  • This is a video of the procedure found at enginepartsdiagram.com/reset-t... for resetting the Nissan Titan Tire Pressure Monitoring System after the sensors have been replaced. According to the website it should apply to 2003-2016 although mine is a 2005.

    Thanks for these instructions. Worked great on my 2007 titan. I installed 4 new Schrader 28204 sensors a couple days ago. My TPMS light would blink for 30 seconds after I started the truck and then stay on permanently. This solution worked but I had to do the procedure 4 times before it 'took' and the TPMS light went off after learning. I only had to drive about a mile after the 4th procedure and the learning was complete and the light went off. The other three times, the learning mode blinking would turn to a solid, on all the time, light after 30 seconds. Just as if I never did the procedure at all.

    FYI. After you add air 34psi. Go 45mph for one minute exactly and the light will go out. This is if you just have low tire pressure light

    I gave up and took my 2010 titan to Discount Tire. They had the sensors in stock and replaced all 4 of them for 259 dollars. Peace of mind an a warranty.

    Before you resetted the tpms sensor on the Titan was it connected and could you show me where if it was connected?

      Gilbert it has been a few years, but I'm pretty sure the plug just dangles or is taped up. I don't recall it being plugged into anything.

  • @chicanopridealvarez1385

    Have you ever made a video of how to remove the Titans windshield wiper tank

    Isn't there a fuse to just unplug the thing?

    not sure i understand why the different pressures on each tire; i believe the pressure should be 35-38 lbs per tire

    So after I do this procedure, I should expect this loud sound ?🤔

    • @FearlessMods
      @FearlessMods  Před 3 lety

      Yes, because now you have low tire pressure. Once you inflate them all back to the correct pressure it should clear

      that's normal operation at the end of the procedure before you air all the tires back up.

    Thanks worked for me on a 2010 Nissan Titan. I bought 4 sensors had Walmart install them, but their tool wouldn't reset the new sensors.
    I tried this after leaving Walmart, the icon stopped blinking but never went off, drove all the way home, still icon was on solid.
    I repeated the steps once truck hit 55 light stopped flashing, then a few moments later went off hasn't came back on, I pulled truck over put 35 in each tire, so far icon hasn't came back on.
    Again thanks.
