Now graduated from college and out in the real world where it takes more than a cappella to get by, all the Bellas return in the final chapter in the beloved series. After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there are no job prospects for making music only with your mouth. Just realized how symbolic 2:45 is when they all put their hands in and the curtain goes down revealing the band and they all start signing freedom. Like it really models perfectly the end of an era for them.

This is actually a huge coincidence because the girls originally weren’t even supposed to join Anna/Beca on the stage. Their shock and confusion when she pulled them on was genuine, they were also genuinely crying at then ended because they new this was their last pitch perfect movie together

Anna Kendrick’s greatest talent is being so likeable. There are other singers and actresses more talented and attractive, but not more likeable than her, which is why she will always be a Star.

not everybody understands the power of this scene, its not only how beca sang in acapella to the bellas and the bellas singing with her as the curtains dropped showing the instruments playing, its like a bow to being an acapella group and everything theyre about but thats not what matters because they'd still have one another and they're the bellas. and its iconic how this was prolly their last performance together since theyve all grown up and have their own lives to handle. plus isnt it amazing that weve watched these women grow up to be such an amazing group they have become.

Iirc this was also the very last scene they recorded together too which is why near the end, during the hugging and right after a frame of Amy hugging, you can see Amy in absolute tears behind the other 2 girls in the next frame. That wasn't scripted, that was Rebel genuinely crying because after this song the Pitch Perfect movies were over for good so this was the last time all the Bellas would be on stage together like this.

That wasn't acting, either. Rebel Wilson really was in tears, as were the others. One of the things that I like about these movies is that everything I read about them says that they really were friends. And the interviews on YT back that up. It's nice to see that these stars really do like each other.
Like Greg said above me, it was genuine. That wasn't just Fat Amy crying but Rebel Wilson. Iirc this was also the very last scene of the movie they recorded so this was not just the end of the movie but the last time they'd all be together on stage like this, that made the feelings that much harder hitting.

I don’t know why but a part me still believes that this group exists in real world and now they are all graduates, busy with thier individual lives and hoping to receive a message that they are invited to perform in their Alma Mater once more and everything will come back, the feels, the memories, and the amazing lives they once had

Every time that I listen to this, I get goosebumps. They are bloody amazing. I really liked George Michaels(RIP) original. But this version is quite awesome in its own right.

Man this movie is really crazy. I vibrate every second, I sing along I get emotional together. I do everything together man, it's serious. There is no movie crazier than this real one. In this part that Beca and Cynthia are singing, bro I don't know what happens to me I start dancing alone out of nowhere. Because I don't know music is contagious millstones. I think this part that Beca and Cynthia sing is very crazy and very contagious. The rhythm of the song with Beca singing along is the same together. And the ending that appears, the drum, violin, keyboard and Barden Bellas singing old, film is to leave any goose bumps that top film. I love too much
i feel this part of the movie had to be edited a lot.. not to alter their voices, because they are all amazing but to hide the sobs and the crying that you can obviously see on screen, have no idea how they got through that scene.

I'm on vacation. I turned on the tv last night and caught this song about 20 seconds into it. And only because it is one of my favorite songs did I continue to watch. And because I didn't know what I was watching I waited for the credits to find a name or two I could google along with the song title to figure out what I was watching. And to be more frank I'm not at all familiar with Anna Kendrick. Nope, I don't watch movies and musicals much.
Anyway, I think this is a beautiful rendition of the song. And like some of the comments I too found myself tearing up. My tears were flowing because, like Michael Jackson, George Michael left this earth too soon.

I love how she magically goes from a looping system to a full blown track behind her with bass and beats she didn't loop. Hollywood, where reality isn't required.
And also the volume of all the other's singing when they didn't have microphones. There's no way one mic, being held in front of a person running around the stage and singing, can pick up all the voices in that way.
Why do you bother to watch movies or even listen to any music? It's ALL manipulated in some way.

After seeing this with my son, as we were leaving the theatre, he said, " mom, they should do a pitch perfect 4 when the baby is older. " I told if no one does it, it's always something he could do when he was older (he was 10 at the time)
