This more like Japanese power metal....like it. Power metal is the best genre in metal, it's heavy, but still melodious and I like the themes...it's about fantasy, warriors, glory in battlefield and something similar. Not as depressing as some metal genres.
Whats the difference between Japanese power metal and regular power metal?
@@Cinematoast23 Japanese tend to have a slightly greater focus on tight, guitar-focused songs with extremely catchy melodies. Italians tend to have more piano and a more romantic flair. Brazilian usually is more symphonic with strings or wind instruments, and almost always have solid vocalists.
American power metal is oftentimes less melodic, and generally uses only guitars and maybe a keyboard, although the keyboard elements are usually less focal than European's stuff.

You Americans keep refering to Lizardstrenght as a some holy grail of power metal. I grew up with classic bands such as Stradicaster, Piano Piece North Polia, Symphony of Heat and All Hallows Eve to name a few, and have never seen Lizardstrenght as anything different than a gimmick and overglorified videogame boss.

I know I could've just changed my tuning, but then I gotta mess with string gauges, action, tension, truss rod, intonation. but I didn't wanna deal that. that's why I need more guitars! 😁
