    • @tweedbean
      @tweedbean  Před 3 lety +3

      Hi thanks for watching, glad it was useful. As for the AEM intake its expensive but does a great job and love how it turns the scoop into something functional. Only issues people see is fitting the heat shield above the turbo that comes with the aem, this traps a lot of heat and can lead to melting the front corner of the rocker cover, note this also can happen without the heatshield with the car in stock form, this just seems to speed up the process so many people dont fit the AEM heatshield and instead fit a proper turbo jacket.

      @@tweedbean Thanks for getting back so quick. Forge turbo blanket already fitted! I don't know why, it just seems like the AEM and the DDM Works "Ram Air" intakes would act as a funnel and dump water into the airbox on a rainy day. Awesome to hear you have no issues.

      Big ape hands.... funny. I dont have big hands, but these little cars don't leave much room for any hands to begin with.
      The more empty volume you remove from the intake, the more stable air pressure (or negative pressure) will be. I think more air space would be more area to cause delay with throttle response and air draw due to more surface area drawn in by vacuum. Just my guess. :)
