Very excited indeed. But they now have to get rid of players who can only play their old style, such as Faf and Pollard, and bring in players such as Krappie vd Berg, Sanele Nohamba, Sascha, Manie and Henco van Wyk, all playmakers.
This is only the beginning of a more evolving approach of how the Boks wants to take the game forward. Credit must go to all involved. One has to go to South Africa to see how South African schools play rugby. This team will never die. The younger generation is growing and they are inky going to get better. Are you sure it’s not only late in slow mo replays? The ref was “ok”. Not good, but not terrible. But to say he was biased against the Irish is to completely ignore Porter’s shenanigans in pulling SA’s prop out of alignment and down. Sometimes right in front of the ref.
