Of course it could have survived this long! The cold temperatures and snow preserved it. Allowing for it to remain for longer than if it were at sea level. Just like the man they found preserved, cannot specifically think of the name they gave him but because he was so high up in the mountains covered from snow so often he was preserved and in a remarkable condition. Also in antiquity we lived longer we were not as devolved as we are now. As some scientists lie and say that we have evolved becoming this from that is a crock and a lie. Also the reason we lived longer is because we were more in touch with our creator and the world as we know it wasn't as polluted and poisoned just as we are more polluted and poisoned and dumb down. So just as we live longer and ate better and was closer to the Lord and nature and studying the stars and signs that we were born in, which modern-day Christianity would have us believe is devil worship is all hockey. The stars in the sky are fixed and stay where they are at forever. So when we are born under a certain time and that is our sign for all time there has been a some slippage but not much but it has remained the same throughout all of history. So therefore of course something would survive longer and weather conditions because it was built better and built stronger. My Youth Pastor told me about NOAH’S ARK 🛶 back in 1995. He told me that it is on MT. ARARAT in TURKEY 🇹🇷 & that humans had a hard time getting to it. I believe this is Noah’s Ark. God had Noah build the Ark & take his family & 2 of every animal to repopulate the world later. We r from the line of Shem here. Ham & Japheth’s lines were in the European & African regions. People can deny Noah’s Ark & any other Biblical stories all they want. That doesn’t change the fact that they r true.

Ron Wyatt accompanied him. Mainstream Christianity wanted no part of his efforts but the Turkish government set up a visitors center there. It's to waste now, often this happens to good men who do not tow the party line. Lot's of good solid information in this book if you are willing to open your mind a little.

It is what happened to David Fasold who himself was a fundamentalist christian and was not attacking christianity.
But he got a double dose because the secular scientific world did not like where his hypothesis might lead.
David Fasold passed away in 1998 and is reported to have restated his belief in the Durupinar site afterall.
But, his fascinating and compelling hypothesis gets conveniently swept under the rug.

I think something that's lost about The Great Flood is, in order for all of the animals to come to Noah, the Earth had to have been one landmass. That puts no doubt in my mind, about the ferocity of that event. It basically tore a seam, all the way around the Earth. It tore the continents into pieces. Shoved the land, upward to create the mountains. God terraformed the Earth into something toned down, and a shadow of its former self. We are the result of the continued disobedience of man.

I saw the title and thought, “Didn’t they find the ark already?”
This is what I've been pointing out. That the genesis story is actually much older than what people say. That the telling of Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden are much older than the stories told by the sumerians and such. If this ark dates back 40000 years, how far back does the origin story really go? All I'm saying is, other civilizations copied this story, and the creation story, and adapted it for their culture. Not the other way around. Just as they cannot find traces of the garden of eden, but can find traces of lost civilizations thousands of years ago. Yet, remnants of the garden remain elusive. Why? Because... I say the origin story is much much older than any lost civilization that can be found.

To those who believe: You do understand the story of Noah was plagiarized from a much older story. The protagonist was a Summerian named, Ziusudra (Akkadian - Utnapishtim), The story; The Epic of Gilgamesh.
Genesis - 6th - 5th century BCE No known authorship. Attributed to Moses, but he probably didn't write any of the Pentateuch.
Epic of Gilgamesh - 2000 - 2100 BCE
If Noah's story was not his, that leads us to conclude; This couldn't be Noah's Ark. It Never existed to begin with.
Same goes for the Ten Commandments... Hammurabi pre-dates them by over 1000 years. The verbiage is quite similar even.

Funny how the ark still to this day has Not been found. In order to have 2 of each species, you'd have to have enough food for every animal for the time in the boat. Elephants eat soo much food a day that the amount of food just for the elephants eat, would fill up most the boat, and that's just food for 2 elephants. Think about how much the other animals would need to eat......
First you make some big assumptions. You assume there was many many animals needed. However Noah only had to deal with kinds of animals. You don't need every bred of the dog family. You only need two of the kind. So the genetic material was present to make a wolf, a jackal and a poodle. You don't need many different cats, but only two of the kind that have genetic material to create a lion, tiger, panther and a house cat. (Basically each kind of animal is losing genetic material creating traits that make up today's species.
Next you have to consider that Noah probably was not dealing with full grown elephants, lions, bears and such as you would want the young animals because they would have a longer life to reproduce and refill the earth. Also, young animals tend to be more docile and hibernate during storms and would not need to to feed them as often.
Keep in mind how long Noah had for a warning. He could have hired people to help him build the ark and collect food from them in the hopes of ministering to them and calling them to repentance.
Not only would he had enough room if they had young animals, but they would be easier to train and need less work to maintain them.

I've honestly never taken this story literally. In my opinion Noah built some type of structure to keep bad energy out because the Ark of the covenant, which uses the same word ark, keeps a bad energy in.

Whether are not there is truth to the fact that a wooden structure buried in glacier near the summit of greater Ararat (a volcanic mountain) is manmade as claimed by a Chinese expedition, has never really been confirmed. One thing is certain, it isn't the long-lost ark of Noah.
Anyone looking at the radar scans done on the ship-like object at the Durupinar site (located not on a volcanic mountain, but in the mountain ranges of Ararat) immediately can figure out that it's a buried man-made structure, and quite possibly the ship or ark of Noah - no question about it. Every other object in the vicinity claiming to be the ark has to be taken with a grain of salt. There was only one ark according to historical records, and the Durupinar buried structure fill the bill.

I do not believe you would be able to find Noah's ark due to the fact that the ark, would probably be the only usable and readily accessible wood to build a house shelter to use for firewood to use for heat and light torches cooking food boiling water etc. Do you want to be burning any wood from the land as the water recited and how did the water reside did it just jump up into the air and get stuck.?
And it all freeze up and just gather up at the North and South Pole?
