Did Anthony dress up like a high school bully on purpose to bully submissive Jack
*submersive and breathable
great comment
helppp
What's funny is that they're both the type of people who would get stuffed in a locker.
@@bananabear2699 HELP
Antonoff is just an anagram of Ffantono
Jackthony Fantantonoff here
Incredible
hahahahahahah
coincidence, i think NOT
That’s actually insanity.
OMG you're interviewing Jack Antonoff???? I mean this in all seriousness when I say, it's incredible how far you've come Fantano. If you're getting pop heavweights like this on your channel, I daresay you've reached the big leagues. Mega congratulations to you on your success. You're a dedicated worker and you deserve it all.
I mean he interviewed Damon Albarn a while ago too
Damon Albarn and Julien Casablancas were interviewed too :(
Mike Dean too, he’s had big hitting producers on before
That pfp of yours tells me a lot….
@@northgeorgiahex6663 exactly what I thought 💀💀💀💀
anthony time travels and interviews himself from when he still had hair
He looks exactly like Sufjan Stevens to me lol.
We’re one step closer to a Lorde and Taylor Swift interview let’s goo
I dont see Taylor doing it really,or Lorde by that matter.A PR for Taylor will just search through his channels and tell her no.
@@dice581 i mean, Anthony is always dismissive and almost condescending when reviewing Taylor idk why
@@dice581Taylor herself probably knows about Fantano because she is close with both Jack and St Vincent (She also reads reviews on her work), but I don’t see her ever showing up at a youtuber’s livestream especially because it would be a lot for her publicists to take care of in case she says something controversial :(
@@yasminegomez5862 idk,i feel he does it for the clicks sometimes. He was trashing Taylor for stuff other artists that were just as famous as Taylor were doing because obviously it brings more views aka more money.Sometimes he is fair, sometimes he is just a hater, idk.A lot of the rap community are like that with her since her beef with kanye.
@@yasminegomez5862 He was before, but he has been respectful towards her post-evermore tbh… Taylor would never agree to it though regardless of what he said
Jack making sure Anthony was a Bruce Springsteen guy before continuing with the interview is so on brand
Anthony don’t be so hard on yourself, you did a good job filming the love scene with Jack.
Melon just joined the miles high club last week and he already made a scene by beating meat for an hour on top of a flying Antonov 225, 48,000 feets high. He gotta pay for the stains tho..
how can he not get hard
Jack Antonoff has always seemed to display an unshakable sincerity in everything he does, and I'll always see that as his greatest asset as an artist.
I wholeheartedly agree
All the pop girlies passing around jack like a blunt
I swear I saw this on Reddit lol
@@robertmancha6257 it was on the lorde single review iirc
Taylor, Lana, Lorde, and St.Vincent throwing Jack around

@@charlotteaitchison2922 Nah, it's getting old at this point. The girls deserve -better- a different soundscape now,
Ok it was funny the first time, but you really didn't have to make 38 "Jack-off," jokes in the interview Anthony. I think Jack started to get sick of it around the 30 minute mark.
The album is so incredibly good, I just ran through it. The vibes are indescribable but also so impeccable. Jack should feel very proud imho. Gonna enjoy listening to it many more times. Excited to watch this.
Hearing him talk about it, really yeah. Nails it. It's a moody album but with none of the negative connotations to that word to me anyways. Iunno, I really loved it and think he really did something swell with this.
This album is so timeless just as much as Gone Now. I know I'll be listening to this still in 3 years.
I'm only halfway through it and have caught myself repeating a few songs before they even ended. I've loved all their albums (especially unplugged) and this one feels no different. I will say so far Gone Now still might be my favorite, but it resonates with me anytime I listen to it. I hope to see Anthony talk about this new album since he's always included the others in the YUNO Review series.
@@xDominoskax The Tiny Desk version of Everybody Lost Somebody is the canon version for me now. I can't hear it any other way.
This was one of the best interviews with anyone I've ever watched. Like, I'm shellshocked by how fascinating and insightful and joyful it was. I'm not a needle drop fan but... maybe I am?
Is it me or has Jack always had a look that reminds you of the 60s its gotta be the glasses. He stood out to me when I watched the video for We Are Young, which in itself has a 60s Teenypopper vibe, its why I love that song
its crazy the way Jack tlks about the things Bruce did for young artists from NJ is EXACTLY what he's doing now, it inspires me so much how loudly and proudly he loved New Jersey that it's made me feel the same
I relate to him so much with how he says ‘fuck’ literally every sentence lol, it’s nice to hear artists just being themselves and not cleaning up for camera
ikr it was sooo relatable 😭😭✨✨
A well meaning dad has dinner with his high strung son
Which is which
Jack was dropping a great quote you'd want to type into a pretty background every 5 minutes...He even TALKS like a legend.
I love Anthony's questions it's so interesting and Jack is so clever one of the best producer and artist in pop music right now, thank you for everything
I never knew Ants had on and off switches, very informative Melon!
Jack Antonoff is just a guy where you hear him talk about what he loves with such expression that he makes you want to go after what you love with the same passion. The amount he cares, the amount he thinks about it. it's just amazing to hear him.
Great interview! Wish this was 2 hours long. Hopefully that part 2 is coming.
this was an amazing interview and made me pause it several times to listen to his records. Its inspiring to see how honest and self aware he is about his art
Was super cool to see how he opened up at the end a lot more and was cracking jokes and being a bit of a smart Alec. Would love to see a part two now they have a report.

The album is amazing, I was totally blown away!
Always known about Jack through his work with Lorde, Lana, Clairo etc etc - and Fun. ocf, how could I forget!?
But never taken the time to check out Bleachers.
The album release was the perfect opportunity, and oh my god I'm so happy I did.
Last time an alt rock album made me feel this excitement was with Declan McKenna's 'Zeros' from last year.
The track 'Chinatown' had me hooked instantly, had to listen to it 4 times before I moved on to the next track. It just keeps on going, so powerful! Same vibes with '45' as well.
Let's talk about 'How dare you want more' though! Oh man, it's such a great song. Organic, energetic, it's a studio live performance if there ever was one. The duel between the guitar and sax, and the sax taking off in the end... I was on a jog when listening to the album, and it just had me running faster and faster. It was a crazy experience, I felt like I could run forever.
Could talk about the other songs as well, but I wanted to highlight these. The album is incredible, and I'm now listening to the rest of Bleacher's discography. I can tell I'm going to be a huge fan!
Thank you Jack for all of your amazing work throughout the years, both with your own projects and collabs! 'Melodrama' is my favorite album ever, and I can't wait to see what you and Lorde have been cooking up with on 'Solar Power'!
Jack Antonoff talking about his thoughts as planets. He truly is a galaxy brain
Lotta star power in one chat room. Two guys I admire, as well. Looking forward to this.
Ok....
Who's melon patch do I gotta weed to get a part 2? The convo was just getting started, fellas! It was like y'all were atoning the last four years of American cultural stagnation, hitting the nail on the head ... and the tone was the glimmering hope of funky revival.
If I could ask Jack to talk about something .... maybe it would be greasy spoon diners. I liked the stop making it hurt vid. It was over the top. But it checks all the boxes of loving the grits of your hometown, and understated Americana .
I think Jack just took the sadness out of my Saturday Night
Hopefully not out of context tho
Watched this live and it was so fun! What a great pair.
Getting some fantastic interviews man, this one might top it off in terms of talent
After listening to the new Bleachers album. I hope you love it as much as I do and give it a good review.
Listening to Jack Antonoff talk about creating music is literally sex.
Jack Antonoff is def the type of guy to keep his glasses on during in sex.

I knew this interview's gonna happen after getting vibes that Ant is interested in Jack on the St. Vincent interview. Manifesting Lorde or Clairo 🤞🏽
Really proud of Melon to be interviewing the legendary filmmaker Woody Allen, my man's going places
Happy release day, third Bleachers album!
Dang you guys flowed really well, nice interview phantano
1:00:56 this had me dying 😂😂
But the whole last segment was so important for the culture!!
I feel like more interviews like this should be done with Jack, he has so much more to say and I’m really here for it.
Okay for the first time & I never pictured this but I’ll give you a SOLID 8 to a DECENT 9 for the interview Melon.
Great Interview!!
@@nya55155 I think it was Anthony calling himself a nice guy but Jack internally not agreeing with that assessment but being too polite to contradict him.
@@jeffreyroedel9804 pretty sure its just jack being a goofy guy lol, dont think its anything deeper than that
@@killerch33z Yeah fair enough. Maybe he thought Anthony would laugh in that moment after he kind of didn't affirm his "I'm a nice guy" comment, which I would have for sure, but Anthony didn't lol.
Interview went deep. From ennui in a modern tech world to choice paralysis.
Melon's really killing it with the interviews lately. Great conversation
I laughed more than I thought I would and learned a bunch too. Damn this was awesome
LOVE THIS
Jack gives an interesting perspective of the state of music as a famous music producer. Awesome interview
Jack Antonoff in The Sparks Brothers is a great talking head interview.
As a fellow New Jerseyan, I take pride in having Jack amongst our rank.
I wonder what planet he came from, and if he will bring more of his kind. He is fucking awesome.
I need Jack Antonoff to realize he’s Jack Antonoff.
He really do be a pop god

Gracias meloncito pretty cool 👍🏼
love that Rx Bandits reference Jack :)
They should put these on Spotify or apple podcasts
Bleachers, Billie, Silk Sonic, Logic, and Isiah Rashad all dropped today, it's a good week for music
not me like crying hearing Jack talk about New Jersey the same exact way I see New Jersey
That New Jersey talk was really interesting
Since Jack knows TayTay, Anthony should ask for a connect. Be crazy if Melon scores an interview with Swift.
Taylor would never agree to come on his stream even if she does her pr team would never let it happen
I would love to see him and Taylor having a conversation. Taylor is so good at talking about how she made her songs
@@earlisonline taylor is extremely well-spoken in general kind of like Fantano himself so maybe she would feel more comfortable talking about her masters and the rerecording process
Hopefully. Taylor seem to have weeded out boring/dumb interviewers over the years so maybe Ant could reach her radar by now.
Also, if that happens, I want Ant to ask Taylor if the 4chan lurking theory is true. I need the answer in my life.
Taylor seems a little too high-profile. It’s a lot more likely for Anthony to score interviews with people like Carly Rae Jepsen, or even Lorde WAY before Taylor
Don't know how it could work now but I'm wishing for a Matty Healy interview someday.
Great interview, Anthony
The sadness has been lifted thanks tomato man
19:02 them laughing at the same time is so cute
Spankin it for an hour on camera isn't an interview Anthony
I feel everything that he says so much - like on other level
the thing about the algorithm showing us what we already know is imo based on selling. If they “magically” continue to read your mind and your tastes, it gives the illusion of intimacy with the algorithm and that it’s your friend
I feel like i relate a lot more to jack after this interview. Also thought the album was great
NO EFFING WAY!!!! 100% favorite artist no question! Got his new signed album coming in with some killer singles
melon and tomato man went well together
