The new Nürburgring GP circuit has been a Formula 1 track until very recently, the last time they raced there was in 2020. The version of the Nürburgring you're racing on here however, the old Nordschleife, hasn't been a Formula 1 track since the 70's, when Niki Lauda crashed, burned, an then they made Hollywood movie about it😅
They have a race for normal people as well in two weeks.

@@michiadams the track they raced on until 2020 was Hockenheim, not the Nürburgring
@@koenkrabbenborg4823 Yes and no. They started to race at both Hockenheim and the Nürburgring every year at some Point in the 90's when Schumacher started to win World Championships. After he retired Hockenheim and the Nürburgring started to alternate between years until 2013, after which the Nürburgring dropped off the calendar. After that they raced at Hockenheim until 2019. Fir 2020, the German GP was set to drop off the Calendar entirely because F1's event fes were rising and noone wanted to keep paying for a race in Germany. That was until Covid hit, and the Nürburgring became one of the replacement tracks for what would normally have been the Asian/American part of the season. That was F1's last race in Germany to this day. Obviusly I simplifyed that in my original comment, because it's an essay in itsself to explain and it doesn't really matter for what I was saying😅
If I can make a Suggestion for rider signings next season, Tim Torn Teutenberg would be a german who is also located in North Rhine Westphalia where the team rembe is from

Benjiiiiii, your return to career mode made me buy the game again after years. Completely bugged and honestly a regression on many aspects since 10y ago (crazy, right?) but still quite fun. Get REMBE to win the TDF!

Man the game really played you with Herzog's potential, in some of my savegames he maxes out above 80 cobbles or around 78 hill, and he already starts with 72 medium mountain and 73 hill.
That happens when you get default db stats 😅
I signed him to my team a week ago, and he is a handy little rider for me. He came to my attention when he showed up in my messages as winning a U23 cobble race.

@@nealm6764 Yes his stat limits are somewhat randomized if you play with World DB, you can have him end up as a top tier puncheur or cobbles specialist, very rarely even as a GT contender, but sometimes he won't exceed 75 in any stat.
@@cio993 Yes, I am using World DB, and also still playing 23 until they fix the sprint bug in 24. So yeah, not really applicable to Benji's save I admit.

Hey benji. Do you have any tips for scout? I want to build portuguese team. But i feel hard to get the talent riders because i cant scout all of them.
For exemple, if i have 3 scouts and only one scounting the other 2 will scout the already found ones??

It seems all the content makers play that way. They don't send a guy or 2 to front, it is either sucking wheels or sprint train. sigh.
Which db do you use ?
Funbase of this game isn't huge so i decided to ask here,, maybe someone answers. I would like to try the game, what version would you recommend?
I am not cyclist fun but i like manager games and by watching these videos i found this game pretty interesting. As i know nothing about cycling i don't particularly need to have up-to-date teams, real riders etc. Specs of my laptop are also worse than of my Microwave and while gparphics of this gmae don't look particularly good i gave no idea how heavy it is on CPU. As i asked chatgpt what version would be the best for my pc (giving fps referances of other games i played) it suggested 2020. I am ok with playing 25 fps btw but i assume chatgpt suggested better experience. Now is the most important question. Will i miss a lot gameplay wise by playing 2020 version or is it like with other managers where changes are little to none and only database of players changes? I am asking because maybe you suggest newer version because, for example, there were some big changes that worth sacrificing performance for. I generally check performance on pirate version and then buy the one i find the best so i am open to any version suggestions as i can check them without spending money first.
You should have clicked on the "evolution" tab on that 31 y.o. to see if his ratings were in decline before extending him for 3 years.

@@BenjiNaesenTV I figured it was probably out of respect for the real team riders. Some content makers in FM treat the real-life players on their chosen team like complete trash even when the real life team is following the content. Ouch.

It is.
Imagine having a yearly game for 39,99 €, that is just a lazy minor update each year with zero substantial changes since years. Have one of the most famous cycling youtubers do a series on it. And everybody can see how horribly broken a core mechanic of the game is (to repeat: despite any major updates to previous years). Upvote for Benji tho
It is still a fun game if you are into cycling and team management. I buy it every couple of years, since around 2005. Also enjoy it for around 10 or more seasons each edition. It isn't perfect though, as you point out, and I won't buy 24 until the sprints bug is fixed.

2025 will be a Conti season, 2026 a ProTeam season, 2027 early WT wildcards I guess. 2028 win the tour de france. 😂
Yago can potentially still become a World Class rider if his potential changes within the next 2 seasons or so. I think it is 21 or younger at season start for them to be able to change potential. And it always happens on the 6th of January.
