Even after being a sequel to Gossip girl which was one of the biggest shows of its time. It still did just 550,000 views in 4 days on HBOmax. If you still think these numbers are good then good for you. But numbers don't lie, and not to mention the abysmal critical reception unlike the first one which had critical acclaim

The only criticism I can give the show is that all their storylines seem to span 1 episode each. Unlike the original with the whole Where was Serena Storyline....
it feels like this show is just one huge LV ad, most of the outfits do not correspond with the characters and they have been costumed to include certain designers rather than costumed in relation to their characters. stan lunet tho
Exactly, the OG were cordinated with their personalities that's why the fashion of GG was so well known blaire was preppy and on occasion, Serena was the risk taker, trendy and Chuck and Nate were two side of rich white boy style. This series is hot mess when it comes to outfit. Very basic even when they have 'influencer' lifestyle

And basic doesn't mean bad basic just means not unique to stand out. I can pick any dress from the show and it would be hard to tell which character wore it because it could be anyone, they lack individuality. @@arpanasarkar6136 but they do have specific styles monet has old money glamour luna dresses soft and elegant zoya where’s whatever she feels like which goes with her character Julien has a more modern influencer look maxs outfits are usually non gender specific and sexy if u watch the video of the stylist explaining the fashion a lot of thought actually went into it
