design a smaller set of stairs into the elevated floor (as opposed to stairs coming out from the floor). that way there is no way to trip over extended stair treads/risers. you still will have storage on either side of stairs.

At 46 you look at least 10 years younger and you have a skin so perfect that your "I have just woken up face" is better then my "I have just spent 1 hour to get ready for a party face". Stephanie.... although I saw on one of your first videos you bought a Chateau when you were younger- it never really sunk in watching this series, filmed years later, as you still look so young!! I kept thinking you were still in your 30s for some reason :).... it does seem some people do look younger these days- but you really do! Not that looks matter per se, just you do really radiate all around.... spirit etc too!!! You clearly did the right thing by following your heart to live a Chateau!!! My dad was like that, always lived life and always full of spirit!
Anyway, I just wanted to say that.... I always appreciate if people say that to me as I get "older"... I even heard Cher comment recently she's still waiting to feel old, so it's not like one has too... here's to being and feeling great !!!
