I had a chat with the British Army online chat correspondents through my account portal today. I was told the last time the British Army accepted applications from commonwealth citizens was in 2019. Honestly, I’m almost giving up on this because it’s the situation is worrisome to me due to the uncertainty. It could even be opened without your notice because it’s not announced. I wanted to share the screenshot of the chat today. But unfortunately I can’t. Come to think of it, does it mean people have not been able to apply from 2019 till date?

But since my initial visa refusal even my CW application was withdrawn despite intensive training for basic training etc. Now I'm in a limble what could be the best advice 1) I reapply again which will take long 2)I travel to the UK & walk into the careers office or 3) perhaps get in contact with my old CSM manager.

Hi Sam have just submitted my RGMD form through my GP but was asked to submit additional RGMD form from Nigeria as my residency in the uk is less than 3years, I’m 2years and some months old in the uk. But on my Nigeria RGMD I had a treatment for malaria back in January 2022, the army doctor noted this but passed my application on to continue but noted that due to my malaria Episode in 2022, I’ll be invited for face to face medical assessment with the medical team, I’d like to know if treatment of malaria back in 2022 would have any effect on my application. Since my 2years and some months in the uk, I have not been sick or visit the GP for any consultation or treatment.
