- I've been toying with UE5 for the past 2 years and this was a chill project to take a short break from WoW trailer-making (stay tuned lololol!).

@@bc3f4a I didn't like a lot of stuff there. Animations weren't on point, cities had a lot of objects which didn't line up with the ground correctly like the original. Cinematics were butchered in the animation department. A lot of stuff was right, but also a lot of it wasn't.About this video, the Castle seems pretty much perfect, as far as I could imagine it coming to life. Even if some details are changed, they seem better than the original and they keep the change within the acceptable range very well.
@@Kpaxlol Hmm, honestly, I didn't notice those kind of stuff. For me it has the same feeling and atmosphere as the original game. Anyways I'm just glad it didn't end up like Warcraft 3 Reforged, it looks awful.What I don't really understand that they already had the updated 3d models for WoW. Why didn't they just use that instead of the abomination which made by a different company.

My brother and I used to play this when we were kids all the time, we played hot seat and he always picked Castle.
Sadly he died at 35 2 months ago, thanks for this little ray of sunshine coming through my computer screen.

Today I saw the trailer for the new HOMM and the disappointment couldn't have been bigger...
What you've done here is exactly what the new HOMM should look like and not the cartoony towns they've made, that make you want to carve your eyes out with a tea spoon.

Bro I don't wanna burst your bubble but don't you feel like your expectations are a little over-the-top? I mean sure, it would be nice if every town was fully designed in UE5 with 7090ti graphics, but like... You can still understand and accept that the trailer for the new HoMM game still looks very nice, no?
I just can't help but see that many people are taking their expectations to places where they should never be in the first place.
@@tomasskala4405 I get what you mean, but the style of the last few HoMM games (since they started doing them in real time 3D graphics) has clearly gone towards cartoon graphics, rather than the realistic approach of the first 4 games in the series (2D graphics style).
Realistic 3D graphics don't need to be only for people with 7090ti like you mention (LOL), but I'm sure you get the idea (plenty of realistic games out there). It's just a matter of artistic choice (art direction). I don't think having that kind of expectations in a game that was originally "realistic"in nature (just look at the pre-rendered cinematics in HoMM3) is having misplaced expectations. On the contrary, the modern HoMM games have clearly derailed (in every way: artistically, gameplay, and more than likely, revenue wise).
Now, I'm not saying the trailer looks bad, but it is not nearly as appealing (to me and you said it yourself: it would be nice) as the town depiction in the video above. And this video was made by one person...
On the other hand, I don't know what bubble you're talking about :). Ubisoft has the resources to make a realistic looking (Assassins Creed style) HoMM game. They don't do it because they know the game is going to suck, so they went for the "cheaper" style of cartoon models without much texturing/shading work. To me there's no excuse other than saving resources on a game they have the IP for, but know it's not going to do great in terms of sales.
Having said this, everyone has different taste in graphics. I personally would love a HoMM looking like in this video and will not play another HoMM with cartoon graphics.

Музыка, игровой процесс, баланс, замки, юниты, механики - оставить как есть они в оригинале. Ну и в качестве бонуса пакет модов от WOG с скриптами ERA до HOTa, чтобы угодить как фанатам оригинальных 3 частей и всем любителям дополнений.
Увы придётся, грустно вспомнить, что пока права на игру принадлежат жадным убейсофтам, не видать ничего подобного из мной перечисленного.
Только разорение убейсофта и перепродажа прав на серию той же студии Larian, бережно делающей по канонам до сих пор классические пошаговые RPG, может спасти эту серию. Главное, чтобы ещё более худшие, алчные и мерзкие корпорации зла не перекупили серию.
В лучшее верится, и Надежда умирает последней.

Finally someone, who can capture the essence of the original, why working on an Unreal Engine version. Cheers! As much as I appreciate any amount of work put into projects like that, usually they make the thing lose all the magic and soul. Your's saves and amplifies it.

if we going hard to UE5, you should put angels flying near the gate, Champions doing jousting,mages roaming at the abbey, archers, soldiers guarding the castle, griffin sleeping on top(spawn point)/flying around. in any case its are great job so far

I remember as a teenager with a Christian upbringing how the concept of the "Portal of Glory" blew my mind, the concept of being able to request angels to support your campaign was incredible. I don't think I ever enjoyed playing the other factions half as much.
This rendition of the artwork makes it even more awe-inspiring than I remember it.

I would certainly buy this game with this level of graphics of cities and the map itself. The only thing needed above graphics are campaigns and maps such as Paragon and etc. Ready to pay 100 usd for that.

Господи, сделайте ремастер 3 героев именно в этом стиле, Ничего лишнего не надо, в этой части всё прекрасно , нужна лишь вот эта графика. Никогда не интересовали герои выше 4-ой части. Поэтому только тройка и четвёрка, только хардкор
Генератор карт улучшить, мультиплеер современный в игру встроить + юнитов немного пробалансить. Хотя бы так и уже чувствуется make Heroes great again!
