As a retired CA licensed general contractor, and patent-holding inventor, I'd say many of the negative comments make a good point or two, but no one seems to have mentioned at least one obvious, if inadvertent, advantage of your design over the original saw or an off-the-shelf reciprocating saw. Let's see if any of the naysayers can figure it out. Looks like you're a guy who perseveres in the face of challenges. And whimsically creative. Fun video.
It's actually pretty damn stable and has a large length it can actually cut and one can dial in the speed so the blade doesn't get that hot as quick could also a oiler that can move along the rail
The ability to add leverage to the full length of the blade due to the guard? The ability to use maybe the smallest amount of blade possible instead of the full length so you can choose to wear the teeth as needed?
The stroke is kinda short for the way the hacksaw is normally used.

Como ara este serrajero para trabajar con esa tembladera.De razón se bajo un dedo. Con esa sierra. Además es la primer soldadura que veo que hace corto en una herramienta sin electricidad. Si este serrajero de este video y las gracias que hizo, jamás se me olvidarán. Que Buen Reloj Despertador se consiguió.

El taladro se dañará rápido por el engranaje que sera presionado excentricamente, pues es para empujar de frente y no de lado. Ya me pasó usando el taladro como lijadora de rodillo. Interesante la idea pero no dañen el taladro. 😁👍🏻

No es funcional , si cortas un metal más grueso té vas a llevar varios minutos y el taladro se va a calentar. Vi que esa solera de octavo le dio trabajo cortarla, sería más rápido a mano porque recorres toda la segueta e imprimes más fuerza y estabilidad.
Si tarda mucho incluso con la madera ,esto es porque el recorrido de subida y bajada de la seguete es muy corta apenas de 2cm a mano puedes usar toda la segue ta en el recorrido de los dientes por el material

Tal vez un rodamiento más grande o modificar a un tipo pistón como las máquinas de hacer tatuajes caseras

Buena idea con transferir movimiento giratorio a lateral con la caja bola en forma de leva.....aca en USA hay variedad de seguetas eléctricas en forma de taladro ..muy eficientes y para usar cualquier tipo de hoja dentada ..metal.madera etc.....basado en ese principio q usted ha demostrado ...asi q vale su demostración .de como funciona un mecanismo leva...

A hacksaw blade is generally made to cut in one direction and putting down pressure on the blade on the backstroke actually dulls the blade when cutting steel. Nuff said.

Hay que ver que el taladro tiene sus rodamientos dimensionados para esfuerzos en sentido axial. En este caso, el taladro es sometido a esfuerzos totalmente radiales. Eso le va a reducir sensiblemente la vida útil.
En cada video tiene otra lesión, y hasta le falta un dedo.
No creo que esté entre sus prioridades la vida útil del rodamiento.
Talvez con un buen taladro electrico si aguante,porque este se dañara .

Looks like a good way to wear the teeth out in one short section of the blade at a time (noting the short stroke) while also wearing out your expensive drill and it's expensive battery. There's a whole 10 inches of blade that isn't doing anything! 😂😂

I agree that the stroke is too short. I can see it being good if your still making the full stroke yourself but the drill makes it easier and less time consuming to cut through.

На период локдауна, изготовление такого инструмента, может скрасить серые будни.
Электролобзик по цене сопоставим с шуруповертом.
Пилка по металлу для электролобзика не дороже ножовочного полотна.
Использование шуруповерта таким образом, выведет его из строя раньше заложенного производителем срока по конструктивным причинам.
Электролобзик изначально конструктивно создан для выполнения такого вида работ.
Может быть стоило бы рассмотреть вариант с использованием электролобзика?

No se trata de mirar lo malo, el tipo es ingenioso, pero sobretodo peligroso, ignora muchas cosas, usa las herramientas de manera errónea y peligrosa.
No considera la calidad y características de los materiales que usa, como por ejemplo la t° a que funciona la hoja de la sierra y el paso que está tiene, por lo mismo es riesgosa, el ángulo de trabajo, la ergonomía. Todo es peligroso en su video, es tan estúpido como ponerle motor de automóvil a un monociclo
