I’m really sorry late ko na nakita reply mo hehe, I started applying may then I got the ds-260 confirmation by september, then yung application ko na review by october, unfortunately may document parents ko na expired na and they had to submit a new one, so as of now I’m currently waiting for another review by NVC and yung schedule for interview ko :))

Thanks Lex for your videos! You have been my guide in helping my sister organize her docs. The info you provided about F2B retention was very helpful. My sis was not asked prior to her interview to make a letter and prepare some docs for F2B retention unlike you but since we watched your videos we prepared it just in case and they did asked for it. Now, she's already approved and will be leaving for US soon. God bless!

This is the first question I ask here. Me and my sister (29 &30 years old) just got approved for F2B (Family based) after 5 years of waiting from Israel (My parents are permanent resident in USA). Now we're waiting for the Interview + Having the right documents.
I wanted to know about any Financial statements: Everything is fine, but we have a debate about the question If they would ask me and my sister for any salary/bank/financial statements as they ask my parents
(the petitioners). I know they need to do it as our sponsors, but I don't know about us.

Your financial status is irrelevant. I don’t think the consul will ask about that. But they might ask what will you do in the US...

my husband just finished his interview. my question, san ka naka pag park malapit sa embassy? he needs to go back to help his dad on January but di nya alam kung may parking area ba na malapit don. its better sana para di na sya mag commute ulit. thanks!

Hi question? DS-260 expire?The State Department extended the validity period for paid fees until 30 September 2022. And the interview is October 2022. What should we ?
I have 2 specific questions:
1. How can one "re-print" DS-260 form that was already filled in and submitted to NVC?
2. Does one ( the principal applicant) need the ORIGINAL Copies of the petitioner's passport, Tax return document and W2 document?

I just finished my interview as a f2b applicant with a naturalized citizen petitioner and they never asked for f2b retention letter, certificate of naturalization nor gave me a 221(g) form.
Hi sir. Your videos are helpful. You've mentioned that your F2B category and we have same category with my brother. Our priority date is on feb2015 but we have not heard aythong yet about our case. It has been 4 years since. Hope you can give us tips on what did you do to check on your case aside from checking current dates on visa bulletin. Thank you.

Actually, i did nothing. I just regularly check the visa bulletin. That’s it and you go on with your life. But make sure you plan ahead, like in my case, i informed my employer about my status.

Ano po nakapasa po kami sa interview 1990 and 1992 Hindi kami nakarating sa America dahil sa plane ticket Hindi sinipot ng nanay ko yung letter ng embassy after we approved the interview. Now im 40 years old at ngayon palang irere activate Ang petition ko. Sana ma approved ulit. At salamat sayo sa mga info. Mo kc na reshesh ulit ako.😀 at malinaw kang Mag explain.

Hi Lex! Your videos are helpful Thank you so much. Lex, maybe you can give me ideas about F3 category. Here's our situation, my husband has been petition was filed in 2013 (he was still single at that time) by his parents. Then my husband and I got married last 2018, but prior to that my parents in-law did an update to the NVC that their son is getting married so that the petition which was filed on 2013 will not be void. So, last year May 2021 we received a letter from NVC that the petition of my husband was approved. Then my husband was told that he needs to make an acct at CEAC portal and send a mail to NVC. He was told also that within 48 hours he should received a reply. But unfortunately there was no reply. So my inlaws decided to consult to a lawyer, and my husband was told that it might take another 5 to 8yrs of waiting. Lex, maybe you have an idea why it would take that long? Is't maybe bec he is married now and that has something to do with the petition bec it was modified. Or just maybe beac of the backlogs from the embassy? Pls enlighthen me 🙏 Thank you so much in advance. God Bless

belle salazar depende po. My interview only took about 1 to 2 minutes or less... wala po ako binayaran...

Hi. It’s just the difference in the priority date at that time. The processing is faster if I retain my status. But I’m not saying it’s for all. Every case is unique.

Hi Sir Lex, How did you find out that you need to submit an F2B retention letter? cause i have the same case with you but did not receive any letter from NVC regarding with this requirement. After completing the requirements for F2B retention, did you just send it thru 2go courier service? or did you personally go to the US embassy? Hope to hear from you soon cause my interview will be this 1st week of May.
Paul Vincent Delfin Good question. Few days before my interview, i got an email from the embassy enumerating the requirements that i need to bring. Then suddenly, kasama yung letter/request for opt-out or retention. So I prepared the letter and submitted it personally sa embassy.

Hello there. Can I ask, did you call the Embassy after your interview to register your delivery address? Diba nasa ds-160 form na yung delivery info. natin? Just done with interview last Feb 21, my status is still AP. Now I'm wondering if not calling to register my delivery address is causing the delay of my visa issuance.

What you can do is go online to track your visa. (Or call the call center to assist you creating that online account)

Hi! I received mine, i cut the entire plastic pouch on top to get my passport is that ok? But I did not open the yellow enevelope. I saw other vloggers just cutting a small portion on the side of plastic pouch now I am worried :(

Yeah, Just get your passport, check the visa page, make sure your name and other details were typed correctly. Read the papers too, instructions for PDOS and how to pay for your green card.
