@@goldenshovel7573 I hate you lol
You can tell that he isn’t trying to deceive us because he try’s so hard. Dude isn’t even close to clickbait.
Exactly, CZcams isn't fair. The people who do clickbait get millions of views. It shows how genuine Tyler is in making his content.

lol Tyler man, "it only lasts 10-20 seconds before it starts leaking" Yeah, that's why they only showed it for 2seconds after he patched it in the commercial!
Hahaha yeah I was thinking the same thing 😂
I was literally about to make basically the same comment before I scrolled down just a little bit
We've all been there.
i was just about to leave a comment saying just that but ya beat me to it lol

I need a video of you repairing a wall or something of the sort and sanding it smooth. PLEASE.
Hahaha I like too see you do it
Wrong channel for that, got check out bob villa
If your man can't fix a wall you need to find a real one.
You’ve lost a LOT of weight Tyler! Congratulations if it was intentional.

this reminds of the griswolds where clark sticks a piece of gum to a dam leak underground and more gum he puts on the leak another leak would start lol.

@Milquetoast Eugenicist AH, right.
5he problem is the material the bucket is made of. Every cement tells you on the label that it won't work on polyethylene as it is one of the slippery/non-stick plastics. That would also apply to this product.
Try a metal or non-slippery material.
They're slippery all except when you stack the bastards lol
@@dodge8802 Press fit works. A little vacuum helps too.
thats not the problem, cuz the paste isnt falling off, its separating from itself not the bucket
yes
Don't they use a bucket in the commercial?
I think a simple piece of duct tape would hold it.
Flex tape would hold it
Tony Chopp 😂😂
Too much water for duct tape, it won't stick wet
Didnt he try flex tape and i failed
Full load of Cummins no, it worked
If they had flex paste on the titanic then God help that iceberg.

When I first visited this channel it barely had 50k subs now you have nearly half a million subs and appears in my recommendation. Keep growing Tyler. Great to see you again
"YES" It can stop leaks, Depending on the water pressure.
You can't expect it to stop a leak with 5 gallons/18 Liters pushing down on it. I don't believe the commercial was misleading. Just use it in a more logical, real life scenario, way. No paste is stopping 5 gallons obviously. Not to mention the Cut in the commercial isn't low on the bucket, so theres no weight pushing down on it (and the commercial bucket is wider, distributing the water weight more). The cut in this video is at the very bottom, meaning all the weight of the water is pushing down on it.
it works best with no water in the bucket
did you watch the commercial? He used it the same way
@@amyjude.1892 it didnt imply that the bucket was full in the commercial
The average wooden barrel is 59 gallons. The commercial shows one cut in half (29.9 gallons) and stopping a leak no problem. So if it can do that, 5 gallons should be child's play.
@@amyjude.1892 the half of a bucket he had in a commercial wasn't as high as the bucket Tyler used. There was much more water pressure on the hole in the bucket Tyler used.
Hey Tyler, been a fan for a long time and im glad to see you havent changed a bit man..! Love your content keep up the great work!
I agree!
I've been watching your videos at my job for the past 2 weeks non stop. Was waiting for a new video. Ya got me a hooked. I'm a fan
Love your videos man, some of the best content on CZcams
Glad to see another flex video
I feel like the thick wooden barrel he used allowed the flex paste to work down into the slit he made and the bucket is just so thin you're just putting a layer over it, it doesn't have room for anything to really go down into the slit if that makes sense
I had the same thought.
Or they just hurried up and switched to a different part of the commercial to hide the fact it really doesn’t stop the leak.
I end my day watching CZcams videos. I truly enjoy watching yours because they always give me a good laugh. Thanks so much for sharing. Have a great day.
How many Home Depot buckets do you think Tyler has? Also, does he get a cut for product placement? If not, better get on that!
Hes proving them wrong so they defo wouldnt pay him
@@way2375 it's the sealant that's the problem not the home depot bucket
@@RexOedipus. theres a hole in the bucket and thats a problem
@@way2375 the hole wasnt made by home depot. The hole was made by tyler and the sealant can't plug the hole. Home depot has cheap unreliable shit yes. But this time it isn't their fault
My comment was confusing. I meant Home Depot should pay him.
Itd probably work with a lower water level in the bucket. There's too much weight standing on the product.
Didn't they use a massive bucket though?
@@Petrslav yeah they had like a massive glass tank
@@nateconley.6209no
@@nateconley.6209 it was half a barrel there wasn't that much water on it
Finn doesn’t matter, amount of pressure is determined by depth. The commercial looked higher, so less pressure, meaning it would hold. They prob used the barrel to make it seem like there was a lot of water and a lot of pressure, but they cut fairly high, so pressure was lower.
I was actually wanting to see him do this! thank you!
Shout out to Tyler for reading the comments 🙌🏾. Hopefully one day I can get to the status you’re at keep grinding 👍
Amazing video keep up the great work
Loving these 2 videos a week!
I think holding it down and letting it dry up would stop the active leak. In a real life scenario, having something to reinforce the flex paste in place for 24 hours until it's completely dried up could do the trick.
I kinda love ow much you've evolved from back then, but It's still really funny to watch how you are now. Thank you for then entertainment during this.
Dang done got “swifted”
Leave things in flex paste for 30 days.
probably already in the works, waiting for the 30 day end
This is the best channel, ever. 🤣 Keep them coming!
2 videos in a row he didn't start by say "Alright guys" my mind is blown!
This isn't the real Tyler...
HES BEEN CLONED, the real tyler has been stolen away by phil swift to create the most indestructible flex product yet, viva la revolution
The commercials are telling the truth if your only want it to work for 10 seconds 😂
Tylertube!!!!!!
Tyler needs to make a tier list of his favourite flex products
Love this channel
I'd love to see a video of how strong cable ties are love the videos bro
Damn infomercials thank goodness we have Tyler to put products to the real test.
Thanks brother for another Great video, Son wants to buy some Paste and copy you. Your videos really helping my son get more interested in what dad does for a living. Thanks
Video was good. That shirt though! ❤
I was a commercial plumber for 2 years now I strictly do residential work I cannot tell you how many times I have said I really want this to stop the leak
Hi Tyler still with the beard. Iv noticed you have better editing now and it great you have really improved
This bucket is like a metaphor for 2020
Nice shirt Tyler !!!
2:20 “Ah maybe?!?!” I felt that.
I honestly have no clue how you've made it to adulthood but *A* for effort and it was funny... ROFLMAO!!
Yay more flex .... videos :3
Love the shirt, Steve-o is an absolute bloody legend
try applying it from inside
thanks, I never expected to get a heart
I turned 1080p60fps on for this.
Did not disappoint.
When that flex paste didnt hold i could not stop laughing in the old video.
They also used wood in the commercial, so the paste has a bigger gap to fill inside of the wood thickness, meaning that theres a thicker glop of paste to stop the leak.
Nice vid keep it up
*Now that's alot of damage!*
This is a "are ya winning, son?" Moment
You should test out different brands of nails or screws and see which ones are the best
I love that the steve o shirt worked its way into the rotation
I can only imagine how many takes before they were able to seal that leak long enough to film that part of the commercial
“Yeahhh dude”
On walls i would rather use drywall mud, i know i can sand it back smooth and get it ready for paint. I know i done drywall for 18 years so it might be a little easier for me
In the commercial the cut was at the top/middle of the tank so the pressure wasn’t bad hence the reason it could stop a leak, so if you did I higher up it would work ideally
Idea for a "I left 5 things in *blank*" video:
"I left 5 things in thick water for 30 days"
Interesting idea, but I doubt it’ll do much since it’s just thickened water. Personally, I’d rather see him leave thing in Liquid Fire for 30. I bet that’ll be really cool to see.
I think he should leave things in battery acid
I’m surprised I haven’t seen “I left ... in Flex products for ... days” yet, haha
slenderman that’s just water but thick that is just fucking boring
@@wyattrownd72 so? I don't care if it is gonna be boring. Do you think I use my brain when I post comments like these?
A day with a Tyler tube upload is a great day.
The reason it worked in the commercial is because the barrel he had, he made the hole right below the water surface. in Tyler's bucket, the hole is a lot deeper in the water and so has a lot more pressure. This is why it worked for him at first, then stopped working as the bucket was full.
In all fairness to Tyler and Flex seal let us consider the bucket Tyler is using as compared to the wood barrel Flex seal uses on the commercial. Tyler's bucket is made of slippery plastic, the barrel is made of wood, big difference; the wood will seal because it will allow adhesion, where as the smooth plastic bucket will not. I call this experiment ambiguous and unfair, therefore it is to be ignored.
Maybe try a flat barrel/ flat surface like in the commercial? Make the curvature of the bucket is another factor in the paste not holding? Just a thought!
Love the Steve-O shirt 🙌🏼♥️
Try a ton of sticky things that you may be able to stop the leak with start with a small cat and work bigger. Pinhole to saw cut kind of deal. Good luck and thanks for the awesome videos!
Insanity is defined as Tyler trying to close a hole on a bucket filled with water using flex paste.
Look Tyler got a new shirt! 🤣
It worked for a few seconds, but thats all you need to look convincing for a commercial
Based on your results and how it seemed to stop it at first until the bucket got fuller, I have to assume that the barrel in the infomercial wasn't very full, probably just barely full enough to make it look good.
*now that’s a lot of damage*
Arts n crafts with tyler
You need more
The commercial is just a product of Hollywood magic
I'm laughing so hard 😂😂 Thank you for the joyful video!😂😂from Taiwan~
Sweet shirt!
Please please do a storm protection version, like off the commercial
I'm loving the steve-o shirt
I think on the commercial they had a hose to put put water in the bucket while it was sawed, and the bottom of the bucket was raised almost up to the point where the slither was, and of course you can imagine there was no pressure, thats why it worked on the commercial. Or they have an enhanced product just for the commercial. Its all just a theory idk anything else they could do.
Love the shirt
This video showed the flex paste holding the leak for a longer amount of time than what was shown in the commercial unless there's some extended cut version I haven't seen where it doesn't transition within like 3 seconds
Nice shirt Tyler
I feel like the best would be to put flex tape over the leak, and the cover that with flex paste. Because the tape is ready a fully dried rubber.
I feel they probably did camera editing showing the finished spot being filled or cut before it shot out
YE AAAHHH DUDE🤟🏽🤙🏽
Tyler is a Tyler
You should try from the inside, like does it work in water when the pressure is different
He must have gotten a threatening letter from flex seal products! Lol 😂 don’t let them punk you Tyler.
Try covering the whole with a piece of plastic and using the flex paste to attach them together
If you watched the infomercial it only shows it for about 3 seconds so thats why it worked lol
Man fights with bucket
Maybe compare it to different types of caulking (clear, unclear, specialist etc) but take it out of the tube for the sake of fairness and apply as you would the Flexpaste on buckets (one for each kind) with the exact same holes/cuts but yea someone definitely needs to get you a Home Depot sponsorship.
This is like a real life Pink Panther cartoon
The commercial made it look soo easy. Even putting it into a fish tank and sealing a hole. Should have tried sticking it into the water and sealing through the inside. Maybe the pressure will push the flex paste through and seal it more
Cam you apply it on the inside of the bucket? The pressure of the water would push the flex paste into the slit then?
Pressing and holding for a few seconds helped a lot though
So had it dried and cured would it have been effective? Considering using this for my current shuttle bus conversion window leak issue!
Tyler, where do you be getting your tools from?
