- Sometimes things get a bit rough. Broom and dust pan time when you hit solid, immovable objects. Here's run #4 with the new O8s EXB RTR. Such a fantastic, capable large scale. Huge props to ARRMA and Horizon for this epic release. Having proper power and steering out of the box with killer handling is a major achievement. Shout out to my bash brothers for another super fun session.
The way i look at it, I'm never going to do 30 foot jumps of death (or in your case simple stunts). So between the xmaxx and new v2 exb outcast, i gotta ask what would i enjoy more for ripping around and modest jumping. Outcast is so much more truck for the money, and tears the ground up in a way I've not seen out of a stock rc truck.. ever. This thing is next level. Plus the quality of the stock electronics, easier to work on, Its a no brainer 🤣 for $1k it actually feels like a good price, and much more of an actual investment in the long run.
I love all my rigs, but the Outcast 8s EXB RTR is WAY more fun than a stock XMaxx. You nailed it about the electronics and ease of access with maintenance. The gears and drivetrain are legit, unlike the pot metal crap Traxxas cheaps out with. Yes, the XMaxx is fun, but it can't do a moderate speed turn without rolling over and it's durability is highly overrated. When you compare what you actually get for 1k it becomes a no brainer which is the better value 🍻
I never judge a cars durability based on your bashes...you just drive too damn good!
I appreciate it Robert 🤗. Run #3 was a better test. I spiked her into the ground several times with no wing 😂. No heavy rig will take blatant abuse indefinitely. It's just physics. 🍻

It’s getting late in the year here in Pennsylvania but I might buy one next spring, definitely more RTR than my XMaxx, can’t even guesstimate how much I’ve sunk into my XMaxx over the last 5-6 years

That poor XRT lol. $100 in parts and it's ready to go. Imagine what it would have been like without the M2C bash bar??? You'd need a bucket to pick up the parts. Love my Arrma rigs, when they let go it's usually cos' I was being silly. The XRT and X-Maxx are some of my favs but the M2C bash bars are a must have.

You're spot on about the brace Brother 😉. They're really designed to keep the bulkheads from wanting to pull apart vs taking direct impacts, but they've been a game changer with the high center XMaxx 😱

Thanks so much Brother Avery 🤗. The chassis brace is an absolute must for the XMaxx and XRT 😍. It works perfectly for huge airs keeping the bulkheads from pulling apart. Unfortunately nothing will stop these plastic chassis implosions with a direct boulder landing 😂. ARRMA with M2C chassis is as good as it gets when the going gets rough 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

Sorry to see Shelby's rig busted like that, but that boulder would have been major damage to anything that landed on top of it like that. ( Maybe not broken in two, but surely damaged!! ) At least plastic parts are cost effective to replace when you need to. Your videos are alway fun to watch Rich! Thanks so very much for the kind words Chad 😁. We definitely have a fun group of guys in our bash circle with ever increasing skills. Shelby was definitely bummed he imploded his XRT 😮. That hit likely would've left a mark on any rig. The plastic chassis's don't stand a chance once they flex past the breakage point. That hit would've likely bent the EXB chassis, but not destroyed it. M2C chassis would've just bounced off it. I know because I've done the same thing before. We've really got to move some of those boulders 😂

That had to be one hell of a impact to bend the aluminum brace and snap the chassi on that XRT 😳 Imo that probably would've bent any stock ARMA chassi also 🤔
What a treat after a longer than expected night shift 😍 I noticed the same thing with the LVC settings on my esc, setting 3 seemed no different from 5.
XRT really showing her true colors out there 😂😂😂🤘🏻🤘🏻 I loved that truck when I had it till I started treating it like an Arrma🤒😅 How did the Setting 1 LVC treat you? I’ve been around 3.7v still on setting 3 and may drop it to 1 today.
Thanks so much Steven 🤗. Poor Shelby got his first taste of plastic fantastic carnage 😱😂. Been there done that more than once. Seeing a truck break in 2 is always a special Traxxas treat 🤣. The O8s did great on setting 1, but seems to go into protection mode at times. I might try a Max5 to see if the motor has more in it, but overall still super impressed with her stock 😍
@@richduperbash2966ditto on the Max5. The new electronics are flat out evil ❤ But definitely could use a little more, especially since I opted for the longer kraton this time. May ultimately just go full send on motor and esc, but esc first.

I have a few more things to button up on my rigs then ready for tomorrow. Feeling so much better this weekend so I’ll be out tomorrow with the ramp ready for action bro! Bring the 8s rigs 🎉. Hands down I think the outcast 8s is the strongest 8s rig on the market. Traxxas fanboys will tell you it’s a feature the XRT is two trucks in one. Drive it for a bit then suddenly you have two trucks when it breaks in half lol

Yes indeed 👍. Packs were 3.6 - 3.7 Volts.

Takes a real hobbie grade rc to bash hard dirt with rocks hiding just over the hill or clump of dirt. Lol i absolutely love this new rtr. My roller is doing just as well for me. My $399.99 o8s exb roller was the best deal ive got to date..... with my hobbystar 980kv motor an max5 it's truly a tuff truck.❤ great bash brother

@@richduperbash2966 ya I was in shock to see the 399.99 price tag shipped on the 8s exb. I've wanted the outcast 8s since getting the k8s and learning the o8s is just about perfect for hard-core bashing on 8s. The tiny bit of lost wiegh an just the size is perfect I think. I love my k8s, but it is a big pig to fly really high and hard. The o8s just takes it with less length an wieght. But absolutely love them all when it comes down to it. Keep on keeping on brotha!!!$
Great bashing there mate, I’ve got the o8s red one, stock electrics with the 7mm shock shafts from m2c and rod ends. Loving it but think I need this one too

I had suggested to Mitch he could machine his own Delrin shock lowers and he made it a reality without hesitation. Huge props to him and Avery 🍻
Btw. Max 6 or quickrun esc? ( On a old Traxxas E-Revo )150A Both work for the same motor.👊🤗 And where is it cheapest place to buy m2c parts when you not live in USA? The shipping from USA are not cheap i think.😃
The Max6 is a step up over the quickrun if you can fit it. Where do you live 🤔. M2C has several distributors in a few different countries. 🍻

Yes indeed Brother 👊. Gorilla tape is effective, but it doesn't support nearly as well as drywall tape or Fiba Tape and shoe goo or E6000. 🍻
