🎶 I always feel like…somebody’s watching me… 🎶
Cool looking keytar. Love to play one. Oh yes! 😊👍😊👍
Yes, Kenneth’s melody does bring to mind the synth solo from that Rockwell song 😁
I’m definitely a huge Rockwell fan!
I wish i was skinny as you. i woukd totally rock those outfits bro!!!!!!
Great playing...and looks like a great keytar!
The kid sure does have some style!
Great demo! Looking forward to more gear demos from Kenneth!
Nice job, Kenneth. I have the Roland AX-Edge, but that Korg is cool. I especially like the long touch ribbon below the keys.
What do you think of Korg leaving out the aftertouch?
@@TwinCitiesOxygen Definitely a minus!
As a MUSICIAN I'm greatly disappointed with the way they are trying to substitute our beloved PITCH BEND wheels with those terrible touch ribbons. It's as bad as all the electronic computer music that is flooding our markets. Don't get me wrong guys, but owing to my experience with the Roland AX Synth and how the touch ribbon and that modulation bar all got messed up and I could not get replacements, I think it's a nightmare for us. I will forever love the original Korg RK-100 from 1984. Though it had no sounds I was comfortable with its pitch control handling and I was able to manually fix those wheels when they got any issues. All this digital stuff is messing us up. Just my opinion. Is there a modern Pricey Keytar that has wheels instead of Ribbons? I also appreciated and purchased the Alesis Vortex to my collection just coz it had the WHEEL..
I just bought one, so far I am digging it. One comment though, there are actually 5 separate banks of 8 favorites. So thats 40 favorites. I am gonna set them up with each bank associated with one or two songs and then just switch banks for another set. Pretty Rad. Great video!
Spandex & Leather 😎😍
It would be nice if Korg put out a video showing how to use the vocoder and if it makes a difference if a condenser or dynamic microphone is use. Actually, it would be great if Korg put out a list of recommended microphones, particulary head-worn microphones they recommend.
Prince meets The Cure
dude you pretty much resemble the very idea of "i play the keytar" in this video. this is -art- very cool, super groovy.
Ok. Cool 😎
Nice!! Hope it's a quality vocoder 🙏👍
Seriously cool video. I use my Roland AX to play bass and it sounds fabulous. It's quite large though and I am consideing investing in the Korg.
Alex Turner meets Lou Reed? ✌
Great video. I love my RK100s but have only really used it to control the Kronos live. It's own sounds seem pretty good.
Patrice Rushen and the late George Duke
Great video
Awesome demo, Kenneth! 😎🤘🏻🎹 I’m a huge Korg and yamaha fan(love both brands) and this keytar sounds phenomenal. My brother owns 2 keytars and they sounded totally awesome. Since seeing him performing with one at open jams, I’ve been intrigued by keytars. I’m thinking about getting one myself.
Crack on and buy it then...going on with yourself. Or get your selfish brother to hand one over.
@@mogadon7lol we’re gonna shred on the keytars 🎸🎹

Super random question here but I notice the sound/favorite bank switch on these are threaded steel, so can you screw a switch tip onto the lever like you do with a Gibson guitar?
It’s a very fine thread. Mostly for feel.
@@Syntaur Thank you.
@@ghostofdavid get the glue!
Are there any good case recommendations for this specific keytar? I’m trying to look for a good one.
It would be sweet if they did they red bit in a retro wood finish.
I need your help very much! Can you tell me which power supply /charger is suitable for this keytar? I cannot find how many amperes it should have?
I’ve used the Korg KA-350 power supply and it works fine 👌
@@thecuckoos9336 thank you very much
@@anci108 you’re very welcome!
Is it possible to play on the large ribbon controller without setting it to a scale? I.e. with infinitely variable pitch like a fretless instrument. Also, every demo of the large ribbon just uses it to do fast divebombs, haven't seen anyone play anything slow that indicates how fine-grained the pitch is.
Tocalo dont you want me de human league. Excelente sinte veo que se acomoda a todaslas canciones.
Since its built in synth engine is too good not be used as a sound source in a DAW, I wonder if the USB allows for Midi In as well.
I know you can edit sounds, so it would be strange if you couldn't, but you never know ...
(even the manual doesn't provide the info I'm looking for, let alone the specs on Korg's website ...)
You have to use MIDI host box. Look at MIDI map.
@@barrycooper9451 What page in the manual do you refer to ?
Would that imply disconnecting the Keytar's USB from the computer, connect it to a midi host box, then have the computer talk somehow to the midi host box ??
(the keytar's HW midi is only out, so that implies only usb is suited for receiving midi info)
Don't like the song....but the Keytar sounds dope
🤣🤣🤣 The song is awesome!
Why are they so expensive tho. Lol
It's currently $699! I got it a couple weeks ago. It honestly should've been this price or lower a long time ago. It's no comparison to the Ax Edge so hopefully it stays at this slightly more affordable price point.
Dear Korg, Of all the synths you left off aftertouch, this was not the one to drop that ball on. $999- no wireless, this is 2022, I can control my crockpot from my phone.
Great features otherwise but....
2023 it's currently a slightly more affordable $699. Maybe they read your comment haha.
Just play the keyboard mate.
If he's as bad at that as he is this, I'd rather he didn't thanks.
@@ErraticFaith maybe he should just play the tri-angle.
@@ErraticFaith he's not even bad?
Don’t be afraid to be “bad”. Michael Jackson said “who’s bad”? Don’t be a hater. Hahaha!!!
vocals suck hard😂
