He is an amazing sales person. Wouldn’t bet long term on these trades/pitches but short term he is pumping his own investments
Jealous? Given the position, you would too.
Says Meet Kevin soon to be clone.
@@patrickmccarthy5617 LMAO. and now he has sold all his holdings in his SPACS companies. only thing doing good is sofi. Clover health is being investigated by the SEC. SO yes Chamath is a sales person
facts he is a manipulator
@@JahanzebHussain-wn3prand a MAGA supporter.
he might be one of the biggest pump n dump con artists of all time but he definitely gives insightful talks
He is incredibly skilled at seeming sincere and trustworthy. Why do you think he's talking at Wharton? Or on CNBC? It's to generate a face towards the public.
this is new to me, got any info i can check out?

So, he raises private capital to acquire companies and in each of those circumstances he’s over payed or the companies weren’t as good as previously thought = low price cap?
Or is there intention? Does he receive compensation for it? I don’t understand
Chamath king of SPAC scammers

Phenomenal chat! Thanks for sharing!
Respect for the guardian standing there without moves for 120 mins straight, and yet to be interested in the lecture.
Great interview guys. Thanks for posting.
Very insightful talk, I feel smarter after watching this. Really like how gave personal accounts of his life. Even being from immigrant background he achieved the American dream.
If the all-in podcast had an only-fans, the people in the audience would be its subscribers...
😂lmao wait what are u implying exactly
'fight your discomfort' - awesome interview
This was excellent.
If I were to assign it a title, it’d be..

Great talk!
Never agreed with Chamath more than this talk. Really appreciate the heartfelt wisdom you shared. Glad to see you finding your path. Would suggest finding your worth and satisfaction in the God of the Bible. Thanks!
Great y’all, learned a lot
Thnx for the time stamps

Amazing interview! Could someone drop a link to that 182 page IRA summary he is talking about?

Thank you sir. I guess that IS the condensed version he was talking about. Lol
Hi I would also love to read the PDF if you have it available
Thankyou so much for sharing this. This interview has meaning to me and resonates in so many ways (minus unhappy childhood 🙏) when i reflect on my own personal experiences of life. 👍 I’m a small uneducated retail investor, with a question:
carbon in atmosphere =>Carbon ICE exhaust capture + intermittent solar=>physical carbon fibre stored to produce automotive (carbon)car bodies ie solar powered production driven carbon auto body/3D printed car frames removed co2 from atmosphere.
Why cant we do this? (Especially if energy>zero cost)
Chamath if you see this, thank you for taking the time and for the honesty here!
This is a perfect exposition of why the answer to the question, "business or engineering?" is always "engineering".
Lol, why?
Anyone got a link to the IRA summary that Chamath referenced?
Great chat
This has given me much more respect to Chamath
that is his pitch ... rags to riches ... all about pump and dump .. no real quality here
Anybody know where can i learn more about green solar tech related news ?
Many Thanks for the presentation and interview. Chamath is the MOST articulate VC and Billionaire. He delivers his speech like nobody else.
I love Chamath. This dude commands mad respect.
Good entertainment but why doesn’t he talk about his SPAC pump scams?
it's your fault for wanting a quick buck
@@tuckerbugeater lol 😅 sec will say soon
Put yourself in a room with Chamath and ask him yourself.
It was the volks who bought spacs share and made him rich and popular
I consider him a smart money chaser or fast money trader and not a traditional value investor.
I remember him doing tweets at 6am in the morning about SPAC deals he was doing at that time so he can pump and dump them before retail investors realize the deal wasn’t good enough.
Great interview! Love listening to this guy.
All-in pod audience, of course. But you can't not respect Chamath. Amazing person. Besties are best
i like to see the chamath IRA report, id read it all

00:03:00 This is well established concept in psychology that when you have a harsh childhood you can either become the good child (workoholic, achiever) or become the bad child (self sabotage, addict). There is no other way. They will be often siblings. However you still compensate for the inferiority complex from your childhood. Even if you the successful one it is good idea to seek help.
This guy keeps it so REAL
hes a crook.
his SPACs are a REAL money grab from people like YOU :))

This is the guy who dumps SPACs on retail
So?
@@FirasFreajah "i scam people due to their ignorance, and gaslight them as it's their fault to not trust me bro, it's on you bro." Trust being broken ruins markets and societies, people trust Chamath, he's not a random guy off the street, and then for someone a retail ignorant who's not financially an expert is sold on the pitch of this guy losing a lot of their money repeated at scale over a society is long term destabilizing and can cascade into a financial system that no one will eventually use or trust because the regulators allow for bad behavior to go abound. That's why there are accreditation laws, a tax on ignorance is horrible for a society. We all have met many ignorant people everyday, it's a form of abuse if we take advantage on them and inflict trauma, it's why we have fairly low trust today.
@@FirasFreajah you are the retail ... did you buy any? If you did ... then you would know "so"
Great conversation gents - only critique I will offer - black pants, blue jacket and white tennis shoes was not a good choice. Also, sit up!
Could you please add timecodes?
Saying banks are monolithic and comparing them to tech companies..my friend, finance has been there and done that. Finance has created value many times that of tech.
What does he mean about the comment around 32:00 about the new generation making trillions based on what's going to happen? He says the previous generation benefited from zero interest rates but he doesn't give a specific for the next catalyst very confusing
Totally onboard with Chamath's 2 points. However, could he be wrong, and if so, how/why? The main question I have is, how does shifting sources of conflict from oil to minerals for solar panels increase peace?
The answer is it doesn't Africa and the resource curse is evidence of that. Look at every major source of something as simple as lithium. Who tried to fund the coups, wars, corrupt politicians, corruption etc etc. It's just a hot mess.
It doesn't as long as the Dollar is the world reserve. It's not in the interest of the USA
Key materials are spread all over the Earth and refining processes are improving rapidly. These materials are, for the most part, recyclable . Oil is not.
I'm only 25 minutes into the speech, but I don't want to overlook this opportunity. I'm a big fan of the humble, sincere Chamath! I'm not sure I've seen this side of him before. I've learned a great deal from him in the past. It's pretty clear there's a lot more to learn.
s a result of the Inflation Reduction Act, the Tribal Energy Finance Program now holds $20 billion in lending authority plus $80 million to administer the program, including paying credit subsidy costs. And tribes may apply their loan toward project costs directly related to design, engineering, financing, and construction of eligible energy development projects. The Inflation Reduction Act also enabled tribes for the first time to receive direct pay for tax credits offered to certain types of energy projects there is the money Heppolt wind hydrogen.

Not sure about the green hydrogen bet. Doesn't even really exist yet & even if it did, would need huge amounts of water. Then you have wind/solar = (free) electricity. Wonder if Chamath somewhat contradicted himself?
oh god, chamath is teaching the next generation how to 'steelman'
Its funny to see him sitting with that suit buttoned entire time.

Wharton needs to teach professional presence and confidence to these interviewers. Not impressed
They are broke af kids. Cut them some slack.
Wasn't that bad.
And besides, give these kids a break. Interviewing a famous billionaire in front of hundreds of your students when you're 25 years old for over an hour ain't easy and not sure what your expectations are--these are bschool students not performance arts/journalism students.
Nobody listns to Chamath anymore, right? I mean jeez. If he robbed the rich like he does retail they'd have him stuffed in a trunk.
