handlebar tape do you have?

      You might know this already but if not, id suggest bringing mace or something with you if you plan on biking Puerto Rico. Lots of ferrel dogs that will chase you down & try and bite you. We narrowly escaped sometimes.

    Thank you for making this video. I have a question: what is the distance in centimeters between the two straps that attach to the handlebars? I'd like to get 2 lights on my handlebars and mount them between those 2 straps. If you have the time, an answer would be most appreciated. Happy cycling!

    • @cagefreed
      @cagefreed  Před 3 lety +2

      It looks like from middle of strap to middle of strap it is 4.75 inches or 12.065 cms. :)

    Thanks for the review. I got this bag, but haven't mounted it b/c I have a drop bar like you, but without any flare. That limits the volume of the bag a lot and takes a lot of caution when packing I guess.
    Yours matches pretty good between the bars.
    Why does the compression bag of the frontloader have two open ends? I have the backloader too and it only got one.

    • @cagefreed
      @cagefreed  Před rokem +1

      I think the backloader only has one because of the nature of that bag. Of course, you won’t be able to access the bag from the front when mounted. But with the frontloader, they want you to be able to access it from either side.

    Great review!
    2 questions, can you measure the widht of your handlebar in drop position?
    And also can you measure in your bike the distance between the end of your handlebar and your tire?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi! Thank you so much for your review. I've got a question though, if it's not too personal... How tall are you? What size is your frame? I'm pretty small, and have the impression that this bag will touch my front tire when fully loaded!

    • @cagefreed
      @cagefreed  Před 3 lety

      Hi Joe! I am about 5’7” and I rock a 52-55 frame depending on the bike 😊 maybe good to measure the distance just in case? Valid point. Also, maybe could vary a bit depending on if you have straight bars or drop bars.
