Actually been thinking about him and I sharing a trials bike (125 or 200) to gain confidence, control and skill at a slow pace. I'd be interested in your opinion on trials in general.

Roots, yep we have lots of em in Michigan LOL, they can sneak up and getcha real quick. Shinko Fatty Cheater works really well on the roots and rocks here in MI IMO

City of Stillwater owns it, maintained by the club. Great place to ride and the annual membership is very reasonable. Here's their website:
