When I was in New Orleans Louisiana in June of 2018 after living in Mesa Arizona the heat and humidity nearly killed me, so I didn't get to see Bourbon Street.

You just have to shout “throw me something mister!” It’s basically a tradition, they’re free and they get thrown around to people along with other gifts 😊

That’s for sure. Even the Word Mardi Gras is French sentence. However, a tradition that came from Italy.

Not a chance! Lol… That’s only “tradition” for tourists that don’t know any better. Locals will quickly tell you that it’s not Mardi Gras tradition. The “flashing for beads” didn’t even start till about 100 years after the first Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans. We pleasantly surprised with how tame and family friendly the majority of our experience was!

@@AdventuresofMattandNat the first celebration was in 1703. 100 years after that means that there's been flashing for 220 years. It's ok: we know how ya got those beads.
