I find a piece that is next to what I own or would like to own then I send the owner a Christmas Card each year expressing my interest of owning their piece if and when they would be interested in selling. It is amazing how planting that seed has worked for us over the years.

OK here’s the deal with hunters buying land when we get a mass majority of hunters buying all large plots of land and turning them into hunting clubs it raises the value of the properties skyrocket and I do mean hi I live in the state of Montana I’m looking for 2 acres and for 2 acres is gonna cost me almost $1 million I’m a retired individual I live on Social Security I wanna own my own property and I can’t do it because people like you and all the hunting buddies don’t give me wrong I’m a hunter but I go publicly and hunting but think about what you’re doing to the people like us just because you have financial means to buy these hundred thousand acres or thousands of acres or hundreds of acres What are you gonna do with it? Are you gonna live on it? Are you just gonna hunt? I’m just gonna keep that land to hunt on I’m not gonna live on it you’re taking away from people like me that just wants to live on it thank you for listening. I appreciate your time.

hunters buying land is not serious concern. foreign investment and large corporations buying land is the problem. land has always appreciated and ever since the last lengthy rate cuts occurred people jumped on those opportunities and prices skyrocketed because people could afford it at that time. I am in my 20s and would like to own more land as I get older but hunters and hunting clubs are not the issue
