i honestly didn't expect the crash to happen there i tought contact would happen with the purple and orange car it's a shame that that happened but still could have been a lot worse watching you confused after the contact was quite sad but props for cathing up to the back of the field you had a good pace just bad luck

The more I look at the incident, the more it seems that the green car steered towards you, while you were entitled to that space. It is obvious that you are navigating the car to the right, to make the next corner.
But, that's part of the racing as well, I guess. None the less, great driving, amazing content and you have mega support here, Dirk. Keep it up!

Bad luck on that overtake, though. What was the judgement? I would suppose it was deemed a racing incident? Though, it does seem like he moved in on you.
I really like how you arranged everything on the top of the screen, the TV broadcast window the other cockpit viewing angle and the Tachometer... i forgot the english word for it lol
But yeah, really really good arrangement for us viewers.

hahah thanks man! Appreciate this comment! I will let the captions stay longer next time. I got a very harsh 30 sec time penalty and 2 points deduction of the championship. The telemetry does not matter, just sucks that the sd card was broken. I speak Dutch as I am born in the Netherlands. I will do some more singing haha.

This crash is not your fault, but overtaking these two was perfect :D
Technical issue: If you're using a GoPro as a POV, random camera shutdown may mean the camera overheats (what's the temperature in the car during the race? ;) ). Maybe reduce the recording resolution to Full HD (not 4K) and the camera will record longer and more stable.

If I remember correctly, it's (no longer) a GoPro. I remember him saying that if he'll use a GoPro he'll be disqualified.

Too bad for the flat tyre! But at least the car was not badly damaged and you were OK. Did you talk with the guy involved in the crash with you? I guess it was considered by the stewards as a race incident. I'm wondering how distracting it can be, messing around with the action cam during a real race. OK, this time you were basically trying to catch up with the back of the grid, but still thrilling ehehe

Shame about the crash but was a good recovery especially considering the gap to the back of the field even after the safty car. Did they explain why they found you at fault? From your pov it looks like you were far enough along side to be given space but ended up just coming across into you trying to defend
You should put a gopro facing the rear if thats allowed by the regulation/team!

I've always wanted to become a porsche cup driver, no previous racing background, no teams, nothing except GT7 E-sports amateur teams, as a pro yourself, what would you recommend more, join some sort of racing club or what could i do

Keeping your place isn't easy. Everybody is playing tricky (and nasty) games.
For me Porsches are always cars that look easy to drive but not easy to race
They’re very tricky to race cuz of the rear engine trying to kill you whenever you lift
6:20 Why have you been penalized? It seemed that you were keeping your line and it was not even time to turn for corner so going straight shouldn't be a reason to penalize if there isn't any other reason of course

In my racing our penalties are just post race 2 positions down, Rear Of Field and DQ.
