Frankly, she’s the only one who looks like a star in her group. While for Becca’s Bellas, they’re all unique with star quality. It’s obviously a casting choice but I can’t help thinking this group is basically Hailee with a bunch of pretty girls but Becca’s group is so much better. Heh!

@@RedWhiteAndBlue4evr1 nah it it definitely isn’t, she can genuinely do that with her voice… all artists use auto tune in their studio versions of songs just to touch up certain vocals and what not so this wouldn’t be anything out of the usual realm of auto tune. you also still have to have some semblance of what your hearing in the final product for auto tune to sound as realistic as it would in this clip but I don’t believe it’s heavily auto tuned at all.
Hailee is an incrdeible talent. Acting 10, singing 10, looks 10! No more questions! :)

The Asian girl and whoever did the main vocal lines from @1:18 while Hailee/Emily did ad-libs deserve a spin-off.
It's gonna be tough if theproducers didn't think ahead and hired a bunch of girls who just knows how to carry a choreograph and cannot really sing or act.. definitely most of them can sing just like the asian girl... but still, consistencies on movies like these are hard to follow especially if the audience look for the actual actresses who joined hailee in this performance... although I'd really love if they'll make a spin off out of these Bellas.

You know, now I'm pretty sure Emily steps into a stage persona when she performs, which would explain how confident she appears compared to when she's with the Bellas. I'm sure part of it is also being in a social circle with her old "mentors"...but as Hailee Steinfeld is a pop singer, I'd imagine she's used to switching between the two.
