Yeah the Arrma spare parts are always going to be more available at least in the near future and in the US. That being said a lot of the parts on these cars are shared across the platform just like with the Arrma cars so most frequently broken stuff is usually pretty easy to get. There are several sources online for getting corally parts and as of yet I've never had a problem getting a spare part that I needed within just a few days. It is definitely an advantage Arrma has though.
@user-xg3en2lf4v My thoughts, exactly. Premature to label it a Kraton killer (or Xmaxx killer) when sourcing for these vehicles is severely lagging behind Arrma and Traxxas. I agree, great line of vehicles but do they have what it takes to play in the big leagues?! 👍
@jerryvolpini7987 I think it depends on what your expectations are. If you expect to go down to your local hobby shop and buy spare parts no I don't think that these vehicles are going to live up but if you buy your stuff online it shouldn't be a problem. I've been buying my parts online for years and other than when the Asuga first came out having problems getting one part for a few weeks I've never had a single problem getting any spare parts for these vehicles.
Yeah the shock standoffs are one of the biggest weak points on it. You can get Arrma M2C standoffs and with very mild modifications make them fit. I have a how to in my video on my XTR.
@@DoRC I modified some Ti ones from Ramjam racing. They run a bigger screw, just had to drill out the center hole on the shock covers slightly and shorten the standoff a smidge. Probably simular to what you did.
im deciding between a muraco xp 6s for 400 swiss francs or a team magic e5 hx 4s bl for 400 swiss franks. for bashing and offroad. what would you take? 🙏🙏
I don't have any experience with the team magic. I would pass on the Muraco though because even the most up-to-date version of it really doesn't compare to the modern TC cars like the Kagama.
Thats just a punisher with the parts that should of built it with 😂 the centre brace is biggest improvment, ive bent 2 rear centre shafts without going crazy on it!

@@christianhvidt6823 Yeah the radix is based on the first generation of vehicles they made and definitely had some weak points. I'm surprised that you're breaking the Asuga a lot. Lol you love your kraton that much huh , I have arrma parts for life thanks to the kraton , been through a handful , have one new still on the shelf and one that’s TYPHON straight cut diffs arms dog bones and kraton axles , truggy buggy or Mojave wheels 🛞, why ? Because no matter how good you are with tuning diffs there wear or break , that said still a favorite rc just it really can be a money pit , my first one I constantly changed pinion and ring gear till I realized you have to change the diff cases after a while , aluminum of course is better but just means last longer .
The team c. Electronics are really good , even though it was my first esc to go up in smoke lol , I probably pushed it too much , I ran it with 26 46 gearing with lots of cooling , weird thing is I ruined the pinion so I threw a standard 18t or something and didn’t even get warm before it went up . Now everyone knows how good they are and the price we might as well just go with hobbywing
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw TC electronics are better, TC aluminum is better, TC bodies are more durable, in general the TC differentials are very good etc. TC cars also handle better out of the box. Now it all comes down to spare part pricing + shipping cost, availability and delivery time for those parts, especially long term

Love these news flash type of vids, good job bud.
Yeah they're a lot of fun to make! Definitely a welcome change from the 10 to 15 hours of total time it takes to make a standard video.
US price on the roller is $419.99 which I think is pretty good
It's not bad though I will say the RTR prices more than a Kraton which isn't super thrilling.
My xlr has 25 packs through it. I finally busted a shock stand off screw...on my ankle. Its a beast.

I think you could say that for any next generation vehicle. They usually address the shortcomings of the previous generation which is a good thing.
