This is why I love Ash's channel. Some of the other Raid content creators act a bit elitist and act like you shouldn't touch rares at all, save for Coldheart, Apothecary and Bellower. Then there's Ash. He'll find you 20-30 viable rares to use!
Don't need to diss other CCs to big up Ash. Pretty much all other CCs mention most if not all of these rares.

Coldheart actually warmed my heart. I only see her as a rare worth keeping. I believe she's a secret leggo😅
With cooldown decrease accessories, cold-hearted can really deliver.
I pulled maybe 5 or so in a summon chase, got the primary 60 full ascended, another to pair for faction guardian, think I might even have a spare after fully booking the primary. All within a week of first hearing about Coldheart
She is an incredible rare.. She has taken me to Level 21 Firenight..
I know gervis is a epic but I had no support and man has he changed my account I'm free 2 play and my team was rhonda artek kael athel fenax but they couldn't pass certain things on doom tower like scarab king the second on frost spider and the comes gervis and he ends up with his abilities doing by himself after they all died

I just got done booking the Bellower last week and am mid-process on Banshee (love her now), have already finished Soulbond, and have Abyssal and Ruffstone in the vault for whenever their turn comes. The Coldheart is on a few of my teams, including Spider and one of the potion keeps.

This is good to know thank you! Just about all of my champions are rare except a little more than a handful of epics and my only 2 legendary champs Rhonda and Artak… have have the worst luck pulling champs

Painkeeper is a must build and keep, and the only rare I have kept multiple of for end game content.
I use 3 in my Iron Twins comp, and one in my Sand Devils comp. One of the Painkeeprs in IT and the one in SD are 60, the other 2 are not.
To me, Painkeeper is the most important rare in the game. Also, it can be used for CB comps.
I think your assesment of being an End Game Player in R:SL is right on point. IMHO, it's about finishing Faction Crypts, the Sand Devil's Necropolis, and the Phantom Shogun's Grove. Also, I would say that being able to completely ignore any Events and Tournaments you wish regardless of their Milestones.
Speaking of controll, do you recomend vizix with stun set?
Also, i like the idea of a second fellhound for controll. I have a spare so ill do it
I got ruffstone on my main with like my 3rd anchient shard and was luky enough to have all the books go to his A1. never thought of using stun set on him but now I probably will so I can advance in faction wars
I run a dual Ruffstone build everywhere I can. Combine with Bellower in a stun set and his debuffs, along with Kael for Anti-Boss. 5th slot I switch between Fellhound with just A1 active to debuff speed or Grinner in stages where I might need revives.

I truly enjoy your content. However, I want to issue you and @HellHades a challenge. Most of your content (from my persspective) benefits most midgame players to jump up to the endgame levels. My challenge is, can you build a clan boss team utilizing mostly rare champions? Or even bulid a fire night team that utilizes easier to access champions (void and legendary champions are not allowed).
The reason is that I am a relatively new player and haven't been playing more than 3 months. In the beginning, the urge to spend money to get addition anchient, void, and legendary shards and books was extremely overwhelming becasue it didn't seem like there was any good ways to truly prioritze efforts to progress the account with better champions and gear.
Hope this makes sense. Just an idea for a video that would be pretty unique. (Rare only Clan Boss/ Dungeon team)

And maybe you've already noticed it, but here goes:
Raid says ascending gear is random.
I've tested this.
Out of 32 pieces:
14 Flat Attack
10 Flat Defense
1 Speed
1 Resist
1 Attack %
1 Defense %
Does this seem very "random" to you?
Because it certainly doesn't to me, and it's something I've consistently noticed, almost ALWAYS getting a useless Flat Stat and very little else.

Ash, have you ever done like a player review, looking at champs and then building a team for say the clan boss UNM with whatever they have?
I have a banshee and a 6star soul for her but havent built her. For fun, what blessing should I put on her?
When I was still in early game. The Abyssal was the best healer for me. If I tried to swap it to something else, my team would be worse of.
I used him for months until UDK was released. I kept it around for sentimental reasons.
Reliquary Tender cleanse and back up rez still gets in lots of teams for me esp in doom tower

Newish player here. Started dipping toe into doom tower last month. Would be super useful to have a video of rares that excel at doom tower bosses. So many doom tower boss videos feature legos or top tier epics. With the huge volume of rares i lose track of which ones i need to hold onto for some weird mechanic of a boss.
Personally Reliquary Tender gets a lot of play against doom tower bosses for me particularly against nether spider and Master Butcher is crucial to my Bommal team I literally could not beat it without him and the nice thing about both of them is that I use them both at 50 and they do their jobs just fine

Hey ASH, I'm wondering if you have a more updated guide on Valla or if she's even worth building at this point. He A1 & A2 seem very counterproductive but I have a 2☆ soul for her and she's currently riding the vault wave. Please let me know your opinion.

I got most of these rares, but Fellhound is the only one that I built to 60. He is good in Doom Tower (rare void secret room) too.

Hey Ash! You know one thing I've always wondered is why haven't they added another viable uncommon like Armiger?
Easy. A viable uncommon is too easy to pull and build, which means Payrium doesn't make any $$ off of it.
i waited like 2 years to get one Coldhearth... now i got too much
i've built only 2, both in Reflex, one specifically for Spider, with Hero's Soul blessing and masteries for that enemy; the other, classic Phantom Touch single target
should i build another one? how?
Another build is really fast (251 min for some but 260-270 spd better for others), with warmaster and just enough dmg to hit max HP cap in hard dungeons, acc dungeon, etc. and any remaining stats for survivability. That is one I need to build. A different approach is to build another spider max dmg one for those faction adv clan quests or the dungeon tournaments they run with only certain factions where people use 3 CH's on one team.
I've got 4 out of these six. Appreciate the advice on how to go about the builds

I took 5 non void rare from each affinity and 6 star. My rares I feel I can use for the end game. Hands down Shadowbow Tirlac was 6 stared 3 months ago.

Ha I was looking at the 6 star blessing rare stash for secret rooms today and some could be a lot more useful with the extra utility with blessing skills, updated gear sets and gear awakening. What about a Apo with a 6 star miracle heal? Gawd knows it's easier to get 6 star rare blessings lol.

I have fellhound and got him to lv60 because i saw you farming with him and his A1 was great And have him on a Speed set Defense set and Critrate set and What about his masteries?? So should I use a stun set also and what else? Please help i have bad luck with builds and don't have that much time or coins to get it right usually.
I think part of you answer lies in how you want to use him. If you still want to use him most efficiently as a campaign farmer you have get enough stats to one-shot all the waves. That may be easier to do with sets that increase crit damage and/or ignore defense like Savage, Instinct, or Lethal. If your gear is good enough you could maybe hit all the damage requirements with a stun set and something else. But the masteries will need the damage tree. I think it would take very very good gear to pull off enough damage to campaign farm with one-shots in brutal 12-3 or 12-6 AND at the same time get 30% stuns. Ash has videos about using Felhound as a campaign farmer. I just regeared mine and now get 100% one-shots in brutal. The benefit of that to me outweighs using him as a stunner if you only have 1 Felhound. A benefit Ash never mentioned is he gets damage buffs to his a1 from both def and atk stats. I think some goal stats are 6k combined def and atk, 100% crit rate, 220% crit damage, and ~103ish+ (no more than 109 needed, can't recall) speed??
Edit: of course you can use lower stats to just clear the levels without one-shotting waves, it takes longer.

Bellower is a solid champ in a stun set. And I think Renegade is probably end game if you don’t have Kymar, Basher or Yumeko.

I have yet to get my hands on Apothecary. I just got Reliquary about a week ago. It's astonishing to me how rare certain rares seem to be. I've gotten your nemesis Harrier probably a dozen times. I have two copies of Coldheart. But I cannot get my hands on an Apothecary.
on my latest account.. i have 4 apothecaries. Probably my most pulled rare in a 2 month account.

Soulbond bowyer’s A2 deals massive damage in Arena. I one shot most force and spirit champs with it (i.e udk and duchess).On Force champs it routinely hits for over 100k (poor udk lol). She’s a closet leggo in arena.

Soulbond is the most valuable rare for secret rooms in a stun set by a country mile! She can be used in all but 2 of the rare rooms! I have 3 built! Lol

I started a new account a couple weeks ago with a challenge in mind. FTP using only Commons and Rares. Vaulting the epics and Legendaries until I see how far i can push it.

Since Soulbond has that additional 25% crit chance, plarium should put that with her total stats instead of the default 15%.

Gnarlhorn is an absolute cheat code when it comes to crowd control. A great doom tower champ. Fast, tanky, accuracy, problem solved. He doesn't care about affinity because his AOE provoke is PLACED, not the result of a hit. The same advantage Mordecai has with his AOE burn.

am I the only one who just ignores the secrets rooms that require you to waste all your resources building rares?
Nope. I beat the one in rotation 1 to get Ramantu but the other two rotations aren't worth it. I was eyeing them up and was going to build teams but then they announced there are no more DT hard secret room champs being added so you would be maxing rares you only use there just to get forge materials once you have all the DT champs - most of which are useless anyway. No thanks.
