I didn't notice at first but watching this back I love how when Mike is like...omg let me rescue you... Katya just turns to him, flicks her hand and says GO! Gives it some sass and carries on... True pro for that and a true caring partner in Mike! Was he the greatest? No.. but there's definitely improvement there! And I LOVED how sparkly the outfits were!!
That acting at the beginning tho 👌
The difference between a good pro and an average pro is what Katya showed here. She made something out of nothing with the fall. Kinda like her choreo with some of her partners. Mike just doesn't have the Latin movement, unfortunately, however, his dedication is to be admired. Saying that his New Yorkers weren't too bad, nice sharp action. 6 for me.
I had to go back and watch the fall, I thought oh she's done that well glide forward to the floor turn and sit on bum.. Clearly I don't understand dance just love it xx

Katya is a fantastic dancer, and I always look forward to what choreography she performs with her partners. The style and performance is quite superb as it is quite risque, has comedic value. Her enthusiasm always reflects on her partner and they usually bring to the floor an entertaining, funny dance routinue. Go Katya!!!!
The thing with Mike is, I feel like the judges are always laughing and acting like he’s the joke and laugh of the competition like Anne Widecombe and Ed Balls were, but Mike has actually got rhythm and isn’t even bad! I really like him ☺️

I felt he was really concentrating today I didn’t see a lot of energy come from his face which surprised me.

First of all can we all Appreciate Katya! She is truly professional and Carries on when tripped on the Confetti. And her acting was quite good!
Anyways, This didn't scream sexy, it screamed cringe! He just performs with entertainment and I'll give him that! 4

She didn't trip on the confetti. She fell because she was supposed to be pushing on her partner but he ran back so fast she was grasping at air and overbalanced.
ETA - correction. Watched it back on slow speed and I'm pretty sure she tripped on his shoe.

This is probably a entrance on Strictly to remember. Mike coming down the pole, Russel coming down the rocket and Anne flying. The technique was quite good for someone like him. I love-love-love the choreo. For a man his age he has muscle. Obviously, Katya fell but it wasn’t bad so it cracks me a 5.75/10
Entertaining as usual. Poor Katya that slip kudos to her for carrying on!👍🏻Mike is so enthusiastic not the best celeb dancer but he puts his heart and soul into every dance.

@@amyheath7798 The judges have to judged the celebs dancing, they aren't there to score the pros. So even if Katya fell, they should still score Mike fairly
Alex Funk they are there to judge the dance as a whole which means if the pro messes up the celeb takes the hit too. Otherwise pros wouldn’t have to put in much effort

Becksnnc something happened there for sure. Her footing was off after that. Like a broken shoe or maybe she has a slight injury and it was a bit weak
I think she was supposed to crouch down and slide under his legs - which she did, but whatever it was supposed to be it wasn't very graceful from what you can see.
ursine121 I think so too. I believe she choreographed that fall then slide between his legs. It wasn’t graceful though but she meant to do that. The fall at the end was an accident

Ya know, the parts of this routine that was actual cha-cha steps...were actually pretty good. His timing has improved greatly, and he's got some surprisingly strong lines. Katya's fall was unfortunate, but both took it like a champ to the point where I almost didn't notice it. (5)

Wow the foot work was brilliant he was on point, he finished every move even though they were a bit robotic I think when Katya fell it lowered their score but I think Mike did pretty well, I feel the 3 was a bit low but the 5's I totally agree with, I would have given it a 6 because he finished every move his feet were on point just a bit stiff and needs to loosen up.

Good side to sides and knee synchronisations. He was not flatfooted and it was a big improvement on last week, there is definitely some sort of natural rhythm their and it more fun. I really enjoyed the enthusiasm and I think he will stick around for a while. Yes it is more fun than technique but he will be one of the only dances I will watch again. His timing was good and their was alot of content. Shame Katya tripped but I still liked it *5/10* he has potential

To be honest if she fell over more carefully it would've looked like nothing happened because she played it off so good! But I suppose nobody expects to fall lol x
When they said he was going to be doing a Magic Mike themed dance in the VT and Pony came on in the beginning, I was choking thinking "oh god, please don't make him do awful stripper moves or actually strip his shirt off", we don't need to see that! Thankfully though, Katya didn't put him through that!

For everyone saying Katya is drunk! I hour hit this two later on she said there was confetti over the floor. The second fall was her messing around but was just too good at acting😂

I someday, want to watch Magic Mike. Why do I feel weird saying that?
That moment when you get bummed cuz it's not Katya from dragrace.
My main problem is I am struggling to establish exactly what half of the dances are.
Only the obvious ones stood out because of the moves. Either the choreography needs to tighten up or the use of contemporary moves needs to be withdrawn and the dances stay true to what they should be. All getting rather confusing...

It was such an entertaining routine! Mike was really into the dance in terms of character, he acted the dance fantastically. However, he lost times one or two times, he didn't straighten his legs, there was no hip action... in other words his technique was pretty weak. The only two positive things I can say regarding his actual cha cha cha are his arms that were quite good and his New-York that was technically good as well. Other than that, this routine was riddle with mistakes, even though he gave a great show. A 4.

This looks like a night out with my cousin and her friend after a swan river cruise in Perth in 1992! My cousin suggested a Chippendale night with her nurse friend! I remember it well! My cousin throwing up, falling over, her friend on drugs and me trying to stay sober looking after them both! I think the producer got the wrong girl! It was the friend and not Cody Horn! Cody was the one against their lifestyle and suggested that they change their ways! Adam Davood katsina was at my cousins house! I was busy going to Cher step aerobics classes!
He was really stiff for the whole performance, and he didn’t really flow with the music. Which is why he got the score he did.

I hear they are paying the celebs shed loads of money to appear. I hope so for making Mike Bushell look like an absolute prat every week, it's dad dancing at its very worst! I respect Katya and know she hasn't got a lot to work with, but please! Quoting Motsi the other week, it was simple, simply beautiful. She could have crafted routines that are simple, that he could do well with just a little entertainment value! Sorry Katya not sure if you'll be chosen as a professional next year!

There is absolutely no way this program isn't fixed. Every year there is a terrible, cringe, 'joke' act. Its like JedWard on Xfactor. Widicombe, Ed Balls the list goes on and on. Politicians and BBC presenters are guaranteed to do well. When watching with my wife I never pick up on who dances the best, I have no clue, but I know fixing when I see it and this show is full of it. The judges know before the names are read out for who goes through, they have already made the decision on who is going to win the 'dance off' and I can 100% guarantee that they are told 'if its XYZ vote them through.' Every week its the same words used. Technical, polished, sold the dance.
Picture the scene. Two couples are told they have recieved the least votes. They both dance. One is a popular BBC presenter, one is a young actress from ITV. They both dance virtually exactly the same as the night before. The young actress received 5000 votes the BBC presenter gets 500 votes. The judges vote for the BBC presenter. This isnt fixed? Wake up sheep we pay, we have to pay, TV licenses and then have to pay to vote? BBC will be exposed at some point the same way politics is being exposed. Unreal.
Katya annoys me because you can see her counting the rhythm. She needs to stop.
