Midrange SHOWDOWN Part 2! MVP Lizottl Hex Vs TSA Pathfinder

- Welcome back Justice League! In this video, we're comparing the winner of the previous midrange showdown, the MVP Lizottl Hex vs a disc that has been recommended to me countless times, the Thought Space Athletics Pathfinder! These two are very straight, point and shoot midranges. The MVP Lizottl Hex is new in the eclipse plastic making it a touch more stable than usual. This extra stability in the MVP Hex makes the comparison between it and the TSA Pathfinder much closer than ever before! I have never thrown a TSA Pathfinder up until this point, but I can say I see why it has been so highly recommended! This should be one heck of a battle!
Which disc is the better midrange? Is there a difference between the two? Can you bag both discs? Let's find out in this midrange showdown!

I'll often putt with my left arm to give the right one a rest.
Gotta do what ya gotta do! 💯
I like Pathfinder in conjuction with a Mind Bender.
Funny enough that’s exactly what I use at the moment
EMAC Truth and Supreme Fugitive is all you need.
Sounds like a solids combo!
My buddy turned me on to Thoughtspace, I absolutely LOVE my 3 Mantras in the Aura plastic, and I have 2 Pathfinders in the Aura as well. They are a little slick outta the gate, but once you use it a bit, it will get better
I gotta say I’ve been really digging the pathfinder I honestly don’t have any complaints 💯
nose down anny, what helped me was making sure my arm and hand followed through toward the ground. Thinking about that through the hit helped me with nose angle on anhyzers
Sounds about right because I don’t think I’ve been focusing on my follow through. I’ll try it out! Thanks man! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Paint the rainbow
The rainbow had to touch the ground. I reckon that’s the follow through?
The putting is coming along!!
It comes and goes hahaha 😂
Slightly changing my grip and throwing as if it were flat is the best technique I've found for keeping the nose down on anny
Worth a shot! 🤷🏽♂️
should do mind bender vs lizzottl
I reckon that’s the next midrange battle I’ll do 💯 just trying to get my hands on one
@@discgolfjustice if you haven't found one by the social day this Sunday you can borrow mine
You’re a legend 🙌🏽
Man let me know and you can have mine outright. Not bagging a disc that cost me an ass load to replace lol
😂😂😂 I didn’t realise they were pricey 👀 maybe it’s best to keep it out the bag 😂😂 nah haha I’d love to give it a rip!
Wow, you did it! If you like MVP/Axiom Plasma, check out the TSA Ethereal. Basically a whole disc made with Plasma! Grippier than Aura plastic (what you have) and a touch more stable, imo. Slight beef with fact that the Pathfinder only lost because you missed the mando... Great vid though. Thank you and keep it up!
Ya very unfortunate that it had to come down to a double mando. I reckon I’m still going to keep the pathfinder in the bag as it’s more stable than the hex
Not "basically", literally the ethereal plastic is plasma from MVP.
MVP makes molds for TSA and Mint with the exception of the Muse I believe. TSA graphics are off the chain.
I do like the stamp on this for sure!
MVP makes discs for TSA. MVP own the moulds. Reactor=Pathfinder.
the Aura pathfinders are slippery at first. I wash them with a magic eraser to get any manufacturing oil off the plastic and after about 5 rounds it will start to wear in and become grippier. I prefer the Ethos plastic though
Is ethos more grippy? I dig the pathfinder but I just feel like this needs more grip
@@discgolfjustice it is pretty grippy but is like champion plastic
Ahhh okay. I like star plastic from Innova
@@discgolfjustice for some reason with MVP plastic the clear proton or ethos in the TSA lineup is more grippy
Thought space is made by MVP so probably looking at something similar to neutron plastic
Ahhh okay gotcha. Thank you!
I once was told in a pro lesson getting the disc on a good anny not nose up is all in the follow through with the bag leg. If want to throw anny need to exaggerate the follow through.
I mean that sounds pretty legit to me! I’ll definitely give it a try! Thanks Adam! 🙏🏽
hum, What is going to dethrone the Hex?!? I am going to go touch my hex right now ;)
Might be the midrange king 👀 I got one more opponent for it
Hole 3 I'd say your release is pretty flat. The downhill slant will pull a neutral disc with it. I think the shot shape is perfect for the hole really, just start the line a little more left. Anytime you are throwing downhill it will make the disc a little less stable as well.
Ahhh yep that makes since. I always tend to forget about that on shorter holes 😅
Still waiting on that Pekapeka video 😉
Haha I reckon I could compare it to the undertaker. I have a pekapeka I’m glow plastic so I reckon it’d be similar
@@discgolfjustice do it, do it do it 😉💙🦇
@@discgolfjustice it is comparable to the heat, by discraft. The Undertaker is far more stable.
Body English? Kath and Kim?

Ahhh hahaha okay 😅😂
