My mistake in my US Visa interview experience.
I applied for B1 B2 US Visa or US Tourist Visa and I got interviewed in the US Embassy Manila. Check out my US Visa interview video.

I was also interviewed last Nov 25. I had so many huge red flags but I still gave it a shot. My husband is a us citizen and currently in the US,we have not seen each other in person for 3 years, Hindi din sya permanent resident here, my only travel history was noong OFW ako. The whole time sa interview ko kunot noo si consul.hahah.
On some questions I tried to explain further para ma justify ang sagot. Nakinig naman si consul, I think as long as relevant ang sagot they will not stop you kahit medyo mahaba ang sagot. Nakaka kaba na experience. Before me apat ang na deny ng sunod2. Akala ko ako na ang 5th but thank God naka pasa din ako

One tip, remember to always answer the question in congruent with your online application; no more or less. Also,the embassy will evaluate your application prior your appointment: criminal check, travel history (not just the number of countries). They will check your fb and everything in the web too. Also, Iv been told that the embassy usually decide to either deny or issue a visa even before your visit.
Just denied today im travelling differenr countries they said ask me if i have family or Children hehe after all they said sorry your application is not qualify this time hehehe
I also think that although the last sentence is not true according to a former consul, they decide base on the interview.

USA is one of the restricts to apply Visa on whatsoever unless you have fiance that petition you from US. Mahigpit talaga sila, best of luck sa sunod na apply.

I just got approved today, I was also very nervous because I hired a visa consultant, and they told me that it would take a miracle for me to get a visa. I was so discouraged that I almost did a no-show, but I braved it and went anyway. They said I have no kids, no family in the usa and no reason to return, but a miracle happened and was given a visa. My questions revolved around the attractions I wanted to see and what I knew about them, good thing I did my research.

Thank you for sharing . Kinabahan kasi ako next year pa naman interview ko for US tourist visa. After ko mag apply online . I have no job just a homemaker. Married with the foriegn citizens. Got my US DOD ID card because my husband is a retired military. For properties naman nka pangalan tittle sa house and lot , lands, and our brandnew car . And i only had 1 active bank account . For travel history i only been in thailand and malaysia😢 .. but im still nervous that i got denied 💔
I think you have strong ties nman po to apply for tourist visa but you may also want to check kung pwde po kayo for spouse visa. Goodluck po 🙂

Nainterview din po ako last year sa us embassy pero iba po yung visa category ko,kada tanong ng consul sa akin mabilis ko nasasagot,minsan nga po diko na napapansin ang lakas pala ng boses ko.,parang dinig ako ng buong building.Sagot ko lang palagi yes or no walang explanation.Except na lang kung pinapa explain nya.Apply na lang po kayo uli sir,kasi natututo tau sa mali natin at next time approved na po kayo nyan

I agree you got denied because you mentioned about working in UAE for just a year, she might think you were on tourist visa in UAE but you worked..

I just want to ask if dapat ba English din ang sagot sa question nila, kasi I am planning to apply my father for a tourist visa para may mag-alaga panandali sa anak ko while I am working there as a nurse. One of my worries is that, hindi magaling mag english ang papa ko and baka hindi siya makasagot ng maayos sa consul.

Hi. Thanks for sharing your experience. Kindly remember that the consults have a pre-conceived notion that you have an immigration intent, so your goal is to convince them that you are going to leave the US after the duration of your visit. Did you mention about the book keeping job in your application? If not, it is best not to mention it and follow what’s in your application :-) All the best next time.

Onga po eh mukang meron na silang pre judgment prior to the interview. Sana nga po hehe but I don't plan to apply for now hopefully in the future
Meron po ata background checking na ginawa before interview date, kaya may initial assessment na ang embassy if the applicant is approved or denie. then the interview would be for validation or pwede rin na sila talaga ang may final decision of who among those approved ang pwede pa nilang ideny, we don’t know kasi sobrang bilis if duon lang sila sa interview mag base ng decision
Ang mahirap kasi pg narefused ka tendency is ma refuse k uli, again & again sayang ang pera. Kaya sa first time mo try your best na maipasa mo. Make sure you have strong ties to your home country.
Yun sa anak ko luckily na grant ang visa nya ksma pa 6 yo kid nya, her interview was feb of this yr. Wala cya show money, no invitation letter, no real property docs.

She's a Nurse, she was employed for 3 yrs at the time.
She got a 3 yo kid & husband left
She has immediate family (me) here in the US.
& most of all honesty, thats all i guess.

You can go the their website ustraveldocs and there is a section there where they list the visa requirements
You don’t have to wish which consul to go to because they already decided before you came so even if you go to the one that looks kinda nice it wont matter because a decision has been made.
Not true according to a former US consult 😅 otherwise no need for an interview

It depends po sa availability ng slots I'm not sure ngayon but before po the earliest appointment date is a few months from the booking date
Sometimes it is very hard to read their mind.. well, stay Positive, build your strong position in your county, prove to them that you have a good job, have family, parents, have property and have savings, you are coming to your country, make a eye 👀 contact and be confident.
Try again after 2-5 yrs.. be confident..or come as a student visa, you are very young, that is a challenge too.
I am US Citizen now.. 25 yrs in US.
Now soon helping foreigners to come to US with E2 visa and EB5 visa investment/ business partnershop opportunities then get green card.

Hi, I relate much from this vlog! I am also being truthful sa answer ko during that day. 3 questions lang yong tinanong sa akin. I thought tuloy tuloy na but end binagayn ako ng blue paper under 214b.it means na ang consul hindi convince sa sagot interview or d natin na elaborate ang intent natin of stay.
March 9 ako nadenied. So dapat tlaga isang sagot isang tanong lang base sa experience ko. But it's a good experience, naman.
Yong sa akin naman hinanda kona sarili denied or pasa open naman ako. Kaya pag tangap ko ng blue paper nag pause pa ako sa counter at binasa kopa.
Nagkakalungkot, kasi nga sa sobrang trufull tau sa sagot wala kang chance mag explain kasi..masyasdong mabilis ang process nakakaiya namn sa naksunod sa atin.
But God has a good plan and perfect timings. We can try again😊.
Question ko lang po meron ka bang idea how long it will take to get an appointment pag magre apply?

If you have intention of re-applying for a tourist visa, it's best to do it only if your circumstances have improved (example better job/ business, more savings, travel history, ownership of real property or vehicle, etc). If your situation is the same (lack of financial capacity or strong ties), you'll likely be denied again. You must be able to prove that you can support yourself even without a sponsor.

@@myreenechavez4866 hi, you're welcome. My suggestion is to travel to a visa-free country first (example TH, Malaysia, VN, Taiwan, etc). Pwede rin sa SG pero mahal don - pero kung SG talaga bet mo, then go. Then after one of those countries, try to visit Japan or Korea. Mas mahal don at need ng visa. Pero advantage yung travel to Japan or Korea kc nga mas mahirap & mahal pumunta don & alam ng visa officers yon. Prior travels abroad show that you have financial capacity to travel (as a tourist) and that you didn't overstay (hindi ka nag TNT). I know that it may take time & resources $$$, so good luck!

This is not a good advice.
Always remember, CONSUL/IMMIGRATION will always find a way to investigate and evaluate our documents. You could have said, "I worked in UAE legally, and only worked there within the allowed period. I left UAE after the contract and i did not overstay."
For the tourist visa, if you are an adult, you have to prove to them that you can support yourself while you are in their country.
Also, strong ties in the Philippines is important including car loans, properties and a job.
Do not attempt to lie before US CONSULAR OFFICER. That will backfire sooner or later.
Also, they are not required to tell you what went wrong. It's just the way it is. It's not just in the US. Even in other countries which requires VISA, they will not tell you anything.
On the other hand, I'm sorry it happened to you. Maybe, next time, make a good impression and bring up a stronger case.
i dont advise na di sabihin na nagwork abroad, makikita kasi nila yon. immigration has a way to confirm things so better to still tell them the truth. build your strong ties siguro and also yung namention mo that you went to UAE first to travel then to work. Ganun kasi karamihan ng pinoy sa US.

I ws like you, denied several times, which served as a motivation for me to try other avenues. I applied in other countries to work and live.
Found my new work and home in New Zealand, became a NZ citizen, and now I can travel not only to the US but also to Europe - Visa free.
When a door closes, a window will open.

I was denied by the US embassy 3 times, then I told myself USA is not the only country in the world, so I tried Australia, denied also....sabi ko ano ba yan ? Then I saw a little island on the pacific region , this island is called New Zealand, this time na approve ako ng tourist visa and they allowed me to stay initially ng 3 months hanggang na extend ng na extend and luckily for me I found an employer who willingly sponsored me for a permanent residence, and the rest is history. Now, those countries that initially rejected my tourist visa application are now within reach for me. God works in mysterious ways.

Sir hibdi ka mahiya kasi hindi mo naman kasalanan kung bakit ka na denied. You can apply for the second time kung gusto mo talagang pupunta ka sa US. Yong iba it takes then 3rd interviews before passing it. Good luck for the next future mo.

@@arviviva8509 opo, ung question na bnigay sa kin can be answerable po in a different way kung baga po ang follow up question is "then?", so nung time na tinanung sa kin yn, iba ang nging perspective ko when answering to that.... M: (Super shocked when C told me na hindi ako qualified, that's why sabi ko I can answer in a different way, but my answer was all based on my DS 160)
Partly na realize ko po after Ng interview, dapat I convinced agad c C sa mga isasagot, don't rely on what was written in DS 160, kaya inisip ko na lng na dahil sa sagot ko bka naisip ni C na once l get there maghahanap po ko ng work dun. Anyway charge to experience na lng po. Salamat po sa reply.

Dko po sure siguro po after a month po but most importantly is that meron na pong big change sa circumstances nyo po siguro or meron na kayong stronger reason kung bakit this time is kaapprove approve na po kayo
@@arviviva8509 yes po, dapat may improvement in circumstances kung mag re-apply. Example better job/ business, more savings, travel history, ownership of real property or vehicle, etc. Pag di nag improve (same pa rin), most likely ay denied ulit. Ang advice ng iba ay wait 6 months (kc pwede ka mag travel sa other country within 6 months waiting time). You must be able to prove that you can support your travel to the US without the need for a sponsor.

I think red flag yung nagwork ka sa UAE for 1 year. Parang it makes them think you will work in US.

ung original application ko po is nong 2020 and my first appointment should've been in 2021 but it kept getting moved because of the pandemic

Hi kuya Arvi, I also experienced this #heartbroken era of mine last july and august.
I also applying for my student visa po last year and yeah I was also denied, hehe.
In my case po twice ako nadenied kasi after ng 1st denial ko nagkuha ulit ako ng appointment hoping na makapasa since magstart ang school ko mga 2 to 3 weeks. For me po, I do have a sister sa US (a permanent resident🥲) and sponsored po yung school ko doon by my brother-in-law’s mom. Hayst sadded lang pro di ko alam what was the thing na nagkamali ako🥹hayst.
Maybe d pa po natin worth ngayon na magkaroon ng visa hehe hoping for the next time kuya😩.
I know the feeling 😆 but for me it's a blessing in disguise because I was able to apply for a different visa 🙂 try ka lang po ulit with stronger ground for approval

@@rap2470 ah ung sakin po is matagal nako nag apply nong early 2020 pa but due to pandemic panay cancel po ng appointment ko gang umabot ng 2022

Hi po, you can try to travel near like SG or HK but I heard stories of people who got approved with travel history. It just depends on how you answer in the interview and your rootedness or strong ties to return home 🙂

It's fine kahit walang travel history as long as your bank account is full of cash pasok po kayo dun US embassy bago palang po kayo pumunta dun alam na nila Kung ipapasa ka nila or not pero try niyo. Makakarating din po kayo dito sa America 🇺🇸

Ang sabi ng mga nagrant ng visa, kung ano lang daw po talaga nilagay mo sa DS-160 yun lang din isasagot mo, no more no less and direct to the point…unless may follow-up question…okay lang mag try ulit apply, marami nabigyan ng visa sa 2nd try

Hi Arvi! It's okay. You can apply again. Maybe next time, don't mention na lang that you worked abroad. That gave the consul the idea na baka mag TNT ka sa US kahit bumalik ka pa dito sa atin. Just mention your travels. Hit and miss talaga din eh. God bless.

You'll see the available slot for interview pagka nag submit ka na ng application/confirmation page since you'll be asked to register para access ka regarding your application. Hope nakatulong ako. I think the reason why you failed, first the way you answered seemed too confident that it might give the impression of being cocky. I understand when you said not to give too much information when you answer but yes or no answer is a little bit exaggerated.
right but that wasn't the intention the intention was to answer loudly so the consul could hear me. I answered more than just a yes or a no when necessary

Nangyari na din sa akin yan ten yrs ago tourista ako sa australia doon ang nag lodge tapos ilang q n a lang sabi try mo nalang to sa manila dun ka mag audition sabi ng afam sakin, that means bago pa ako humarap doon knows na nila legwak ako dapat sa manila ang audition ko. Next try ko soon na kaya na pa browse ako ng mga vids dito.

@@arviviva8509 ang alam ko, dun sa DS160 ngayon eh tinatanong na yung estimated monthly income ng applicant. So dun pa lang, ni-judge na yung financial capacity mo. Tsaka minsan nagtatanong sila if you own a house/ lot or car. If yes, dapat dala mo yung papers ng property or vehicle mo. Kung mag re-apply ka po ay dapat po may improvement sa circumstances.
