half the set aint even watchin laker games cuz if they were they'd know even with bron on the floor DLo still handles a good amount of the offense and setting it up, especially since January. And as a result DLo has been avg 21 pt 7 assists and 3 boards since January 1st and should get more credit for his playmaking and vision, which is an underrated aspect of his game. lakers are 16-7 in their last 23 games cuz now Bron has more trust in DLo and AR setting up the offense or even cookin somebody up, and that allows Bron to roam more and be more selective with his energy. Its gon be scary at full health when Vando and Vincent come back.
Media pushing the Austin Reaves is a 3rd option narrative over DLo lol. Like at least guys at ESPN know the deal and Reggie Miller to some extent. But Shaq, Candace and Jamal are clueless.

They're better off without Lebron. That sounds crazy but Lebron commands too many touches, and like they are talking about here: "You get caught watching Lebron." With Lebron going Iso all the team can do is stand out on the perimeter and shoot a kick out three. This is the first time I've heard the TV guys talking about how Lebron limits the Lakers. Lebron can put up numbers, but it's to the overall detriment of the team. When Lebron learns to take a back seat and limit his touches, play in the high elbow as a secondary facilitator, then the Lakers can have a legitimate shot. As it stands though, Lebron is still playing for stats, and the Lakers won't make it out of the west as long as that's what's happening.
No need to hats off to the Lakers. They're just being given the opportunity to do what they do without Lebron being the primary ball handler and forcing everyone to adjust to his face up iso game. D-Lo and AR are great as primary ball handlers. AD is great when given this many touches and being counted on to score.
